I love this game so much, I wish the Railroadpedia would be available on the pause menu and if I left the app and come back it stayed on the level, I really wish I could afford to buy the extra stuff because the base game was fun and im sure the rest is as well EDIT:the new electric level with the nuke and water pumping just makes this game stressful and annoying I wish it would be made easier

I really didn't expect I would enjoy this game. It's the kind of game where you need to complete challenges. At first I was just looking for like a train simulator where I could build up a transportation company. But had good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. The challenges are really good. The last challenge on the free play (which is a good number of challenges) took me a number of times to complete. The challenges have interdependencies upon interdependencies. It is really good.

You get one campaign to learn the ropes and the sandbox free. More than enough to play for hours. It's really fun so I am going to buy the rest of the game soon. I like that the game doesn't completely hold your hand the entire time too, you have to figure things out on your own after the first few tutorials. That might frustrate younger players but that was a plus for me. Merci, devs.

I played the first Railroads game and this is an amazing step up. Great graphics and experience overall. Runs without issue. This is a game that starts off addictively simple and fun and slowly becomes more complicated in a way that it is easy to learn all the facets this game has to offer. A must for rail road fans and train enthusiasts. I love the addition of the train depot! Great help. Developers are not only adding content but great improvements.

Perfect balance between a railroad tycoon game and casual play you want on mobile. No pay to win gimmicks. The expansion packs add actual value and depth to the game if you purchase them, which I did. Possibly the best mobile game I've played. A few additions that could make this perfect: -option to start at previous tech tree level, rather than startng from scratch -central route planner tool -supply chain planner screen -increased warehouse capacity These are nitpicks of a great game!

Neat game. Good gameplay. Most locomotives and campaign levels are locked behind a paywall. Price is reasonable if slightly expensive. Needs more features such as better signal performance at intersections with multiple tracks and at 2-way merges. Tracks should be more configurable with 1-way and additional dynamic selection modes. There is only 1 locomotive available for free. Bridges should have a parallel track placer like normal tracks do and should have a discount for parallel placement.

I really want to like it, but it has so many problems that it's just more frustrating than fun. Signals are buggy. Trains need to not reset from their starting location every time you modify them. There needs to be a way to tell what train you're looking at so you can modify or sell or clone the right one. And sandbox games need a more satisfying ending than just "well, I'm hauling everything my stations can handle so I guess I'm done now."

So I started playing the game and it seemed better then the last and more challenging as there was limited fuel and climbing power. Now I did see a few glitches regarding the track building stuff and two trains on a parrallel track should be able to go at once instead of waiting for one to go past the lights at a cross. That and we should have the second tier trains in the unpaid version to see a difference and what people are missing so more people would probably be inticed to buy everything.

Really fun and addicting. Finally beat level 10 it took me quite a bit of experimenting, destroying, and rebuilding to get the right flow of traffic. There is a couple things that made me annoyed too long to list on the review, but the biggest thing was how trains occupied space. Forget playing with more than 3 cars on your trains if you want decent traffic flow. A tiny bit of overhang from a cart can destroy an entire intersections flow. Otherwise love the game will buy the next parts.

Excellent game. Much better than most of the railroad games where all you do is upgrade everything. This game you actually have to route and lay your tracks. Set way points for your trains. Research more powerful trains. There is a sandbox mode. It's definitely worth the $5 to unlock all chapters. I used my game points and only had to pay $0.99 out of pocket.

I actually really enjoy this game! The sounds and logic. It's just what I've been looking for in a train simulator. Although I haven't purchased it yet, I'm really tempted. I did notice a minor bug where the route would be seemingly complete but when I'm routing an engine, it would say the route is incomplete. Ex I had set up a track then upgraded my station, and the track added to the station matched up perfectly to the track I had set before in prep. But then it says route incomplete

4.5 stars if that were an option. I loved the campaign missions. The only thing I would like is a little easier organization. Some ideas are: tracks that can be designated as one-way to make less micromanaging of train routes, an easier way to see an overview of train routes and cargo lists. More complicated scenarios can become really tedious to manage trains and routes, and remember which direction each track is intended.

I just played through all of the levels on both modes and I can't wait for more. There are some glitches with paths not showing up when you have extensive rail networks. I couldn't figure out a rhyme or reason as to why it was having issues, but sometimes I would have to add a new track or replace a track for things to work again. Sometimes it couldn't find a path between a station and the track attached to the station even though there was already trains using that same path.

Very good strategy game. Very simple to lay track and upgrade stations. The only issue I have is that the signals are not very reliable. You could have a train waiting on a clear track and the signal will not turn green. Your train would be sitting until you tell you choose "Ignore Signal". Other than that is a pretty well designed game.

I love the game and the expansions are great. It only leaves two things to be desired. The first is a minor issue with the parellel track tool, sometimes it puts the tracks too close together causing trains to crash. The second is the lack of a cloud save option, if your device is broken and you have to replace it you have no way of restoring your progress through a campaign. I'm fine replaying a level I hadn't beat, but replaying every level after being forced to buy a new phone is upsetting.

Very fun game, I've bought both expansions and put in dozens of hours. The good: Great graphics, challenging but not impossible gameplay, NO ADS, casual pace, nice assortment of industry, just really fun, even if you aren't a big train nerd. The bad: Buggy. Often trains get held up between signals when they have a clear path forward which is insanely frustrating, you can spend hours meticulously designing your entire system, only for it to be ruined in minutes by bad AI.

Great game, just needs a little more. Could use some more research options, tunnels would be nice, warehouses should hold more, and of course more kinds of engines. Another nice option to pace progression would be tracks with different top speeds that need to be researched like bridges. Been playing since the first game. Can't wait for the electric pack.

Overall, this is a really good game. Level 10 in Electric Dreams has a time limit that kind of takes the fun out of that level. With all the previous levels, you can take your time and enjoy the strategy of the game. I would also love to see a track block so you could add a fuel stop or traction station and just stop the trains instead of sending them to the depot and loosing the loads. Also, I wish you could keep cars or engines in the depot by choice to use later if needed. Overall, great game

A game with a conscience! Love that the game is not just a timepass but helps to improve environment awareness. With a nice gameplay and challenging puzzles it's great for train fans at the same time. I set up trains to run and win the game, and then often I click continue to run, just to keep watching as the trains do their rounds! It's fun

Edit: if they're a way to move your game status and the stages you've completed to a new phone, I'm so far unaware of it. That should be linked to the app store and I shouldn't have to play through all the stages again just because I change phones. Mostly a relaxing game but the sandbox mode needs the ability to select the types and numbers of buildings instead of it being random. I'm fine with random placement, but the sandbox goes from painfully easy to exceptionally complex too quickly.
