The sizes on the app are confusing and hard to use. On the website, I was able to look up and find pants in my size (XXXL mens, Tripp Pants), and decided to try out the app. I cannot add that size to my sizes because the drop down on the pants sizes is covered by the keyboard. XXXL mens is also not an option in search and it defaults to womens sizes when selecting so the pants I found on the website don't even show in the results.

Great app!! I've been both selling and buying through them for a couple years now, and I recommend highly!! Easy process to list as a seller, and even easier to just buy!! Lots of fabulous fashion you literally can't find anywhere else!! Good quality items and good prices, and the buyer protection saves you if anything goes wrong! Highly recommend!!!

Depop is a basic selling platform...Not as intuitive as other selling platforms I use. But it does allow you to send offers only once someone likes your item. You can't send out blast promos to market your closet. And since you can't control the amount of exposure your items get, I wonder sometimes just how much visibility my closet is getting. I just use it to gain a broader customer base. Its fine for that.

The seller etiquette here is... hit or miss. Some sellers are great and will ship your items out within 1-3 days, then there's the others that sit for more than a week before they even make a label. The app doesn't seem to push sellers to ship in a reasonable time frame, not to mention the tagging system. If I'm looking for Vivienne Westwood, I do not want your cheap stuff from SHEIN showing up in my searches because you needed "exposure". It would be nice to be more strict about these things.

I love using Depop. I use it everyday. The last couple of days I have noticed some technical issues going on like, I can't filter my search, can't make an offer, the app is slow as molasses, and not all of my purchases are showing up. For an app that is this popular, the company should be haveing thier IT support fix these issues. If it keeps doing this, sadely, I'll find another app to use.

App doesn't let me select a photo or give me a prompt to allow the camera, so I'm unable to confirm my identity and can no longer sell. Edit: customer service is also not great. Edit 2: I said the customer service was bad because you just told me the same thing you did last time. Depop has access to my camera. The button literally won't show up! Not to mention the shipping label size issue. Why does it print as a whole sheet of paper now? Will the order even be able to be shipped?

I've had the app for quite a while with no issues, but recently there are a few bugs. I can no longer choose sizes on certain categories when I use the search function - shoes are the one I've been having the most problems with. Other times, I can choose my size but it still shows results from all different sizes. I've also had trouble making new listings - I've tried reuploading and retyping everything, but I get an error message every time I try to upload a new item as of a few days ago.

Overall I have loved my depop experience! Only a couple problems I've had / changes I would make. It would be nice if the discounted bundle shipping was call "discounted" rather than "customer pays highest shipping". It would also be nice if the depop videos made in the app were downloadable to my phone. Every now and then when I'm uploading a post or saving a draft everything crashes and is gone; however, that could just be internet connectivity problems.

No matter how many times I update/reinstall, as a seller, I am only ever able to send potential buyers offers on brand new listings. Nothing else. Allegedly, this feature prioritizes iPhone. If true, its unfortunate your potential to make more sales is dependent on the type of phone you have. I've also had listings randomly switch from depop shipping to "my own shipping" without a way of switching them back. I've had to relist items with 100's of likes in order to fix it. Support never responds.

I absolutely love this app and use it every day. However, recently the filters on the search are not working as they should. When I limit my search to sizes Small and Medium, I expressly don't want 2/3 of my search to be XS. I filtered it specifically so I could consider every item on the screen, trusting it's the right size without double checking every 3 seconds. But here we are. If yall could fix this like it used to be, then I'd give it 5 stars.

I've been using depop for a few months, and I love how simple their app makes selling clothes. It's super simple and easy to use. However,depop is constantly having updates to fix bugs. There's been weeks where I've had to update the app 5 times a week. Whenever the bugs arnt currently being fixed the app can be very annoying to use because I constantly have to back out of the app, close it, and then reopen it. Imagine doing this repeatedly between each item you're posting. It's really annoying

I've been using depop happily for years, but in the past few months (notably when I gained a bit of weight and set the search sizes to larger) the search function hasn't been showing me clothes in the correct sizes; it shows about 50% of listings with smaller sizes than I selected, which is really annoying and it's making it really difficult to actually find clothes in my size. Again, I used this app so much for years, it's really disappointing to be alienated now that I'm above a size M. Idk.

I have still not gotten a response from a seller on an item and it has been 7 days since I raised the issue, 22 days since I purchsed the item. Unfortunately, when I try to tap on the issue in the app to hopefully get a refund, it says, "oops something went wrong." Yes I have the latest version. Yes I tried reinstalling the app. It just shouldn't be this hard to get money back from a non-responsive seller.

The app is great... as long as you have NO issues to resolve. They don't have a way to cancel transactions like most platforms, and if you're lucky enough to hear back from their help desk, they do the exact opposite of what you tell them to do. And they word it as if you have a choice. "Would you like....?" For example, "would you like to refund the buyer the shipping label since it won't be used?" "Yes, but not at my expense since this was a Depop glitch. No if it dings me." Bam, account neg.

The app won't let me sign in. If you click forgot password it just loops back to the start. You can't sign in using Facebook anymore. So this app for me is broken. Update: I managed to get inside the app. This wasn't the first time it was difficult to do so. This is the only app I have that tends to automatically log me out every month. Upgraded to three stars cuz I can finally use it.

Actual buying and selling experience is pretty straightforward, but the interface leaves much to be desired. If you're an Android user like myself, you don't get features available to ios users like putting your shop on hold for vacation, and you can't move sold items down unless you're on the desktop version. There's also a persistent bug with an "unread message" notif that won't go away, and even the process of reporting the issue is a huge pain through the app.

If someone sends me an offer and I accept, that should be the end of it with a buy. I have lost so many sales because I accept an offer but they dont accept my acceptance. Another gripe I have is that you should create a relist/refresh option and give the option to select all listings so we don't have to go through each individual listing to refresh it/make a new listing for it.

The app was great for a few months. Now, all of a sudden, I'm locked out. No email or notification as to why. I've only had 5 start reviews and great feedback with every single purchase. I submitted a service request, and they never contacted me back. Considering they have all my billing info, this is suspect. I've lost all confidence in this app and will be putting fraud alerts on my accounts connected to this app. Just awful.

Unlike posh there are no time regulation for sellers to ship. Also, if you make a mistake, buyers have no obligation to return items . theres no penalty for buyers or sellers to follow protocol. And if you buy, if your items even shows up, it will probably show up dirty and not as described. Good luck with returns! As a seller, it can take forever to get paid. The site wants you to apply credit to new purchases therefore its a pain to hook up accounts too. Better off using posh

If you know what to look for and work to get your page the way you like, Depop is great. However, too many people jack up prices to a ridiculous point, as we all know, so I rarely hop on here or buy anything, but, again, I've worked to get it just right, and have found amazing quality pieces for pretty cheap. Many of my favorite dresses, especially, have come from Depop, so it is very much worth the download and hunt!
