I would have given it 5 stars but sometimes I couldn't even read the words because the box with my stats was so large and when I tried to scroll up it kept interfering with the navigation buttons on my phone.. tried to change the settings on both my phone and app but nothing helped.. didn't happen all the time but frustrating enough to make me stop playing for days..

Five stars, updating from 4 years ago. I still play new chapters and sometimes restart chapters. I really like the main book series as well as the paladin series. I'm starting on the new series they have out, not usually my genre, but I'm enjoying it! The books are really addicting and with most of them finished, you won't have to wait to play to the end.

This game is amazing and incredibly fun! My only recommendation would be to add more artistic images of the backgrounds, setting, characters, etc, in between paragraphs! There's a lot of ai programs do that sort of thing, so maybe it's worth looking into. Other than that, 10/10 game!

I would love to see some standard book reader app elements implemented. For example, changing font size and screen timeout. Maybe layout as well, turning pages and page #s... maybe changing font altogether....screen dimming.. stuff like that. Thank you for all your hard work I'm happy to support this endeavor 😊

Choose your own adventures, just like the books, but interactive with various points tallied as you go - I'm living the dream! Seems I do NOT need super graphics to truly enjoy a game. And I mean truly enjoy it. I thought this game did have graphics so at first was disappointed. It did not take long for that to 180 - I also began reading these to my younger kids, these "books with a choice"( aka"novel novels"), they are hooked. Both are young to be addicts but since it's reading... {fist pump}

I installed this game because it was included in my Play Pass. Also, I loved "choose your own adventure" books when I was younger. I'm so glad I installed it. The writing is engaging, (and I haven't encountered a single spelling or grammatical error!!) It's also nice to be able to go back and choose again if your choice leads to your demise!!

Great stories. I am older (30s) and I enjoy them. I would recommend for anyone who likes reading. I just wish for those of us who are poor or don't have credit cards, there would be more ways to get coins to unlock more chapters. Update: WOW!! Just WoW! I have just finished Paladin story, chapter 2, Clash of Faith. It is amazing. The story is so wtittwr so thoughtful, intelligent, exciting and deep. The struggles of their character, the challenges to their faith, you can feel the characters.

I've had this since the beginning, I can't belive it's been years. I find myself drawn in every time I read a volume, and notice hours pass. I have no negative remarks. During your choices if you do not like it you can use coins to go to your last choice, I have a couple hundred over the years, as I do not use them much in order to read through for different avenue during the story. Many new books and they're always expanding.

In the 3rd chapter of the wizard story, so far it's good. That said, I got it through play pass; I would never have tried it otherwise for to the price. Would I pay full price now that I tried it?... No, the price tag is far too high for a mobile app; however, provided it continues to not collect data for marketing, I'd consider perhaps half price.

It would be worth 5 stars if you did 2 things, first actually finished the kids story about the 3 musketeers past the first chapter because it's been waiting for more chapters since 2018! Second if you also updated it and added more stories because it hasn't been updated and added to for a couple of years now! If you're not adding to it anymore just tell me so I can delete the app and switch to hosted games complete library which is still being currently updated and added to!

After having gone through a good number of books, I have to rescind my original review and rating. There is really only the illusion of choice; there's really only one story, one outcome. It's just trial-and-error until you find the way you're supposed ro go. Worse is that on top of the $30 price, they also expect extra payments for "coins" that let you backtrack. They're already getting your money for basically an interactive novel. Asking for more money just to make it usable is dirty pool.

Delight Games Premium Library offers an immersive and diverse collection of interactive stories. The premium library subscription provides access to countless adventures without ads or interruptions. The stories are engaging, with intriguing plots and well-developed characters. The ability to make choices that impact the storyline adds depth to the gameplay. Highly recommend for fans of interactive fiction!

Absolutely love delight games their library is full of amazing stories. Super happy about the spin off of wizard's choice. Edit: figured I'd update my review since my original was back in 2018. Still absolutely love the app and have been thoroughly enjoying the slew of stories all interconnected through the same world. Ranger's choice has been a lot of fun to read. If your new to the set of series, I'd highly recommend reading Wizard's choice first it sets up the events several other series.

Wonderful app! I only rate it 4 stars because its too easy to accidentally press a button when trying to pull up the phone's back button, and then there is no way back except possibly far back to the last choice or checkpoint. I had to pay gold to go back to the last choice when I accidentally pressed "continue" when trying to exit the app.

So far I have been through a couple series of interactives. While the books are fairly well written, decent editing. Fairly well thought out plots and such. My only complaint would be the lack of freedom of choice. As I have been through several volumes multiple times, it seems the plot line of the story either leads back to the same things or death. There isn't very much variation in the story from your choices, they always lead to basically the same experience.

I am playing my first game now, and it is a lot of fun! It does feel like an old school Choose Your Own Adventure book, but for adults. (Nothing too overly explicit.) I am super happy it is on PlayPass, but even if I had to pay for it, with the amount of books and the quality writing, it would be worth it. Update: I am halfway through the Zombie Highschool series. It is awesome! Despite being yet another zombie property, it actually has original ideas!

I really enjoy the writing and the coin system is pretty good too. And it's not too hard, choices are pretty forgiving. I'm just not a fan of being sheparded by all the choices to an increasingly narrow storyline. I think the illusion of choice really ruins fantasy if it always shepards you back to the only viable choice you "should" have made.

I do not like reading but I find myself playing this game for longer than I play other games. The first story I got involved What's the wizard's story in the beginning. The story is so good. They should make a movie of it. And being able to make choices the entire time to change the story is so cool. The maps and pictures Help my imagination. Gj to the Authors and I look forward to the next boonce onelce this one is finished.

I am really liking this so far. I have only just started the Detective Story 1, but am liking the story line so far. The ability to either gain or lose points is actually helping me thoughtfully make a choice that advances the story quite nicely. I can't wait to make different choices when I read it again. Thanks for making this more interesting with the points system. I really appreciate the work put into each story. Hoping that it only keeps getting better.

Long time fan I love this app for it's sheer number of stories. definitely a lot of variety and fun but I will say much of the plot is rail roaded in all honesty. During the chapters you have many different options that can get you into many different wacky situations but by the end of the chapter or beginning of the next chapter you tend to be no better or worser off than you would have been had you made different choices. Still great game nevertheless.
