Scam, discounts deleted at checkout with voucher. I noticed after sometime that as I was using the airmiles voucher to pay, when I reach checkout and pay the price changes! Last payment I got charged for AED 168 and the shop sent me receipt for AED 123!! This means that there's a bug and Deliveroo is stealing the difference for any discount applied.

delivery driver could not find my place, so he left the delivery somewhere, no idea where. I contacted the customer service explaining the situation, and requesting to refund my order. They charged me anyway saying that the driver was in front of my apartment and I did not answer the call, totally false I was out in a call with the driver and he was somewhere far from my apartment, even explaining the address he didn't show up

The restaurant sent 2 bags in my order but the driver only gave us 1. When I complained in the live chat in the app, the operator wouldn't give us the number for the driver to retrieve our missing food. They refunded the cost of the missing items but not the portion of the delivery for the missing items. Good customer service would have been to refund the delivery cost as we only got a smaller part of the meal

They are cheats and unprofessional. I was given a £10 voucher valid till 1st June. Saved it for the UCL finals to order, only to realise that they've expired it in the morning at 4 am on 1st June. Misleading customers, specially ones that have been regular customers is totally unprofessional. Tried to contact customer service, but they were useless, only kept quoting to me that the voucher is expired and they can't do anything. Now shifting my orders to Uber or just eats. Thanks Deliveroo!!

Probably one of the worst UIs I've ever had the joy of experiencing :D! Be careful now not to leave the app because once you do, good luck finding the same restaurant you tried to order food from after putting items in the basket because it's gone and there's no basket meeting you! Love that

Not happy, first order struggled to place order, the magic process failed, lost entire order, had to do it again, then no option to enter 'firstorder' to receive discounts. tried calling number after 1 ring line goes dead, tried another handset, same issue. So, it's not a good first experience.

When it works, it's great, but recently it's just been declining every order I place. It's not the fault of the locations, and it's not on my end because I'm not having a single issue with any other delivery service. However there are places I want to order from that are only on deliveroo and it's frustrating that there doesn't seem to be a good reason as to why they keep declining my orders.

Total rip-off. Supermarkets have their items for more money online! AND they charge extra fees for delivery! Don't pay for membership! They say you get " free delivery " it's bullsh*T. They will charge you other fees and will call it something else instead of "delivery fee" plus you have to order a minimum amount to get the service! Ps: so many bad reviews and overall 4.5 stars? Haha I don't think so.

I recently found out while trying to make a order, using talk back accessibility i couldn't confirm and check out my order which meant I wasn't able finalise the order to pay so the restaurant would receive order. I hope this problem gets fixed as im blind and rely a lot on accessibility features to use my phone otherwise i wouldn't be able to use it. I prefer deliveroo to just eat as its cheaper.

My friend tried to order for us all as she had got £10 off, it was her first time ordering on the app, all was fine until we got to checkout and then it said user does not meet the conditions of this voucher. She met all the conditions, as she was a new user! But deliveroo was being stingy about having to deduct £10 off. And after the voucher was gone the price was absolutely ridiculous, for something that would've been a bit over £10 when walking in the shop, it was over £20 on the app!

The worst delivery app in Singapore when it comes to using bank discount vouchers. They dissapear if wrong payment mode is used and cannot be retrieved by customer service. Same goes for restaurant canceled orders. Using Google Pay to pay with the appropriate card will also result in error. Hence, this app has actually lost me money via lost bank vouchers a few times. 2 stars is given because the subscription is the most economical for delivery and there are some restaurant discounts.

2 consecutive orders that have bad experience. 1st, I ordered groceries to get a discount but the store don't have enough item so I ended up paying normal price because it is not eligible now for the discount. 2nd, I ordered food because there is a discount. We waited for more than 1 hour and the restaurant cancelled it. Up until now, no refund was issued. Is your promo discounts a click bait for people to loose some money??

Absolute scammers. I was making an order with a voucher and as I was selecting my payment method, the number kept climbing without me even adding anything. The promotional code was already applied and as I was selecting my order, it failed. Then the money reset to the full amount and the code was taken off my account. I didn't buy the food yet but I have never made a purchase with deliveroo and probably never will. the price is extortionate.

I have used Deliveroo for quite a while now and found it to be very convenient. But after all this time and being an avid user of it, you would think the app would be developed in a way to reward loyalty to customers who have been with them a long time or, by their records have spent a lot of money. The Gold and Silver service I would use but the required spend for groceries is too high for me!

It mostly works, but the UI can be confusing. It shows you a discount offer, you click on the link to aee who is participating, make an order and it doesn't even give an option to apply the discount. Also, it's frustrating when the place you ordered from made a mistake. You have to apply for a refund and make a new order and hipe they get it right the second time. You pay twice and have to complain for your refund. This happens way too often.

Deliveroo plus used to be good but now there's not a single restaurant with a minimum order below £20, most are £30 and they've started adding up to £4 "long distance" delivery fees to restaurants so there's no point having the plus subscription as you're still paying for delivery anyway. Just tried to place a £15 burger king order and it was closer to £30 after the extra delivery fee and a £4 small order charge. Complete rip off now.

NEVER ORDER IN ADVANCE. When ordering ASAP it works fine and is on time and cost effective. Of the two times I ordered in advance, one was over an hour late (the app showed at least 4 different riders as "close to the restaurant") and one was nearly two hours late and left with my food before I could get to him. App interface is functional, selection of restaurants is appropriate, but I'm only using it because they didn't let me know when the free trial of their free delivery expired.

Not set up in a way that you can modify food items you order (i.e. remove a topping). If you see something you want, order it or you may never get to as restaurant availability varies wildly based on day and time, even when they say they should be open. The set of restaurants called Deliveroo Editions are quite nice, but have especially bad availability and tonight the entire category has disappeared from the filters later in the day. Drivers are great, always friendly and don't get lost.

With the pandemic going on, I've been making use of this app more. I appreciate that they finally increased delivery zones, meaning that I now have access to a lot more restaurants. However, I'm finding it quite difficult to find good choices at times. Three things would drastically help: 1) A way to save restaurants, such as a favorites list, likes, etc. 2) More filter options, particularly with regards to the new heterogeneous "minimum order" requirements. If I am just ordering for myself, there's no reasonable way I will spend $50 at a restaurant where the average dish is just $8. 3) Ideally, a way to hide restaurants I have no interest in choosing -- there are certain restaurants I did not enjoy, and removing them from my default view would speed up making a choice. Edit: Removed 2 more stars as I've noticed a fair amount of restaurants where the minimum order is not stated until checkout, or, even worse, where the stated minimum order on the menu page and checkout page for a restaurant are not the same! I.e., there's a restaurant where minimum order is stated to be $30; if you proceed with a $32 order (above the stated minimum), you get charged an $8 small order fee for being below the minimum order, which the checkout page states to now be $40. Either this is just incompetence on the part of whoever wrote the backend of the app (which is believable, given all the problems the app has had over the years), or Deliveroo is trying to actively scam those not paying attention on the checkout page.

I placed an order, and it took the restaurant over an hour to confirm the order. The estimated delivery time had come and gone without any updates. I couldn't cancel my order without losing my app credit, and I'd given up on getting my food so I ate something else. Then my food gets delivered. I tried to get a refund for my food being OVER AN HOUR late without ANY communication, but I was only offered a quarter of the price. Absolutely awful communication and customer service.
