This is my favourite mobile game in a very long time! FINALLY a game that feels like an actual GAME, there is no ad spam and the progression is good without ever spending money on the game. There is lots of items and levelling on the items as well as enchantments, and many rarities. The enemies are not too easy and can be difficult at times , requiring only a little grinding to level up and face them.

The game is really great. There is a lack of "how to" on crafting, etc. Becomes grinding experience after level 60 and needs a bit of balancing when it comes to levels.. I am beating lvl 100+ when I am 60+ but can't use the items I find. Although, I am having a tons of damage equipment and I get killed with couple of touches. Overall great great game, but needs a bit of explanation on certain game mechanics. Keep it up and make more quests, make some repeatable also..

Great game early on, but once you get to Elmort (and around level 80 or 90ish) it becomes super repetitive, super grindy, and ceases to have any purpose. There are no longer any quests and levels just amount to them throwing waves of the same enemies at you over and over. I have a level 128 mage and I've unlocked every place on the map. I will regularly take down hoards that are 30 levels higher than me and barely get any experience from it. Game seems to be going nowhere.

Perfect example of a great mobile game. Not overly deep, and overwhelming, yet it still has great depth. Simple and solid controls that can also be changed depending on preference and personal feel. If you're looking for a good Rpg game to play, this is definitely well worth checking out. My only complaint is that there is no controller support at the moment. It's the only thing that could make this game any better in my humble opinion. Still a 10/10 for me, even without controller support atm

Fun and addicting game. Minimal ads (all optional). It would be 5/5 for me if not for the game mechanic where you gain xp based on your level vs enemy level. I dont like this mechanic in any game, but since you have to grind specific levels to get certain pieces of gear its worse in this game. Having to play the highest level mission for 10-15 minutes before being able to gain any xp feels like such a waste of time, especially when there are enemies that can 1 hit you before they give you xp..

One of, if not THE, best game(s) on Android. I have well over a dozen hours in and while I've spent time grinding, I'm still not halfway through. It doesn't bludgeon you with ads. Progression is quick and full of choices. Armor and weapons have a variety of buffs; it's up to you what stats to focus on. You can buy and sell items, bank items, there are gems and slots, and the blacksmiths not only repair items, they can level up items you want to keep using to keep your favorite items useful.

Awesome throwback! Reminiscent of Clash at Demonhead (but better!). Small issue: some ADS go to play store automatically at the end of their duration. If they do - you lose the progress in that area and don't get the rewards (crystal totem). It's frustrating I've been kept from approximately 20000 crystals and had to re-clear areas. Also losing any loot not collected in that instance as well ðŸ˜

Really not a bad little game... Definitely more to it than just the "pixel" type title. I would love controller support for this game. Bottomless pits are a little annoying when looking for hidden areas. Not too grindy. Fairly fast level progression. Coins and gems are fairly abundant. Enough to get what you want but not too much to make it boring.I would like to see more classes in the future. All in all though, this is a pretty fun game, and well worth the pick up.

Great game to play in the free time in my opinion. It is easy to understand the mechanics and does not go too far in the grinding aspect. Their is a bit of an issue where after you get to level 50 you hit a wall where it is very hard to level up and get to the new areas since the only way to level up is 1 level 50 area or the castle which has 0 check points to grind at. Also their is one enemy that can almost always 1shot you that is very annoying.

Excellent game, keeps you going with tons of upgradeable equipment, crafting and passive skills. Wish there were more available active skills per class. Hints at the load screen are way to quick. I can never read them. There should be lists of hints in the menu. Wish there were more secrets and exploration in the individual levels. Seems like there should have been more areas you could get to within them. Otherwise, awesome!

Unfortunately I've caught up with the developers... once you reach the snow area of the map it just ends. More than half of the world doesn't have any levels (yet). I paid for no ads and to have access to some features during gameplay... the game is worth that cost as it is very fun to play. I would give 5/5 stars if it were finished, though there are a couple of kinks that need to be ironed out. Its a work in progress though so hopefully the devs keep up with it! I will keep checking back.

Combat is challenging and fun. Crafting seems heavily useless by the time you get the materials. Potions/gems/rings seem worth it. Could use more quests, especially repeatable quests. Addicting; the grind is always attractive to me. The slime area was great! Let's get a slime area 2.0. Overall difficulty scale seems to go up hard at end game. Key usage is difficult when the gear from the areas is still difficult, but maybe I'm just a baddie. Hope to see more updates! Very enjoyable so far!

Very solid game. I got through the content in about 2 weeks of playing, and ended up paying $2 for the ability to access merchants when not in town (definitely made the experience a bit better). It kind of reminds me of Diablo2, but with a bit less deoth. Pros: enjoyable gameplay, limited ads (none forced on you), not pay-to-win. The character upgrade tree is pretty cool. Cons: no real story, very few quests and those are a mixed bag. Towards the end it becomes pretty grindy.

Bought the game (no ads, global bank access) some time ago, never regretted spending that money. I do not play Darkrise as much as I did the first few months but it's always nice to come back and check out the new content that is added every few months. As of 2024 on my phone the game crashes quite often which makes finishing bridge of stagnation or gaining any experience above level 170 very annoying while also wasting buff materials.

What a delightful surprise this game has been. The depth of the game just keeps on giving. The gear, the gear customization, the mob & level variations... I could go on and I'm less than an hour into the game. The first time I opened the still tree I met with the same feeling I had on my first PoE character. After a closer inspection the tree is, unfortunately, much more linear than it originally appears. That being said, this game offers SO much more than I was expecting. Worth a look!

Solid old-school rpg until it stalls around lv80. Going further requires repeating super grindy levels dozens of times each. The transition is shocking; one moment pleasant progress, the next awful game design. No story or quests to explain the change or cushion the impact. The game is still in beta, but from other reviews this seems to be a long-term issue. Hopefully it gets changed before release. I wouldn't be so bothered if it wasn't awesome until then. I really hope development continues.

This game is amazing. The only ads are optional, there's so much to do, amazing storyline and gameplay, not laggy at all, I could keep going on. I haven't experienced any problems with this at all and absolutely love it so far. Loving all quests and everything to do with armor and crafting. Amazing and everything I look for in a game, if I could give it 10 stars I would.

One of the best free to play games I've picked up. There's no repetitive ads spamming for every little thing, the game style is exactly what is shown in the app store, infact even better, it is extremely fun to play with great progression and decent ability to get rare drops. The only thing is once you reach around lvl 90, the grind gets really tough since you level up extremely slowly so need to do the levels again and again and quests become rare. Overall- this is what mobile games should be.

Play stops abruptly at South Outpost, where there's no exit and hordes of enemies, plus 2 bosses that kill you in moments. It becomes a absolute slog after that. The buttons are infuriating. Many times an attack does not fire because another attack is still happening or your press is not recognized. I've pressed jump or potion 5 times to have it never go off, or you just get attacked because the buttons are positioned over where most of the enemies enter the play area.

Great free content. Classic RPG vibes with classes, skill trees, and a variety of abilities. Grinding and repeating levels becomes more necessary as you get further in the game. This initially didn't bother me, but I lost interest when the High Demon Boss would heal at a pace faster than I could deal dmg. After grinding for a few more hours, upgrading equipment, and using consumables. I still couldn't out dmg the healing rate. Overall, it's a good game still in beta.
