The game itself is fun, but the ads are literally every less than a minute and to remove ads is $10. And with the fact that more recent ads require you to wait 3 or more short windows just to skip or hit "X." It gets very painful. I get that they need ads, but they don't need to be so obnoxiously in the way Edit (Response to Dev): If the game practically requires you to buy the "No-ads," then just mark it as a $10 game with a demo instead of what it is now. That's not the point of free w/ ads.

Deep Town is an endless loop which involves digging. Use skills and machines to collect resources. Sell resources for gold to level up and unlock skills or use resources for machines to speed up resource collecting. Besides this, there's a bit more to compliment. The music has an exploration tone and the aesthetics has a rustic and Mars-like world. Even more, there appears to be some plot discovering the background of this world. Although it might be boring, I appreciate there's more to it. 4/5.

This is a pretty nice game, but not one to be played for long amounts of time. It's best played in short, periodic bursts to get the most out of your progress. Overall, though, the game itself has a very charming artstyle and the story, once you get to it, is enticing. Only reason I'm not voting 5 stars is due to the seemingly random required resources for upgrading your drill, and the dialogue being a bit google translate-y here and there. Other than that, a solid mobile game.

I really enjoyed this game until i got to level 320. From there, you're stuck without having to do purchases or watching ads. I watched the max number of ads every day for 2 weeks and still couldnt get the supplies I needed to continue progressing so i assume this is the end of the game. I really enjoyed it up until this point. Too bad it ended like this, but two weeks of daily playing and no progress really kind of shuts it down. I still recommend this game through that level!

Great game, cool concept, just wish people could do english right, form good sentences and such. I've been going through games like crazy looking for diamonds in the rough, and this came close, but translation takes the charm from the story. I ended up skipping a bunch, except for the one that complained about nobody reading the story, which gave me a good chuckle.😁 My only other issue would be with navigation. It's a pain to move things around, like moving high levels to where they're needed.️

Decent game, but some serious flaws. The biggest is that it doesnt collect resources unless left running constantly, which is an unconscionable waste. It also crashes a lot, which makes even that difficult. And despite being a single player game, uses a massive amount of data. Those combined make it garbage and uninstalling after playing several weeks. There are other issues that would at least leave it playable. (Feel free to tell me when the issues I had are better.)

TOO. MANY. ADS. And no, I'm not going to pay $9.99 to get rid of them. It would be ok if they were just used to get extra coins or speed-ups, but after a couple hours of playing, ads now pop up every minute or so, no matter what you're doing. Uninstalling. --- Dear 'Game Veterans': You completely missed the point of my review. There are TOO MANY ADS. Period. I didn't say the game itself was challenging, because it's not. YOU need to remove the ridiculous amount of ads to make the game enjoyable

I've been playing this game for a long while and one of the recent updates has come with a pretty obnoxious problem- whenever I open the inventory, it automatically jumps to selling half of an item's stock. If I adjust it and then click sell, it readjusts to half the item's stock again. This has led to me selling large amounts of things I didn't mean to sell. Sort of a nightmare. Other than that, the game is great and the developers are doing a great job. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

Tutorials lasted way to long. It's a very very simple game, it doesn't even really need tutorials. Should be an option to turn them off. Seems like a game that's fun for 2 days until you get every thing set up, then you need to spend $20 just for the next 3 weeks to be fun, and then another $20 every month after that. Doesn't seem like it's worth playing. Other than it just not being for me, if you're into idle games that can also be interactive. Than this is good I guess.

Edit 2: App is now crashing after the loading screen. I'm unable to play at all. Edit: The slider is in the middle now, which results in losing HALF of a resource instead of only one upon accidentally pressing the sell button. Idk if that's purposefully shady, a bug, or poor design, but it needs to be reverted asap. Guild pages have been crashing for over two weeks. // Nice clicker / idle game with cool graphics & story.

Its good. Fun to manage many things. The main drawbacks first. Time is a bit unregulated well. Such as smelting glass. Its rather too long because coins becomes a lil bit scarce when upgrades become expensive. Also I feel like the regeneration is a bit too high based on how far you can go early game. It increases dramatically. Also smelt and crafting upgrade price, cmon. Thats a bit of a stretch. The game needs some time to economic balance. Feels a bit random. Also magic gas freeze element bug

The points I don't like about the game: 1. Tiny side buttons. 2. I can't go up level by level through my industrial facilities from the ground - only downwards. So if I need to get to a particular level, I have to go to the top and then down 1 by one till I reach the needed facility. 3. I can't remove a facility once I implemented it but I don't need it anymore. 4. Time portal trading is kind of not necessary because oftentimes the regular price for goods is higher than through the portal.

Overall, a pretty descent time management and teamwork game. A pretty critical drawback is how much of a particular resource is need to craft some things. For example: 20 graphite rods for a lamp, or 50 graphite for a circuit?! One can't mine enough coal to keep up with that. Brought rating down to 4 stars. Latest update brought it to 3: plummetting how many ads we can watch for free chests. If it's going to be so limited, improve the potential quality of an acquired chest or something.

Very cool. Worth a try... Im really enjoying the pace and gameplay. Nice to have a game that isn't about killing everything in sight. Update: Been playing this for years. Progress doesnt transfer from phone to phone so Ive restarted 4 times... With this recent being the deepest I've gone in the game. A few small bugs aside... The game is slow paced but engaging. Perfect for micromanagement freaks like me. Of all the mobile games ive played... I've spent the most time with this. Great job!

Was a great game, then at some point the company changed to Game Veterans, and there was a huge increase in in-game ads, and a limit in offline time to 2 hours (watch ads/pay for more time). The 2 hour offline limit makes the balance of items completely wrong, I have almost a million of each raw material but can't produce the processed items at any decent rate. Really wish they didn't try to "fix" what wasn't broken. I'm disappointed the way this game went and hope they change it back.

The forced ads make the game all but unplayable. The constant interruptions when just navigating inventory, missions, or floors is an irritation not worth my time. Watching ads should be an incentive for boosts, items, and bonuses. Not a punishment for playing the game. I enjoy a good resource management game and this game has great potential. But it's like having dinner with an angry toddler.

I wanted to like this game, but the having to constantly tap vs being able to automate the laser/bots etc. is more annoying than is worth for a simple idle game. The graphics are nice. Being able to watch ads for benefits vs being bombarded is also a nice thing. I just do not see myself sitting for the long periods of time it will take to 'tap, tap, tap' to get further in the mine. Uninstalled.

Once a great game I used to put quite a bit of time into, now it is just a chore to play I struggle to even log in with how little progress I make, Not to mention the annoying pop up advertisements and the ridiculous 10$ price to be rid of them, with that kind of money I could have gotten rid of ads on 5 other games of similar quality, or better yet buy an actual game with no intrusive ads. Would not recommend.

I used to enjoy this game. Lately there are more ads, annoying popups to buy premium items and this new idle timer that prevents you from completing tasks without logging in multiple times a day. Now there are ads that pop up in the middle of gameplay. Whoever controls the game now is slowly monetizing the hell out of the game without adding any meaningful content. I've been playing off and on for years but I won't tolerate ads that pop up in the middle of game play. I'm uninstalling.

Not too many ads, smooth game play. Pretty solid game all around. Edit: not too long after I posted the above, I started getting bombarded with ads every time I pressed a button or selected a menu option. The developers wait until after you give the review before spamming you with ads. Originally gave five stars, now down to one. Very dishonest of them to do something like that, uninstalled with no chance of return.
