This is based on the ad alone. Watching the ad from another game, I was intrigued. I enjoy games like these but I was instantly turned off when I watched a snippet of the male character digging through the fridge, pushing past veggies and what-nots, grabbed an eggplant and then grabbed a pair of handcuffs. Cuffs in the fridge?! Then the female character seductively gave him a look and he followed. Ad ended. Like. Why????

For all the people that said you have to buy diamonds...you don't really have to. Maybe later on in the game but the first episode you don't. To get more coins and diamonds get all three stars in a level and then the bonus of that same level for each level. So basically you'll play each level about 4 times. I just played this game today and I didn't have to purchase any diamonds yet. You're welcome!π Advice: You don't have to upgrade for every level. Save those coins.

The game is fun and addicting to play in the beginning chapters. The coins, diamonds, and boosters are free and easy to acquire the more levels you complete. Like other users have mentioned, as you progress further into the game. It almost seems like the cooking process slows down to the point that it will be impossible to pass the level without using boosters, which will have to be purchased with real money. I would rather buy the game than be duped into spending endless amounts of cash.

I've been a long-time fan of the Delicious series (I used to subscribe to GameHouse), and Delicious World is a great reboot of Emily's story. The characters are great, the story is engaging and surprising, and the cooking is varied and challenging. It can be hard, but the Delicious series has always been hard as you progress. This is a game I'm more than willing to watch ads for or throw some money at--but I love that you don't have to do either, to really enjoy the game.

It is a cooking game. Pretty simple design. Nice graphics, maybe a good storyline (only did 1 episode before asked to rate) love the way the food is delivered to the customers. Doesn't seem to let us design our own decor, just upgrade what they selected for us... Don't like that part.. gonna keep playing a bit longer to see where it goes.

I liked this game at first, then ads started sneaking in after levels. Typically, I would watch ads only when I wanted more coins or something extra. I hit a certain point where when I finished a level an ad would start. The ad didn't get me anything. It was just an extra ad that got tossed in. I would have to watch an additional ad after that one to get extra rewards.

A new take on an old classic. While I'm glad to see a new Delicious game released. It doesn't give me the same kind of challenge or enjoyment from the original games. The first season repeats the story of Emily's True Love as if it never even happened. And why would you get rid of Francois?! He's one of the best characters in the series! Another note, by having the Gamehouse Subscription, it makes the game ridiculously easy. However, I will keep playing because of how good the stories are.

Really liked this game. Im not much of a gamer but have been on here almost everyday to try and move past my level by doing the daily tasks. Unfortunately the game is getting to hard. Its starting to take me days to be able to get to the next story level due to upgrades being EXPENSIVE! And now on top of that.... ads started after the levels. π© i can feel my interest decreasing a ton, and will most likely be bored of taking forever to move on and watching ads after every level. HUGE bummer.

Love the game, I play it all the time, I have played it for a long time. Just need more space to put stuff when you make it. If you have 3 customers come in and all want the same thing, (that's 9 of that same product), you can only make 3 at a time and no room to put them all. Also need more chances on getting free stuff, it gets really expensive paying for the stuff you need to help you win a level. Need to offer more diamonds, tips, and customer patient's. The 30 second's counts down to fast.

I have been playing this game off and on for 4 years. It's wonderfully written, it's gorgeous, and the gameplay loop is fantastic! But now I remember why I stopped playing. It got grindy in Okinawa. Not a little. Like, early levels are impossible w/o upgrades, which are 6000 yen each and the only level allowed for grinding gives 110 yen each completion. I'm just kinda sad. I love this game.

I have really enjoyed this game so far. Now, I'm on season 4 and in a chapter where one of the foods is bound to burn after so many seconds, then they stick you with a "don't burn food" condition. So you have no choice but to either use one of the boosters. Also, the last game i just played, I kept pressing on the food to make and it wouldn't go! I think I'll quit until changes are made.

Addictive and fun, until u can't clear a level even when u spend ur own money. And I'm not talking a couple of dollars here and there. To clear an episode, which is one restaurant (amt of levels depends on which restaurant ur playing), you have upgrades that you need to purchase with the coins you win. However, the prices go up so substantially that you have to spend either hours playing previous levels to earn them, or spend your own actual money to purchase various things to succeed.

Quite fun, and I've been able to progress without having to spend money as long as I just play the daily challenges. I did buy a pack though to get rid of ads! π Thanks for continuing to release new stories. There's a lot of game to play! The only thing that's annoying is that it won't let me change my username in the challenges. It just generated one for me and the keyboard doesn't work! π€·ββοΈ

Edit: I had to lower my review. I'm on Episode 4, level 17 and now there are ads after almost every round!!! It does not say anywhere that buying something will stop forced ads because I specifically looked for a way to purchase and free. You should probably advertise that in the game to avoid negative reviews. So far, this is hands down the best time management cooking game!! Cute storyline, and challenging levels without them being impossible!!

Turns out that this game only links to FB & if you have to unlink it from said account, all of your progress is lost, and the game ID changes. I played this game for 4 years, got pretty far into the seasons, and had accumulated quite a bit of diamonds, powerups, and coins for the season I was on. I had to switch my FB account and because I didn't have my old game ID, my accumulation was not transferred over. I refuse to play to accumulate 4 years worth of progress, uninstalled & good riddance.

Cute game, but I had to uninstall it. I completed multiple levels just to come back and show I didn't. Apparently, there was a system wide issue, so I received 100 diamonds for the inconvenience. However, the issue is still ongoing. I really like the game. However, it's just not worth the trouble considering there are other similar games to play.

Doesn't register clicks correctly. Worked amazing till you get to...I think it's Greece. Then suddenly you can barely beat each level because the things you're touching aren't registering, or you need an item with two toppings but it'll put each toppings on two different items instead of the same one.... despite it being impossible to win without multiple of each item in your inventory. Un-installed, I got frustrated at not being able to progress because the game is broken.

Unfortunately, I am changing my review. I used to love this game. I would stop playing for a while as life got busier, but would always come back. But the last time I came back, everything was different. I can no longer replay levels and watch an ad to get double money or use a booster to get double money. It's just a set amount. Making it a HUGE grind. I don't mind grindy games, but this one was already pushing it before this change. Unfortunately, it is no longer fun to play. Uninstalled.

Agree with most other reviews, this game has proven impossible to complete without buying power ups or playing the same levels over and over and over again. I came back after several years to play again only to find it's still hard to beat without using real world money. Such a shame because I truly wanted to find out what happens in the story.. I reckon I'll find a YouTube walkthrough and just watch that. π€·πΌββοΈπ€·πΌββοΈ

I've loved this game for years. However, I'm on the verge of uninstalling it. It is forcing you to purchase boosters you wouldn't need if it gave you the option to use the boosters you have. For example, if I fail a stage by two items, it's only giving the option to purchase the +30 when I literally have 9 +3 customers available. To make it worse, when you use the +30 booster, it waits 10 seconds before the customer arrives, potentially forcing you to use or purchase another +30! It's not right.
