More About Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer

Summary
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a massively enhanced version of Ultimate Talent Development Plan, the boardgame from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.

The stage is set at the tropical resort of Jabberwock Island, and players improve their characters via the "Development (Boardgame)," "Battle," and so on.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is the dream crossover of Danganronpa characters with over 1,000 event scenes, and offers new swimsuit outfits for all characters.

Also, players can now collect collab illustrations drawn for merchandise in the Mono Mono Machine!

・Game features
Development (Boardgame)

The main part of the game in which players will develop their character over 50 days (50 turns) of summer camp on Jabberwock Island.
Roll a die to determine how many spaces to move.
An event will be triggered depending on which square the character lands on.
Each character has various stats, including level. Character stats improve by leveling up, stopping on a Growth Square, or interacting with other characters on Event Squares.
Bosses placed by Monokuma and monster battles triggered by Battle Squares will impede the player's path along the way.
Talent Squares grant Talent Fragments, which grant characters new skills. Players will also need to acquire weapons and armor at shops and treasure chests as well as utilize cards featuring useful effects to their advantage.

Battle
A Battle Mode can be played separately from the Battle Squares found in the boardgame.
Develop characters and form a party of up to four members and take on the 200-floor Tower of Despair where Monokuma-type monsters await.
In the Tower of Despair, enemies attack in waves, and the player is rewarded with Monokuma Medals upon victory.
Players need to increase their characters' levels while learning skills and gearing up their characters in order to emerge victorious.

School Store
In the School Store, players can spend Monokuma Medals and Monocoins they've obtained in battle to gain new characters and support items using the MonoMono Machine.
Each character has different rarities, and the higher the rarity, the faster they will grow in Development mode.

It's okay, a bit boring and if you have to change phones the progress won't be saved

One of the best rpg's I've played and it works extremely good for a mobile port. Controls are good and the graphics and framerate are as good as the PS4 version

Alot of fun but a bit repetitive. Also crashes occasionally when unlocking new floors in the tower causing me to have to redo fights often :/.

I'm a Danganronpa fanatic and would give anything DR an honest five stars just to support it. As a more useful review, it's probably not worth playing unless you've played the games and like the characters (but I repeat myself). The gameplay loop is sorta fun, but very grindy, especially at first. I'd fall asleep while playing it. But it was worth it to me to see more of the students, and give them silly RPG builds like max-luck stacked Celeste or poison + healer Mikan.

This game is basically a lite RPG of Danganronpa mixed with Gacha. Good thing about it is you do not need a network connection to play. Would be nice if it had the option to cloud save incase you need to switch through devices. Beware if you're planning to spend money on in app purchases it wont restore once you uninstall it you will have to start over again. Overall its a pretty fun game if you're a fan of Danganronpa or looking for a fun rpg gacha game that doesnt require internet connection.

Fans of 'Danganronpa' will surely love the interactions between characters which would've been impossible back in the mainline games (plus swimsuits galore), but for others, this board game/visual novel/turn-based RPG is hampered down by repetitive gameplay and the use of microtransactions. Overall, I think this game is alright.

I literally bought 3 characters when i downloaded and bought the game at december 2023 and i had to delete it due to not so much storage. Lately i redownloaded out of boredown and all the three character that i bought with my REAL money (not the ingame thing) DISSAPPEARED. I also had to restart the whole thing. Im disappointed.

The game overall is nice. No voice acting, tho, other than small tidbits from previous games. Also, the sound is off. Every time your phone shuts off or you switch to a different app and come back, there is no sound at all. In order to get the sound to come back, you need to close the app and reopen it entirely. No ads,and it doesn't require internet, which is a plus in my eyes. Overall, cool interactions. It's mostly a vibe and a very casual game. Once you get the hang of development, that is.
