More About Device Info HW
Now detection is supported for lcd, touchscreen, cameras, sensors, memory, flash, audio, nfc, charger, wi-fi and battery; if that possible for your device.
I think app is interesting and useful for users and developers who build kernels or android.
App has a quick navigation, fresh design. Also supports dark, black theme (in PRO version or 2 week in free)
You can switch by tab or use navigation panel. Many items are clickable and you can go to another tab or menu.
On recent devices reading some information is blocked.
App trying provide maximum information as possible. If you have root, app can read more (switch in settings)
Components
LCD - model. For recent android detection require root.
Also you can check the colors in lcd test.
Touchscreen - show model, also you can check how much fingers are supported in multi-touch test.
Camera - hardware info (model, vendor, resolution) and software info by API.
If can't detect camera model, sometimes available a list of supported cameras.
Detailed info about SoC in you device
CPU : model, cores, clusters, family, abi, governor, frequency
GPU : model, vendor, opengl, frequency, list of extensions
Click on the clock speed to open CPU monitor
System: complete info about your firmware build.
Memory: type lpddr and for some devices operating frequency.
Flash: chip and vendor emmc or ufs (scsi).
You can go to the memory tab and see usage of memory and storage.
Battery: base info and for some devices available extra info:
- Discharging speed is current consumption
- Charging speed is charge current minus current consumption
- Power profile - encoded by manufacturer for calculate consumption

* Model
Thermal: temperatures by thermal sensors
Sensors: availability of basic sensors and tests for them
Applications: you can quickly find apps and see info about it, also provided system apps
Drivers: you can find other chips used in your device.
Partitions: list of partition and their sizes.
PMIC: list of power regulator voltages which applied to the components.
Wi-Fi: info about connection
Bluetooth: supported features
Input devices: list of input devices.
Codecs: decoders and encoders, drm info
USB: connected devices by otg
Extra options:
- Show i2c address of the chip
- Open engineering menu for mtk and xiaomi
- List of CPU codenames for Qualcomm, mtk, HiSilicon

You can find info for other devices, compare and check similar drivers. It available on web page: deviceinfohw.ru
Also you can upload your device info. See to the Info Center.
PRO VERSION

Supports all a light, dark and black theme, choose what you like.
In the free version, black available 2 weeks for the test.

You can create a report with information about the device.
It will be saved in file HTML or PDF format.
You can open it or send to email by share button.

It's useful when available many chips or they uncategorized.
Also this supports development to improve app.
Note:
Not for all devices can read drivers info, it's depend on soc, vendor. If you want help, then upload your device info.

- Android 4.0.3 and above
Permissions :
- INTERNET is required for upload device info. It's use only for manual upload.
- CAMERA is required for getting camera software characteristics for old camera api.
- ACCESS_WIFI_STATE is required for info about wi-fi connection.

Great app, but inaccurate cpu cluster detection. Snapdragon 778G has Three Clusters, same architecture does not detect as separate cluster, in my case it's one (1) Prime Core cortex A78, three(3) Gold Core cortex A78 and four(4) Silver Cores cortex A55. And it only counts the two architecture A78 and A55. Sorry if my explanation is a bit confusing.

This app is very good for snapdragon chipset. It seems to be designed only for snapdragon chipset. I used this app in my previous Xiaomi snapdragon chipset and give out features beyond need but in mediatek chipset some features left and less. Mediatek dimensity 920 GPU frequency doesn't detect, thermal tab removed, charging and discharging reversed, and some minors also missing. Waiting for next update. My device is Vivo Iqoo Z7 5G.

This app is hands down the best when it comes to displaying absolutely every info possible about hardware (with root). I wasn't able to see the sensor models of the other auxiliary back cameras which this app was able to report. The sheer amount of info I'm able to view on this app makes this the best, for me, to recommend for an Android device.

Outstanding application, gives useful and very in depth details of almost each and every hardware part of a device, even some serial parts like microphones, camera sensors, screen model... The list goes on!!! Forget CPU-Z and Camera 2 Probe, this was all I needed by a long shot!!

Love it simple takes up hardly any storage very clean fast compact lots of features in free version. Doesn't have adds or any pop ups not even one for asking to rate app I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!! probably going to upgrade to the pro version if I end up needing those features later on. Great app! Only time I EVER take time to rate an app (good or bad) is if it is pure Trash or if it is GOLD so the fact that I'm giving my time for this good review shows how GREAT THIS APP IS. GOOD JOB ANDRE!

Latest Version, 5.11.1 (199) Sensors > 1) Compass ? And 2) Barometer present or not, (full diagnosis instead of partial data read). 3☆, Thank You. Edit; 1) Yes, Red indicator, near sensor name "Barometer". 2) But hereby "Compass" mean for "Navigator direction" (north, south, east & west), 3) To detect or diagnoses for ; whether navigator compass sensor, that is present or not in these case. There are times you need some arcane information about your Android creature, especially all these hard to read, difficult to find and impossible to capture telephony setup numbers. This app[lication], and several of its peers dig into the Android bowles and bring them out to the light. Like the screen capture clutch, these tend to be excuses for loud, abnoxious, and overbearing advertisments. But few are decent. This one is decent, but you CANNOT copy n' paste the data - only export text or PDF

It works great, and gives accurate results. My only issue is dark mode is only available if you pay - bearing in mind global warming and climate crisis, can the developer make dark mode available for free? Because we all need to do our best to save our planet for our children and future generations.

Thx brother this app provides wifi chip details and We have wsn6750 and WCN6750 from Qualcomm is a 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6/6E (2.4, 5 & 6 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2 SoC. For Wi-Fi 6/6E it has a 160 MHz channel in both the 5GHz and 6GHz bands and delivers a data rate of up to 2.9 Gbps I'm happy wifi 6 hotspot 😂 and now upgrade my laptop wifi 6e card❤️👍 Edit - can you provide usb c-type which version What is support hdmi and lan etc..

Why i can't show cpu operating time? Previously on Xiaomi Mi A2 Android 9 or 10 can show this thing, did android 13 change how to obtain the cpu data? Update: It still doesn't work, my device is Samsung M23 (sd 750)

'Device Info HW' is an app that can tell you all the specs about your device. Everything you've ever wanted to know, but, your manufacturer wouldn't tell you can be found with this app. It does its job well and is easy to use. I didn't notice any ads when I last used this app; so, either there's no ads or only very minimal ads. There's a paid version that offers a few more features, however, this free version is very full featured. I'm very happy with it and can recommend it to everyone.

It is getting increasingly rare to find an app that doesn't flash ads consistently or have some sort of banner ad in your face while using. And while diagnosing a problem with a phone is just about the last on the list of times I would want to deal with a bunch of ads. I rarely rate anything anymore but this is a great app with all the info needed and more. It also is truly ad free allowing all concentration to be focused on the task at hand. Thank you to the developer on a A++ ap.
