An interesting game I enjoyed. It starts very slow and it's difficult to get into. Sam will disappear after literal seconds of gameplay. This requires ads or payment to skip, but it starts before you can even get into the game. I love to support developers, but it's excessive. Seconds of gameplay is not a joke at times! But when the story does pick up, it's an interesting diversion. It never fully gripped me, maybe because of the constant interruptions, but overall it was enjoyable.

This is an interactive story based on a military experiment gone wrong, you text with this girl who's trapped in it and trying to find her family while staying alive when there's basically zombies & evil people after her. I really enjoyed the texting back and fourth. and even though the game only lasted a few days it was still exciting, fun, and I enjoyed getting her texts in real time. it's cool.

Soo, its a well made add... But you get like 3 lines of dialogue before it's like "k talk to you in a bit" and you have to wait anywhere between like 5-30 minutes of nothing, the story is slow, it's not something you can actively do for fun, it makes you stop after very choice you make, why would you make people playing your game have to stop playing it after 3 minutes....

Despite some grammatical errors, the game had been pretty fun... and fairly heartbreaking. I felt connected to Sam although he was a fictional character and truly grew an abundance of emotion for him. This being said, I would like to know if there is a not -so-gut-wrenching ending. I quite nearly began to weep.... if there is another ending, please make me aware of it because it appeared some choices did not change.

I really did enjoy the story that I was a part of. The ending happened all too fast in my opinion, but still a great story none the less. Short and sweet. I bought the ad-free version. Don't regret it. At the same time, if i didn't, it would of had a more realistic approach. If the developers make more games like this, you have another permanent player, supporter and customer. Thank you. Cheers to Sam -Chris

Ok. I'm gonna be honest with you users. I LOVE this game! But I do have a couple things to go over.... Story line: Pros: I really liked the storyline to this game. It seems to be pretty well thought out compared to other choose your path type games. Con: What confuses me sometimes is just simple logic. Like, how is Sam texting while, let's come up with something... Running. How is he texting awfully fast while running or dealing with the dead? I really suggest the developers also make something more logical for that type of stuff in the future. Waiting times: Pro: I really like the way that they made it realistic about Sam checking or going somewhere. It makes it seem as if Sam is real and he/she is actually doing stuff instead of texting you every single every second. Cons: as a very eager person I have probably made this game a.lot of.money by watching ads... Lol. But like I said, it makes it seem realistic time wise. Endings: While I'm not finished with the story just yet, I've heard that there are only two endings. I would like to see more or even a sequel to it. Overall Review I would definitely recommend this game to everyone who likes the choose your path type stories. (Being one myself). Oh! another thing! If developers do a sequel, I would like it so we could actually meet the person we are talking to. (Sorry for any mistakes, I'm a fellow German so.English is not.my first language)

The story for this game is engaging, tense, and very well-written! The English is a little broken at times, but it usually wasn't bad enough to hinder my understanding or enjoyment of the game. My one complaint is that on day 4, the broken English combined with some abrubt pacing made me confused about what exactly was going on. Still, overall, it was well woth watching a handful of ads to enjoy playing!

It's a good game, your should try it if you're on the fence. I enjoyed it a lot. The only thing that was somewhat distracting for me was how off the grammar was through some parts. It wasn't exactly "wrong", it just felt unnatural and stiff, like reading English subtitles on a Japanese anime. I just decided to pretend they were both foreign and English was their second language and that reconciled it in my head well enough. It doesn't happen the whole time though and it's still worth playing.

It's ok... Not the perfect game, noir the worst. I've played for 3 days, and honestly... You need a lot of patience just to play this. You can watch ads to speed up the waiting time or pay a few dollars (2-3 plus tax) just to skip the waiting time, permanently. Gameplay wise you have use your imagination. Other than the immense amount of waiting time it's just another text zombie apocalypse game.

Where were the statistics? I was really looking forward to see how I compared to other player's paths. That said it was pretty slow in the beginning but then continued later at a better pace. I got annoyed at when after having to wait, Sam says 3 things and leaves again. Overall, I like the idea, seems unique. Statistics would make it better. And you really have to be patient in the beginning.

If you're a type of person that loves apocalyptic fiction and gets emotionally attached to characters, this is the game for you. You follow Sam through what is essentially a zombie-outbreak (but original and complex) and help him to make decisions crucial to his survival. There are some minor translation issues (I find them cute but others have found these mistakes irritating). The ads are fair, keep in mind this is a free app that took months to create. 30 seconds is worth the experience!

i really enjoyed this game, on a second play through now. Some grammer errors/sentences that are grammatically correct but dont really make sense. It felt a bit rushed (however, i was also skipping throug wait times so it honestly could have been me) but by the end, i was attached to the character. I honestly wish there were a sequel to this game and many others have said the same. (some unanswered questions and the world would be neat to expand on)

Well some of your choices impact the route you take, the ending is usually the same and the choices also effect Sam's reaction, but it didnt effect the ending enough for it to be completely diffrent or I would make a choice and still end up at the same place. otherwise i liked the story i just wish it was longer, more complicated, had achievements, and some way to go back to a previous decision without having to start over.

I downloaded this game because I'm just about finished with Duskwood and that has become one of my FAVORITE mobile phone games. I've only played the game for thirty minutes and I'm "so-so" about the it. When the characters leave the chat to go do something the game pauses in real life as well for about five minutes. You have the option of buying out the pauses for $1.99, watch an ad, or just wait it out. The pauses are FREQUENT. In thirty minutes I've had four pauses. Annoying to say the least.

Amazing detail, story, characters, graphics....I could go on & on. I was hooked straight away! I wanted badly to meet Sam, it felt so real at times. Just like Duskwood, the storyline is so emersive & emotional! I've had to remind myself that they are just games. I wish it didn't have to end though. I'm dreading the time when Duskwood ends.😭 Thank you, devs, for creating such wonderful FREE entertainment for us. Esp for those of us who can't afford nice apps, but need a way to escape reality.

For the fact that I played it completely free, this game was great. The story wasn't a super deep and meaningful one, but it was intertaining enough to keep interest for the duration of the game. Its not a super long game, but its free. So no complaints there. There were some basic grammar and word usage issues, so anyone bugged by that shouldn't play. But otherwise, its a good game to pass the time on a day where you'll be waiting around.

Watching the ads to skip past the wait times didnt bother me in the Slightest. All the ads i recieved were 30 seconds at most and for me built the suspense of stressful moments where i was hoping i hadnt made a bad decision. I adored this game so much, and i can already tell im actually going to miss talking to sam, and will forever be wondering if he made it (the game leaves it up to you to interpret sams gender, so dont take this as a "sam us for sure a guy" type of thing. Wonderful game. 💕

Its alright, the replies are spammed more than an average person would actually text, the texts are also very stiff and awkward at points, some worded incorrectly even. However, i love the storyline and how i get to keep sam alive, I've connected with this character bond. Edit: i have gone back to check, and sam literally sent 10 messages before i was allowed to respond, it's edging on ridiculous.

I really enjoyed another game by this developer, so was looking forward to this one. Game mechanics were interesting, especially the immersion with wait times to make you feel like it was an actual conversation. However, the main character that you are helping was so annoying, I didn't finish because I couldn't stand "talking" to them. They were unable to make even a simple decision. I understand this may be part of the gamification of the situation, but not for me.

It's a fun but rather short story. In a couple hours, it's seemingly over and you have the option to start at the beginning to alter your choices. A few language gaffes here and there and a couple times, the game responded to the choice I DIDN'T make but other than that it's very engrossing if, again, very short.
