The developer could mention the features that are additional costs. That seems a little underhanded. The search could use some more features like creature sub types (I know there are a lot). Also I feel that there should be a version for android tablets. The ios HD version is hands down superior to this one and I feel a bit ripped off having gotten this only after seeing it on my friend's ipad mini.

Definitely the slickest interface of any digital deck builder I've used and I love the organization and simplicity. I am having a problem though. After the last update the app crashes when I try and look at the active deck. First time I've had a problem with it in more than a year. Would rate 5 stars otherwise.

This app is a mess now. They added so many unplayable cards like tokens, art cards, etc. that muddy up the search results. This latest update doesn't correctly sort by cost as lots of universes beyond cards end up on top for some reason. Sorting by Unique Cards will give me some art card or Arena card as default at times. Get rid of the unplayable cards entirely or make an easy toggle button to make them not populate the search results. Looking into other deck building apps for the time being.

Great app. Makes keeping track of your decks much easier. One feature change request I have would be to move the reset button for the card search function to an X to the far right of the search text field. The current location is often behind my keyboard and is inconvenient in practice Update 9/19/2021 Still love the app but would love to have the ability to set the default sort to something other than "by type". I always use detailed and have to change the view. Every. Time.

When the app works, it is fantastic. The best deck building app I've used, and I've used it for years. It does go through periods that the app just crashes on open and I have to reinstall. More so lately. Pricing also tends to be kind of wonky at times, but usually is fine. A year or two ago I'd have been likely to give 5 stars, but lately issues I've never had before have been popping up here and there without any signs of fixing them.

My intro into digitizing my collection was this system, and I love that everything is local and not on the cloud. That bieng said the "card cam" is not friendly and often gets my cards wrong, even after building a small studio with a webcam and everything to make scanning cards as easy and fast as possible. To be honest I had to move on to a system that is more consistent, I want to love this system but I can't justify the time loss compared to other systems. Maybe one day. I'll keep an eye out.

Very good deck builder and play tester overall. I don't know where they pull their deck lists from, but there's no tracking for EDH, Legacy or Vintage, which is unfortunate. As a Samsung user(I don't know if this is an issue on other devices) the app freezes quite frequently and has to restart. it's not the end of the world but it's been a persistent issue for a couple years now. I wish it'd show multiple sets for the same card when you search for something specifically.

The best interface for deck building on mobile, hands down. The problem is that it's glitchy as hell. It no longer shows me any cards, which is the entire point of the app, and I don't want to reinstall it because it doesn't let me consistently save my decks to external storage. I can't imagine the hassle of rebuilding my decks. That's the entire point of backing up files. Can't save, can't look at cards. Looks like a defective app to me. I kind of want my money back if they can't fix it.

Overall a good app for building decks. Used exclusively on phone. Minor complaints are having to open the .text file, then select the app (can't open from the app), and can't seem to delete or rename decks. Suggested improvement: the ability to tag/label cards in a deck, either from a common terms list (things like ramp, draw, etc.) or able to make own labels. Then be able to track stats on labels, so you can easily see, for instance, how much card draw the deck has

I've been using this app for years. Everytime something new comes out they update the database. You can see all versions of a card and check prices. Honestly there are some things I would like improved but I've used it so much and so regularly it deserves 5 stars. The thing I would really like is a better card scanner so I can upload my entire collection as scanning one card at a time and having to select the set release for that card when I feel it could get that info off the scan.

Fantastic app, have used for many years. Not a fan of the recent UI changes, if there was an option in settings to use the old controls for playtesting, and changing pages of search results that would be much appreciated. Specifically the issue is that both of those require more taps in this new version. Even with those small annoyances, highly recommended.

Update: Still randomly crashes, though less frequently. This is one of the best deck building apps there is except for the last month, my app will unexpectedly crash and not let me load it again. The only way to use it is to delete and unistall. Until this is fixed, and despite how much I like this app, DO NOT DOWNLOAD. It's not worth your time and your decks are better off somewhere that won't crash every time you try to use it.

I have used this app for years on both my phone and computer. Lately though, I am a bit sad about it. Tbe database has had issues showing the cards and has progressively gotten worse. Also, pricing and its options have been broken and unusable for the last 6 months with no fix in sight. Please fix the card pics and please would you fix the pricing (it's been going on way too long).

I just paid for the app and have been trying to use it because all of my magic teammates have been using it for years. I have a Google Pixel 2 XL. I don't believe the app is very compatible for this device. I can't make more than one deck without manually taking every single card entry back out of the deck. I even tried uninstalling and the original deck was still showing up. The new deck function didn't work at all. Very displeased. Hope this can be fixed. I was really looking forward to using.

Used to be great, but recently some cards have been populating as art cards (no option to select printing) and do not display description, so if it's not a card you're familiar with you'll have to look it up separately. This makes building decks very frustrating, and should be fixed as soon as possible, as nobody is playing using art cards. If the purpose is to track your bulk collection, then there needs to be an option to select printing anyway.

While this app has the distinction of being one of the only apps to do all of what it does, there's room for improvement. The UI is fairly sparse and simple, but almost too much so. My biggest issue is that two of the add on features which run this app up to its eventual $10 price for the full app aren't complete. The camera feature is now broken and doesn't work accurately, which has caused me to lower this again. Add to that price listings that are broken at this time.

The app recently started crashing on startup, and it lost all my local deck files when I re-installed (that was many, many hours of brewing lost.. at least I have the physical decks made so I can recreate the lists on a different app). But the kicker is, the app still crashes after the re-install. I guess I should have saved them to the cloud in the first place. I'll be looking for other deck building apps. Edit: After months of looking at other deck apps, this one has the best UI.

Ever since they started adding way more set filters than necessary, it's impossible to go through lists of what you could want without seeing the same card at least 3 or 4 times. For example, trying to find white or colorless artifacts/enchantments that give shroud lists 5 different versions of lightning grieves for "unique" cards and 34 "versions" of it under "all" cards. I'm disappointed because I used to stay up and build decks but this has made it not fun.

I've been using this app since it pretty much came. Been a big fan for years. However recently the app has been near unusable since the recent string of updates. Please fix these issues mentioned by other reviewers along with not double faced cards not working on the backside. Also add something ot create another app for digital cards. I regularly use this app to buy cards and I can't anymore because the digital stuff keeps screwing it up.

Been using this app for 10 years. Recent changes have seriously hampered usability. Art and Alchemy card integration is poor and you will consistently find non-cards in searches. Default results will often be low resolution scans of promo foil/stamped art. It requires too much extra work to achieve the old functionality. This could be easily remedied with settings to toggle out Art, Alchemy, promo art search results. Development appears minimal though. Sad.
