No frills, no gimmicks, just straight up classic 5 letter word puzzles, with 4, 6, and 7 modes. Will give it 5 stars when they add auto save current puzzle: If you start a game you MUST finish it, you cannot leave and come back to it.

Awful. Loud adverts. I don't mind ads, but they need to be silent. As I always have sound off in my phone, the program is using its own to over rude my setup. I really don't like that

I really wanted to like this game but it was just disappointing. You start a puzzle, but if you don't solve it in one sitting, you lose it. I just had to close my phone for a minute, and lost the puzzle I was working on. Also frustrating that you have to put in letters in order, you can't have the third one filled in to visually see which letters you have right so far. Just not the experience that I was looking for.

Very disappointed with this version. Seems to cancel my streak at the drop of a hat, far too easy to cancel a game in progress and provoke an ad watching ordeal. Without a steak being allowed to build up naturally I am having to slog away one game at a time. Oh, and if I try to alternate classic with septle that stuffs my streak

Good, but could be better. If this had a multi-player mode where you can choose a word or customize your own word for another player or players to guess (without having to go so many rounds before you can unlock customize words), that would make this app better than Wordle.

Love that I can play unlimited, but it's a bit glitchy. Ever since my first loss, the statistics count all my puzzles as losses, decreasing my win % and leaving the "current streak" stat at 0, even though I've played 143 games and lost probably fewer than 5. And today it started giving wrong clues for double letters: it showed both A's in AWAKE as yellow when the solution was VALUE, & both R's yellow in ARROW with solution POLAR. It hadn't done that before, but now is unplayable. Please fix!

Terrible, the app crashed and my phone wouldn't turn on for 5 minutes, I tried deleting the app but it wouldn't, my phone started glitching and U finally deleted finally, don't get this app, I'm 100% sure that I just downloaded a virus. Hey it's the next day, I checked the app to see if it had a virus and it did, so don't download it.

The app is ok-ish. Sometimes it accepts invalid words too, and it's infuriating. And the hints feature is pretty bad, as it gives the letters in order, even if you have already cracked that letter. And there are ads, which you Will click, every time you try to press back button to leave the app.

Gets the job done. Their rules on duplicate letters needs to be more refined or at least be vocal about it on a rules section or something. I think other settings should be at play, like more stats info that would enhance gameplay or at least make it nice to know. Stats like most used word, most efficient starter word, etc etc. Have an option for colour blind options/light mode for those who want it. Have an option to resume a wordle at a later time without having to reset and thus, failing it.

Meh. Things I like - can be played off-line and so no ads, point score totals with levels. Things I don't like - as others have said, it often accepts nonsense words in the longer word challenges, daily word challenge calendar is wrong and cannot be changed. Otherwise, a good bit of brain work out.

If you go to settings or use the home button, each time you do so is a loss. In the daily challenge, the correct answer is not shown if you lose. In the "how to play" instructions, a sample word is IMAGE, where all the letters are white on black but only the E is highlighted as being wrong. This is a half-assed attempt to copy the NYT. Uninstalled.

This is a great 👍 game for me. Not too many ads like one word game I played. When I saw Woodley, I thought, "I'll give it a try. " So, I have a favorite game again, YES!!!

It's free, I get the reason for ads, but when they are every other game and take over 30 seconds a time, that takes the mick. Starts off with just a few ads, fine. Then after a little while they just get worse, obviously they hook you and then get loads of reviews saying "not too many ads" before bombarding you.

Ads are very annoying and turn an otherwise average game down a star. Also has a Not A Number (NaN) bug on the statistics when first starting.

It's great for the most part. My only complaint is the hint button. I've used it maybe three or four times? It only gives you the first letter, even if you've already gotten the letter green So 2-3 of those times, it's been wasted and I can't seem to use the hint again for some reason.

Pretty fun Ads, but they are pretty quick so you can still play at a good pace. I like it. Only complaint is that if I guess a word with 2 of the same letter and the word I'm trying to guess has just one of that letter, the tiles BOTH show up yellow, implying that the word has 2 of those letters. NYT Wordle would show me one yellow tile one black tile to indicate that the word in question has only one of that letter. I think the behavior should match NYT Wordle which is more correct.

This game's programming has logic errors affecting how it shows you clues about your guesses regarding multiples of the same letter. My guess had 3 'E's, the game agreed the answer would have 3, but it only had 2. I sent a screenshot with instructions to the developers on how to fix this and am still waiting to hear back from this faithful and professional group of people (see other reviews for evidence they care).

Running classic and after about 5 5-letter words, I was dropped to 4 letter words. Even though I'd gotten them all correct. Also, the first 4 letter word was "dont" which isn't a valid word as it is a contraction. I tried it anyway and it was rejected. Then when I ran out of guesses, it told me the word was "dont". Some poor coding here bud. Sorry. Also, waaaay too many ads. I can cruise through these puzzles. I don't need an ad after every level. Especially when there is a constant ad banner.

Streaks are lost when a new game auto starts. I love playing the 7 letter challenge. I haven't gotten one wrong yet, but my streak in the analytics keeps resetting to 0 whenever I click next to get off the trophy screen and press the home button. There is no other way to get to the home screen from the trophy screen, so it force starts a new game that, even when I don't put in anything, counts as a loss when I hit home. It's frustrating to know most of my losses are because of this oversight.
