Returning Player: Well I just say, I bought the $5 version like 3 years ago and it was bad. Now here it is Jan 2021 trying out the game again but was not expecting it to be so different and in a GOOD way. They now give rewards and even have a battle pass of a sort in it now. The game is much BETTER, they even have skins for the worm now. 😎

While i like the fact that the game has a campaign, and thus, it is longer and has more game time, i absolutely hate how they completely removed the old version, which was a fun sandbox that was much more free-form. Please add it in as a second gamemode or something

The game play is fun, but what bothers me is that progress is still gated as it would be in a "free" game. You have to watch ads or pay for gems to get progress. Yes, you can do this free, but paying real money for the game, I would expect no ads and a smooth progression. This is a free game, you have to pay for, save money and get Hungry Sharks, same thing for free

The recent update is an improvement on the game, although some earlier game mechanics and details had been taken out, such as the health bar being an outline of the worm, instead of a literal health bar. Worm upgrades were earned in game, and only lasted for that game, but now they're purchased with coins. The coins and diamonds are a strange decision to make, but in-app purchases get you money, I guess. Overall it's a good update, the only that I would change would be reverting the healthbar.

Fun game, I'm enjoying it. Progression is well paced. The "action" is pretty much nonstop. I wasn't going to necessarily purchase anything, but, I couldn't if I wanted to, as that function doesn't seem to work anyway. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to connect the game to anything in order to save progress? To Devs: What about health refresh not using gems, I guess some can watch ads? I can't access that mechanism, nor can I purchase gems or anything like that in your store.

So far, the experience of the game has been overall fun. Easy to play I wish you would get coins faster. But I understand that it takes time to obviously level up. Overall good game

I've been playing this for a really long time, I don't know how long the new update has been out but I love it! It's more fun and entertaining then playing random maps trying to survive the longest, I did love evolving your worm each level, but now you can let it up with coins! It makes more sense! I love this game and can't wait for new updates, this one was huge! I really suggest playing it

Fun so far, Google Play Pass helps with the grind. I believe you would have to do a lot more grinding without the help of Google play pass or spend some extra money on top of purchasing the game. Can't wait to unlock new Worms and witness new super abilities!

I just started with using this app; however, I can tell that the game has more than just 2 or 3 options for player 'attack/defence' action moves, and has good graphics (in motion...) for a great visual experience.

This game will drive you to despair there is mostly attempts to micro transact for everything you may need to play more ... And actual playing is something you really don't do a lot of. Navigating the confusing menus and trying to play will be more likely. I believe the person's who designed thus app are also in the casino business.

A serious fall from what it used to be. Honestly i don't recommend buying the deluxe version or even downloading the free one for that matter. The deluxe edition will still be trying to pan ads to you which is ridiculous for a $5 mobile game that used to be free. They added energy, which is unlimited with the deluxe version, but this is a useless perk and shameless cashgrab against non-deluxe players. There are now ridiculous missions that actually devalue the game from what it was. Pitiful game

Very simple and fun. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that once you level up completely, half of season rewards become useless. Edit: I just reduced my rating because I spent a bunch of money playing this game and the most recent update made the game daily missions only and removed the campaign and campaign+, as well as taking away all of my worm experience cards. Not cool. Make it right and I'll rate 5 stars. Until then, it's 2.

Hey so I'm a classic player from when the game was first around. Like the 2010 2012 times. I like all the new additions. I just have some questions and ideas for you. Firstly what's different between paid and free players. Do paid players get season pass for free? Also maybe you could consider adding back the old classic minigames someday as they were a nice fun distraction. Even the christmas one. Also worm endless race. Also if you could maybe you could add the old mals and worm skins. Thanks

It used to be so much better... I had this game years ago, when it was just an unlimited survival mode and that was one of my favorite mobile games of all time. They replaced all of the best parts (upgrade/level up as you eat things, health gained from eating humans, etc.) and just ruined it with a 'campaign' and 'energy' where you complete simple and repetitive quest after quest of eating random things. That endless mode needs to be in the game for this to have any value, it's quite sad...

I'd rate it 4 or 5, but since the removal of the survival mode, I'm a bit upset. Because the missions are okay, but the task completions make the game repetitive. Have the campaign as is but with better rewards. Why bother doing a campaign mission that takes up to 5-8 minutes when you can just do a quest that can be completed in less than 3 with the same ( more or less) rewards, Which is just as repetitive? Lastly, please fix where you stick to the edges of the map of the sky box specifically.

Dont like how the worms get stuck at the top of the screen sometimes, It seems as though it could be smoother rather than the worms just hitting the top of the screen and coming to a dead stop and taking a few seconds to turn around and fall. Controls are not always the greatest but certainly not the worst. I've been playing DEATH WORM for quite some time now and overall I love it. Hope to see a good console version of this someday!

this game used to be a fun sandbox, now it's completely different, redesigned with the purpose of maximizing micro transactions. I don't care about games having microtransactions, but you've gotten rid of the base gameplay that made it fun. Additionally, if you select "rate us" in game, clicking the thumbs down sends you to their own in house contact us page. Only pressing the thumbs up takes you to the Google store.

It's exactly what you hope it is. 2d side scrolling worm escapades. Taking out the little soldiers is fun, but jumping and taking out planes is even funner. Gets my vote, doesn't try to be anything too special; just concentrates on being a good destructive game. One thing I'm not too sure on is the worms individual stats, they're not really shown anywhere and so apart from their special moves and unique models I don't know if there's any actual stat differences.

I haven't played very much of this game, but from what I've seen so far is pretty fun. I'm only doing the 3 stars right now. I will update and give a final rating. *Update* After advancing levels I found that its a lot more fun, with full custom controls with the ability to change the size, arrangement, and the location of the controls. The controls are very easy to work with. Great response with firing weapons, and movement. Well done devs!!

The game prompted me to rate it after barely spending 10 minutes playing so I'll assess it with that in mind. For a paid game billing itself as a Deluxe version, it really doesn't feel great to be prompted for a $5 premium battle pass within minutes of launching a title I've already paid for. With high quality mobile ports of PC games around a similar price existing these days, it feels harder to justify these kinds of pricing models. The game itself is fine but not a great first impression.
