I wrote an earlier review halfway through. But now after finishing it? It's even better than i thought it was. The graphics are always top notch. Weather, enviroment (forest was epic), attention to detail, ext. But the real clutch is the challanging and unique mini-games and puzzles. I mean WOW!!! Such an amazing job!!! GG Dev team and im sure we're gonna to see more of this in the future. Can't wait!! Thanks for hours of pure enjoyment!!! \m/

Absolutely loved playing this game series. Interesting storylines and characters that make you love and care about them. Plus the minigames are fun, they make you think but aren't TOO challenging that you can't figure it out. Cannot wait for the next one to come out so I can find out if Alice ever saves her Uncle and defeats the Darkness once and for all!!!

This game of the series has the stupidest and least logical puzzles of them all. I'm currently stuck in the uncle's house because the game isn't registering the correct answer to the keys. I've quadruple checked using a website to check it, not that I am wrong. Can't move forward as I'm clearly not spending real money on this one. Also this is the only one that won't rotate the screen. Just figured out you have to slide the patterns into the rollers. Like I said before, stupidest puzzles!

This one didn't spend enough time in testing. It's not recognizing correct patterns in some puzzles, and the hint button skips way ahead leaving you in places with unsolved clues and no tools those puzzles give you. It's driving me crazy cuz I can't finish one task and it's already giving me clues for others but I don't have the tools I need. I enjoy the premise, I like to play these kinds of games, but this one is just overly frustrating.

Well, let me admit...I didn't think much of the darkness and flame series until I skipped from 1 to 4. Completely night and day. The puzzles are amazing and challenging and different from what you are use to from the previous FIVE BN games. The storyline was a great improvement and the pace was definitely a lot faster, not dull at all. I'm definitely going to try the third one, have to give the series another chance after playing 4. Amazing job FIVE BN team.

The general puzzle design didn't feel as good as the rest of the series--I had to use coins more then I usually do, including skipping multiple minigames. I think I've only had to do that once before. It's a good think they're still as generous with free coins; even when I needed 10 at once it took me all of five minutes of repeatedly playing ads while watching TV.

I got stumped on the very first puzzle, the metal insects. I couldn't figure out the mechanics and according to reviews I wasn't the only one. Instead of rating it one star because of my failed efforts I emailed FIVE-BN GAMES. I eventually figured it out - the insect has to be on the same line as the gear - but I was surprised to get an email response from the developer. Nice!

Very immersive. I do think it's a bit irritating that you absolutely have to use hints a couple of times because you got a dead end and don't know where to go out what to do. But overall, I am on game 4 so I enjoy them immensely all the same. The best feature that no other game has, in my opinion, are the bonus puzzle you can unlock. Additive

My favorite of the D&F series so far! One suggestion- during gameplay, the dialogue and dialogue boxes that appear in the upper left corner of the screen seem to take an unusual amount of time to progress (i.e. the sentence is spoken, then there is a long, silent pause before advancing to the next sentence and dialogue box). It may be helpful to shorten that pause, if possible.

I love these games!!! These ones tend to be a bit more challenging but, once again, click (or tap) on EVERYTHING!!! Even things you think you tapped on already! The only thing that I find frustrating is that the "exit" button is too close to other things. Especially on puzzles and when you accidentally press it, you have to start over! Other than that, I love it!

Updating my review. I do really enjoy this game. The graphics are outstanding! Is it the best storyline ever? No. But the music is gorgeous, the visuals are beautiful and relaxing, and it's freaking free! Not too difficult most of the time (sometimes too easy, occasionally too hard.) I definitely recommend this to people who enjoy puzzle-adventure and point and click adventure games for a nice escape to another world. There is still a bug, in the bonus chapter, with the hint system, though.

Another outstanding game! I was in a car accident recently and unfortunately got a concussion/TBI from it. Someone recommended me these puzzle games to help get my brain back to working the way it used to. It's been doing wonders! There are lots of different types of puzzles, and a lot of them (mostly from D&F 3 and D&F 4) challenge your memory. I'll catch myself playing the game often, for far longer than I meant to. But my short-term memory loss has improved significantly, so thank you! ✨️

Fun game with great graphics. Like the previous "chapters", there's a storyline you can follow, or if you just want puzzles, you have the option to skip through the story. Some puzzles are difficult to figure out because they're tricky while others are difficult because they're probably better seen on a tablet than on a phone (I'm using the Pixel 7 Pro). Some puzzles are fairly unique and there are help options for the difficult ones, so give this developer's apps a try! Слава Украине!

Frustrating. I've played through all of Lost Lands, The Legacy, and Darkness and Flame, all of which I loved, and I have to say that this chapter was aggravating. I really enjoy their puzzles usually but this is the first time I've had to skip several because the instructions are incomplete - the text just randomly ends, and some of the game controls didnt seem to work at all. Normally I cant wait for the next chapter to be released but I'm not as interested this time.

Love all the Darkness and flame games, great graphics, great storyline, most of the mini games are challenging. Always liked the fact that you never have to buy coins for a hint. That's what Always keeps me coming back to your games. I do end up buying rubies, but it's worth it. I'm only giving 4 stars for the fact that when you use a hint and it's in the next room that's where it takes you instead of the actual puzzle you need to solve. Somewhat annoying as you have to watch another ad

Good storyline and artwork. I enjoy games from this developer. But once again issues with tapping all over and still struggling to find areas of interest. From what I've seen, the PC version avoids this issue with an indicator by the pointer. The puzzles on this one were far more challenging than other games. To the point that within the first hour of playing, I had to look up walkthroughs for a few of them because they were just impossible to figure out.

Great effects & very excited for how long the game is. It somewhat challenging at most times but that's what makes it fun & suspenseful. I have downloaded almost every game from this game & I am in love with every game. The interaction wit the real life-like characters are a 10 out of 1-10. I have like 4-5 friends that have downloaded this game & they also are addicted. Each level gets more complicated. I get so excited 2 play the games that I sometimes call in sick or get off early jus 2 play!
