God, why is it so hard to just buy a ticket for a concert today. Every time there's something new that marketing team came up with: pay a fee to get e-tickets, pay a fee for the website, and now this is new: forced downloading on an app. For ****'s sake; if it's going to be just QR code, just send it by email!!!! I DONT WANT TO DOWNLOAD AN APP TO ACCESS A QR CODE ! What a loss of time and energy !

Reading all the bad reviews makes me nervous to take the lottery for the Charli XCX show in New York. If those reviews are still up, that means many of those issues are still unresolved and it makes me want to encourage artists to divest from this platform for the sake of their fans! The app's requirements for contact data harvesting as a requirement for ticket transfers (with no other methods as an alternative to date) is also really concerning.

instructions for ticket transfer is abysmal. Video-only is unacceptable. The video itself is misleading. Nowhere is there a statement regarding the pre-req to follow each other in the app. Terrible design choices in the xfer process. The lack of flexibility of ticket media (printed, anyone?) is severely limiting. Forcing use of a smartphone feels like assimilation into The Borg. The thought "I hate this" ran in my mind repeatedly while trying to get this to do what I needed.

This app has ruined events. Their unilateral, inflexible coding makes it impossible to change tickets, even if you're trying to pay more to upgrade them. They say its in the interest of preventing scalpers, but they're also preventing legitimate sales because of their rigid system that's disconnected from the real way ticket sales work. Their customer service is also unresponsive and unhelpful. It's unfortunate that so many organizers use this app, and that customers are forced to use it.

Was a decent app until I realized I couldn't send my ticket to other people. It seems to only happen on Android. Fix: I found that if you Follow people in Account > + Friends, once they approve your friend request, then they show up as a contact for you to send tickets to. I'm not sure why this was not made clear in the app or as a response to the many reviews saying the same issue.

On this Android version of app, the send tickets to a friend function does not work at all for friends with US phone numbers. Only my European contacts would come up (not to mention being forced to give access to contacts instead of simply typing a phone number is needlessly invasive). I had to borrow someone's iPhone and use the Dice app there in order to complete the ticket transfer.

Bad, fraudulent business practices! I reached out to them about switching from the night show to the day show. They quickly stated they would issue a refund for the night show if I purchased the day show tickets within 24 hours and let them know. So I did that. Then they quickly replied that they would not issue the refund to me and the money would have to go to the original purchaser who resold the tickets to me. I have followed up many times over the course of several days, but they stopped responding to my messages. There is no option to call. The option to transfer tickets to a friend does not seem to work on the app. Not to mention, I have not been able to sell the tickets.

I was forced to download this app so that I could go to a show I want to go to, no other way to get a ticket. It wants location data. It wants access to your contacts. When you go to buy tickets it wants to automatically add your credit card to Google pay. It wants to access your music streaming services in short this app wants too much data in general. A better way to protect fans from scalpers is to have no advanced tickets and pay for admission at the door like how it used to be done.

I guess you can't scalp on an app if the app isn't usable lol. I keep trying to use a phone contact, like the app requires, but I keep getting a formatting error... because apparently the code can't interpret the data it's asking for. They're so worried about preventing scalping that any semblance of usability just went out the window. Next event I see selling on this app ima just chance it at the door. Use once and delete.

If I could give this LESS than one star I would. Desperately trying to transfer tickets to a friend. App won't let me, zero contact numbers, no one responds to email. This is ridiculous for a "live" music app where situations like this constantly arise to be this hands off and inefficient. Don't know how to proceed. Really frustrating. Terrible app.

Very annoying that you must add a phone number for someone you're transferring a ticket to, to your phone's contacts... no way to simply search by name or email for the person you're transferring to. I'm trying to trade someone a ticket to one show for a ticket to another show and it has been needlessly complicated to the point where I'm providing app technical support. Folks are generally more comfortable trading email addresses/usernames vs. phone numbers.

App basically doesn't seem to work. I've tried searching, (I'm US based) I've tried using my location, I've tried manually filtering my city or other nearby popular venue cities. No results show, I've managed to get 3 results to show that we're random genre. Currency shows in euro. It seemed to connect Spotify, (claimed to be scanning library) nothing came of it however.

literally impossible to log into the app on Android without opening a second device to read emails on, or waiting 40 seconds. insists on sending the first 2-step verification via email and then if you open your email on your phone, DICE loses the concert you were trying to buy as well as the login page itself. Get some QA for your app, my dudes!

This app is poorly designed. It's also impossible to transfer tickets to a friend. First, they demand contacts permission instead of accepting a phone number or email address. Secondly, even after granting permission, there is no way to send the ticket to a friend as it is only showing me a handful of contacts. The other person needs to create an account and then you need to follow each other to transfer tickets, but there is absolutely no helpful instructions for doing this. We figured it out from reading one-star reviews here, so that was a fun time. DICE relies on using email to resolve all issues, but doesn't have a way to deal with urgent issues (like same-day ticketing problems that need to be resolved immediately) via phone. I'm pretty annoyed that the venue uses this service and have given them feedback as well.

The app is just ok, could use some refining and tweaking, but the odd thing is the artist selection. You get shown lots of indie small bands I've never heard of, some big names you can find, and some big bands don't even show up as searchable. It would be nice if you only needed 1 single app to find bands playing near you instead of having to use multiple apps just for certain artist. Also the only option to scan for artist you listen to is Spotify which I don't use, I use other apps to stream.

The app is ok, one major issue I see though is that using the desktop version is actually 100 times better. The app version of dice doesn't display all available events correctly. The only reason I have the app right now is just because it's tied to the actual "ticket". Otherwise I'd only use the desktop version when looking for events since the app is missing a huge chunk of them *ALSO an annoying thing about the desktop version, it doesn't display the events you've "liked/saved" why???

I initially couldn't set it up because the app wouldn't recognize the verification code or the screen for the verification code kept disappearing. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling but the same thing kept happening. Plus, I had to wait a whole minute in between code requests & it didn't send the code for every request. The venue said it would have a list, so I purchased a ticket, reinstalled the app, and everything worked fine. Two days later, I received a generic Support email.

I mostly go to small venue gigs and buy my ticket via Dice whenever I can. I find the app very good and I love that it blocks touts so effectively by preventing resale at inflated prices. I noticed another reviewer slating the Wait List facility. Well, I've used it twice, and got in on both occasions. My experience of Dice has been entirely positive.

I had the same issues as other low star reviews on there. The app offers the feature to send to a friend and this does not work. Poor instructions on how to do so. With a friend who has an account and the app they weren't able to sign in since the app wants to send an email verification when it asked him to sign in via a phone number. When selecting friend via contacts I'm getting an app error. Reached out to support for a full refund of my tickets due to app errors and I received no response

Similar experience to others, I initially couldn't setup the app because it wouldn't send a verification code or screen disappeared once one was sent via email. I shouldnt need to download an app to receive my tickets. I do not agree to providing access to my personal information. Once I got the app to open it immediately try to access my personal contacts. In the terms and conditions it collects data from my contacts, location, photos AND music library?! I will be uninstalling after the event.
