starts off great. fun at first, but definitely pay to win. you'll hit a wall rather quickly that requires you to drop a good amount of money on to progress past. all in all a great game to play for a day or two until you hit that wall. after that it quickly becomes a grind that you must spend everyday playing (and losing) constantly at, or spend a fat wad of cash to get past. 2 stars is very fair

very slow gameplay. amplified by ads slowing down the gameplay even more. then the game "accidentally" played two ads before I could spin this wheel thing for some extra bonuses. that was the last straw. I like the idea a bit, but the waves should go continuously. having to press fight every time you do a level worth 1 upgrade in gold. is very not fun.

I was very much enjoying the game and I played every day. I use past tense because I lost all my progress when my phone crashed. As suggested by some responses to other reviews, I emailed the developer. I've received zero response in two days. THAT'S why I'm only giving one star. If they can fix things, I'll readjust this rating upward. Droidhen needs to consider adding a cloud save... Update: I never received a response from the devs in almost a year. They clearly don't care if people keep playing their game.

Overall a good game. I only have 2 issues. Issue #1: When I go into battle mode, the game likes to freeze or automatically close the app, causing me to lose the battle. Issue #2: way too many things to upgrade and you hardley get any materials/gold when completing levels. Other than that, it's a pretty solid game.

Love Defender 1, 2 and now 3! What's the deal with no longer being able yup move this app to my external memory (SD card)? Very important in deciding which apps stay and which go in a data overload situation. Doesn't take from the games fun features and great upgrades from v.2 as well. Would still love to have all 3 movable to SD. Please???Thank you. 👍👍

The game has horrible scaling. It's fine for the first hour. After that, it stone walls you. It's designed so you have to pay 20 bucks+ to get the powerful stuff. The levels get harder dramatically, so much so the upgrade you just did is useless and you cant move forward unless you want to watch ad after ad to spin the roulette wheel.

Was aggravated at first about needing energy to play, but game still only deserves 1 star. Overall, seems like a downgraded version of Defender 2. It's more complicated and is definitely Pay To Win as once you hit a certain level you will continue to fail it until you either spend real money, or fail it enough times that you can afford upgrades.

Pleasant Update. Okay, it looks like the game will finally launch. Unfortunately all my progress is gone. I did try to login with Facebook hoping to recover but it sais there is a bug and wouldn't connect. I'm hopeful that this will be worked out so I can finally get back to one of my favorite games. I'll upgrade my review to 2 stars showing progress.

I really love this game. It has super simple gameplay with good graphics and a consistent challenge. The best part is the consistency because a lot of games are kind of all over the place. It ends up being either too hard or too easy at random points.. Another issue is that many games similar to this end up being pay to play pretty quickly and I'm making consistent progress without spending a penny. Awesome.

Great game, but the sad part is you plateau at a certain level unless you spend money on the game which is not bad considering they reward you for watching ads and don't force you to. I have restarted playing this game from stage 1. It really is a lot of fun, and I'm going to try a different build this time around but I stick by my first review that you plateau pretty badly at higher levels :/ .

My experience so far is that the game keeps crashing when I'm in a battle with people, and it takes me back to the home menu of my phone with no crash warning or error notice and then when I get back to the game, it's as if I never battled at all. Are players doing this with some kind of hack or cheat or is this a developer issue? My rating stays low until its fixed.

It's keeps bugging out during battle and after 4 or 5 minutes it goes to the home screen and all progress is lost for that battle. Update please. Other than that I love this game. Droidhen.......this is a year later. It is still doing the battle crash. Fix please. Going from 4 stars to 2 until fixed. Also ever since the last update the game won't load. It shows the logo and then crashes right away. It works now....thank you. The battle feature don't work and you also can't transfer data. Fixplz

It's a great game but it has a few flaws since the last time I played. The weekly pvp mode hasn't reset the past 2 weeks I've played it and it sucks cause everything is really overpowered on the levels that I'm on. The enhanced bows attributes get swapped between the 2 bows you have sometimes making it kind of annoying. Also the phantom doesn't go invisible when fighting it and game crashing every once in awhile. I really hope you guys fix this in a future update because I do love this game.

Decent game, but too repetitive. Music loops is too short. There should be other themes for different stages (especially as long as this game has been around. No real improvements in 10 years.) It is dumb that the world raid boss can one shot you after a certain amount of time. Some arena bosses are impossible, so you can't do anything until the week is up and it changes to another one. You should be able to equip all 4 towers at some point.

Fun game that has had me hooked from the beginning. It does become somewhat repetitive in the sense that the enemies are the same throughout the game but become more difficult to deal with and there are only four different bosses. This game definitely makes you work hard to progress but at the same time the pvp aspect allows for faster growth. I give four stars for the lack of visual diversity in the levels and enemies.

Typical cash grab game. The game is not optimized and runs poorly with bad frame rates when things get busy on the screen. Not surprising, defender 2 was the same way. Also, given the age of this game, there is absolutely no excuse for the frequent crashes while in the middle of multi-player matches. Unacceptable. Most people in undergraduate coding classes could optimize this game better. Better games out there for sure but this is good as a time killer.

Gameplay has a fun loop of battling to earn resources for upgrades. Will admit it gets repetitive to do 2-3 battles for one upgrade (I imagine more as you get higher level). The biggest issue for me though is a bug where the souls you buy will switch stats or just turn off entirely. Like you shell out $20 for an upgrade that may or may not work, or you wait 1-4 months to get them for free only to realize they don't work. Big buzzkill, please fix if you see this Droidhen.
