Great way to refresh your brain after suffering an short or long term illness that may have caused temporary memory loss. Maybe even good learning tool for some. If you are older and were never good at crossword puzzles but were good with numbers, I would recommend this. Although I think you should receive more rewards for completing each puzzle 😉

It would be five stars if the free coins (videos) program worked and the ads didn't open a sketchy pop up link (while I am solving a puzzle) on Chrome twice now. I AM not happy with the ads system. The use of ads for coins and to open puzzles was fine, but the page's header too? That is just asking for trouble and viruses. The ad on the app's page header needs to be removed.

Some of the hints provided are so vague that they could be interpreted as multiple different things. It gets to a point where I have to rely on finishing other words in that section just to confirm that word. For example, "problem spots" doesn't provide any insight as to what the answer could be. The answer does relate to the hint, but unless other words in the puzzle are completed, it's difficult to confirm the correct answer.

I loved this app so much! Recently the removed the goals and did a smaller task list and it isnt as challenging as before. Also I'm getting numerous pop ups in the middle of my games saying I have a virus or trying to direct me to other places. If things don't improve I will be uninstalling and finding a better app. This one has went down hill.

Daily ads update. You get stuck in an ad that runs full screen and you can't get out of it. When it finally finishes a popup appears telling me to allow notifications. The SKIP FOR NOW button is dead. That is predatory and unnecessary. I know ads are a necessary evil of most of these games, but running a full screen ad at full volume that you can't back out of is unnecessary and a reason to uninstall.

I recently installed this. I love that you can play offline, that saves on data use. I love that it gives points as you play , I don't like that it's been freezing it looks like, takes forever to get the game loaded when u put on a guess like it got stuck. It's going to be wait and see as to continue if that keeps happening. It didn't at first but does daily the last few days now.I like to keep moving in the crossword not wait for it to load up my answer selected. Can't rate higher due to that.

This is a good time killer but alot of clues are reused in other puzzle. The exact same clue, I have seen one 5 times. Puzzles are starting to repeat. Do not pay for the subscription like I did. It was a mistake. It does not remove all the ads. There are still puzzle I can not start without watching an ad.

While the puzzles themselves are fun, the game absolutely destroys your battery life. Can literally watch the battery level drop as I play! Plus you're inundated with pop-ups during game play. ie Do you want 5 free letters? No! I don't want hints or ad-based hints! There are much less intrusive crossword games on the market. Avoid this one! Edit: To the developer, no, I cannot send you an email with more details. All the details are in my review!

I like this game but when you go to the "packs" the in progress ones should be all the way at the beginning so I don't have to scroll all the way to the end to find the ones I've been doing. Also spending 10-20 coins per crossword for only 5 letters is way too much when you're only way to get coins is by watching 50 ads. Could be better and more organized and would be nice to gain coins for doing challenges or at least gain coins for getting 3 stars on the puzzles. They don't give any rewards

I have been using this crossword game for over a year. It is not overly challenging but good for killing time. The prizes are somewhat lame given the amount of time expended to achieve rewards. And players are now "charged" (coins are deducted from your winnings) to use the "rewards" won in events. This is a new twist to the game which is a turn-off. But it is free to play.

The game is pretty good, but I have concerns about what the app is doing in the background. It is EXTREMELY slow to go from one activity/screen to the next, and my phone often gets hot while this game is running. No other apps on my phone do this. I only do the daily puzzles at this point, and it's frustrating just to do those.

If you like crossword puzzles, this site has plenty of them. It gets addictive once you start playing. Great site, but they do try to sell you coins and the coins go rapidly. It doesn't give you much for winning or completing a puzzle correctly, but they charge for getting help showing where your errors are. I try to find my errors on my own, they don't charge for that.

I'm not much for crosswords but the variety of this game does help a lot. That said the biggest part about doing crosswords is being able to look up possible solutions for clues, which means being able to close the window and go to another app to look up those clues. The app is too sensitive, so when you're swiping up you end up changing some of the answers you've already put in. There are other ways around this but they are not as convenient. This makes the game less fun than it could be.

I LOVE this game, I have the paid version, which is well worth it just to get rid of the ads alone. My issue is the coins rewarded. It's my personal preference to see my errors whilst I play; at 20 coins per puzzle, it adds up and goes quick. I've purchased several coin packs, and I feel as a paid player that I shouldn't have to. Daily Gift? 1 coin? Come on, devs. Is this a joke? What am I paying for? Other than ad removal? Coins should be 2 or even 3x the amount.

Edit: dropped to 1 star after a 30 second ad started mid puzzle. One more chance before I uninstall. Would be 4 or 5 stars, but there are some very obtrusive ads that pop up in the middle of timed crosswords. Sometimes they pop up in the middle of typing a word, so you have to click them away before you can keep typing one word. They also have ads that automatically download games when you try to click away, instead of sending you to the store. I think the word for this is Predatory.

I thought this was one of the better crossword games but since the last update the game freezes and it mashes me play coins when I tap on a letter above the help buttons. It also plays the wrong letter. I tap on a letter on the middle row it will play the corresponding letter in the row below instead. I have to leave the game and go back in. Does not make me want to keep playing. I have cleaned the cache many times.

Started playing years ago, enjoyed the app. Puzzles are fun, but not so challenging as to be frustrating. Unfortunately I had to drop my rating from 5 to 2. The tournaments have become meaningless and annoying, the bonus features change, now some flower pot thing, almost daily. What's fun about having to keep track of the words solved, or hints, or ads? I go on the app, play my dailies and that's it now. I will probably move on once I get my 365 day achievement.
