Don't waste your time. It has been over 12 hours and only 81% of 25gig uploads completed. Repeatedly stops and starts. Poorly designed and not user friendly. Lot of guesswork needed to try and figure how to accomplish anything you want to do. Ridiculously slow performance and the layout definitely qualifies as a "hot mess". Sounded too good to be true, and it us. Absolutely nit worth the aggravation.

Works well as photo storage, not much for everything else. Sharing a link to friends is difficult because it forces them to register. The feature to save you space by downsizing your pictures just ends up making 2 copies on your phone so it actually does the opposite of what it's intended to do. No going back now that I have so many pictures in, but I wish they would improve the app and functionality.

I'm sorry to say your software is uterly unusable on any platform. I have to use all kinds of workaround the many bugs just to salvage my data and transfer to a more reliable storage solutions. Apparently I could no longer download my files directly to my phone. I had to share my videos to my drive account to redownload on my phone. I had to take screenshots of my pictures, because I couldn't do the above mention process over 900 times. The desktop interface is the worst thing I've ever seen.

Confusing as hell. Uploaded 10mb of ebooks only to test it out but i can't find it anywhere. It shows all the files on my phone that i don't want to mess with except the ones i uploaded and want to see how to access them when i need them. I also uploaded 15gb of podcast audios years ago but they disappeared the next time i looked for them. No big deal for podcast but that's why i'm experimenting again to see if i could trust this app with important files!? I don't think so... I might be missing something this could be just my experience. I don't know...

Really cool service, but I miss the ability to select a specific folder (whatever path you like) and set it to automatically upload when connected. It seems that in the UI redesign (which is btw way better than the old interface) you removed the feature, and it's really sad, because it was so seamless and easy, and now it's gone. Is there any chance you add that feature again? it would be very appreciated.

if you don't log in every so often, they'll delete your account and all your files. They also comb through your files and will delete your account if you have backed up something with a copyright. Paying for a "lifetime" multi TB plan only to have them delete my account twice. Same on me, I guess. Stick to Google drive or Dropbox. Those services have much better support, security, speed, back up options, indexing, etc

When I first used this app, it was hard to upload files. It would stop several times in the middle and it took too long to complete so I stopped using the app. I just started using Degoo again and it is much easier to upload files now. Navigation is much more easier figure out. I'm currently uploading a file right now. It just completed. It was very fast to upload 200mb. However, I cannot find the backup files I just uploaded. This needs further testing which I don't have time for now. I have to discontinue using until I test the app further.

Says free, but it's not!. Not if you want to sync a backup at all, which is kind of the whole point. Bottom line: SCAM! DON'T TRUST YOUR FILES WITH THEM! If you accidentally use more space than your account includes, (and by default, it doesn't delete old versions of files) your files are locked up: you can't download them NOR CAN YOU DELETE THEM to free up space! They may say they don't, but I could include screenshots of just that. All you can do if you want to see your files again is buy more space or delete an entire device and all backed up files included from your backup, which means that if you only have one device connected, you're screwed. Sneaky and dishonest!

Uninstalled. I bought lifetime storage on some special offer, but the app used 400MB of mobile data in a couple of weeks, even though I'd set it to "WiFi only". No response from support. Pretty lousy backup options too. Replaced with the SyncBack mobile app instead. Update 2020-04-04. Deleted my account. I really don't see the point of this app. The UI is confusing and arbitrary, and you never know if it's uploading. It claimed it was paused because the device was using battery. It wasn't!

The UI is very clunky and awkward. You can't manage all your files on a device, only the files uploaded on the device you are using. It doesn't remember your settings, like Sort Order. I prefer the sort order for my photos to be by date, but every time I open the app, its back to name and I have to change it. I got a deal through PCWorld for a lifetime subscription for a large amount of storage, so I'm stuck with it. I should have tried the app before spending my money.

great idea, poor execution. i like the idea of free cloud storage that you can expand with offers and ads. its pretty cool. the execution though leaves much to be desired. Uploads hang for potentially weeks even when connected to wifi, theres no mass downloads, no real folder structure, sharing is difficult. im going to keep this app installed and keep using it for now, and ill change my rating if the features improve.

It was good when started. Then I paid for 15TB ultimate lifetime plan. After sometime I started to get ads in the app. I asked why and they said my plan included ads... What? It's a paid plan! They finally closed my account and I lost all my data saved over the years. Do not waste your time with this company that's not even hosting your data in the USA. Not a reliable company. Search for something else. & to all of you rating this app good, just wait!

Update, 7/30/2020. It is again failing to upload on my computer with a mapped drive. Customer support has pretty much disappeared. While it works for everything else I am still very dissatisfied that this problem keeps popping up. Uploads are slow for large files on my computer, even in turbo mode. I have a premium account. they did correct my issue with large files failing to upload on my computer. seems to work ok on my phone and tablet.

Update: Don't trust them. I earned almost 200 GB of storage to back up years of family photos, then they changed their policy to where the earned space expires after 28 days. The flawed app kept getting stuck when I tried to download all of my photos before the space expired. Stay away! Old: Lots of storage space, automatic backups, easy to use. Plenty of ways to earn more space also. Love it!

Lots of free storage & easy to get more. Would give it 5 stars if I could access my phone backups from my laptop & vice versa. *************** Update: App is almost unusable. The feed sort of works in that it shows random photos many of which are duplicates. When I try to access my files it is totally unresponsive. I hope Degoo fixes this. Also when trying to access the website it tells me my password is wrong which is impossible. Very disappointed.

Just started using this app. Easy interface, fast upload, nice features. Of course, nothing is really free, the deal is all about advertising, but so far, it isn't invasive. So far, so good. Update: Degoo remains a solid cloud service free of intrusive means of advertising. The decision is always in our hands whether to watch an ad and be rewarded with more cloud space. Degoo works seemlessly. Sweet!

There is something wrong with the app. I went to look at my photos, and it appears that everything is gone. I have not been off of the app for very long, and I am unable to backup anything now. I have given full permissions to Degoo to access my photos and have it uploading regardless of whether I am connected to the internet. I am also unable to upload photos from my Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat accounts. This is very frustrating!

My experience overall was good until I went to download the photos I uploaded. I want to have physical copies of the photos that have been on my phone for the past few years. I don't want my files to be stuck in the cloud.. For the past few weeks, I have tried downloading a very small portion of my photos, but every time I get an error.. this goes for the app, website, and windows application.. I no longer have my old phone as I had backed it up to this app, but cannot get them off..

Worked great for a long time. Now it aways says No Connection on wifi or data. No longer backing up because of it. Secondly, you can't backup all your devices with one account, that drops the rating big time. So does lack of free space. EDIT: here we go again for the past week or more getting the no connection again and I'm a subscriber so I guess I'm going to cancel my subscription because this app no longer works properly and I'm not paying for something that doesn't work.

This company's business model is making their service as difficult and as annoying as possible, so that their paid customers give up and don't use it. It's riddled with limitations, slow speed (when I say slow, the latest example is a 1GB video upload is still at 43% after 2 DAYS!), ads, and now I can't even log into the updated app. I'd strongly recommend staying away from this, so called, service.
