The good: Decent AI summaries of the articles. The bad: Everything else. The interface is cluttered. The recommendations are terrible. Customizing relevant topics doesn't seem to work well. Most the articles are just lists put together by a random bot. And their recent ad was tone deaf as hell. Save yourself time and find something better

I've been using the Chrome extension for a while and having it on my phone is great. The ability to upvote and favorite articles for later use on my laptop. It all syncs via Google or GitHub and I've learnt a lot of new things just from reading articles on daily.dev. Keep up the great work devs!

I like the UI/UX. Quite simple and works well. Suggestion: please check on the profile page, it seems a bit jumpy/layout shifts. When I go to the profile page, the bottom navigation shifts a bit down and it looks as if it's changed or shifted so it becomes scrollable instead of being static. Also, on the search page, the announcement (Mobile anniversary) was covered by the search input. Perhaps a z-index issue? Lol. But it's good for a first launch.

The actual news content is fine: it appears to be just aggregated articles that you can find anywhere else, but fine. What's irritating is the ads, the puerile attempts to gamify your reading experience, "you're on a 5-day reading streak!" (*cringe*) and the general bloated feel of it. Not an app I'd recommend.

The app is a PWA port. And it doesn't work as good as expected natively. For example, when I click back on certain pages using my phone's navigation bar, it simply exits the app. This became very frustrating. Id rather just visit the website and consume the application from there.

Overall a very good app with a pretty interesting feed. I have a few issues with "Recomended" not working from time to time, as well as articles in foreign languages With the lates design change I have experienced a huge performance drop, often i takes 10-15sec. To open a card, or respond to scrolling, upvotes and bookmarks, etc.

This is by far the worst experience I had with an Android app in my life. It started as a simple, useful and a good app. But today it's full of unnecessary features, which don't work most of the time. Links don't open in my browser even after I set it up in settings. Crashes constantly and it's slow.

The app is actually really good, I get to know about lots of stuff, I honestly never knew existed (Even though I'm new to things) but there's only one issue, there's no labelling for bookmarks, I'd love it if you guys can make labels for organizing the posts, maybe manual or automatic, automatic as the posts would reside in respective tags.

Cannot login. Nothing works in terms of sending the credentials to their server (Github, google, normal email auth). Edit: Uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. Worse yet now the actual app doesn't even work. It just shows the logo, and that's it. Overall, it is completely unresponsive.

Worst UX I had to endure in a long time. "Running in Vivaldi" (which I don't have installed) already gave me a bad feeling. This looks and feels like a half assed web container app. Unusable registration form without error messages and a generally slow feeling of everything. Would give 0 stars if the idea itself wasn't good.

Its fairly good but I want to make a suggestion. Its a PWA as far as I know and so when you instantly lose internet connection it falls back to the default chrome "no internet connection" So I would suggest you register a service worker to cache the resources in the cache api so that you can show it even if the user loses connection. Thus why I rated 4 stars

On my phone, I have Firefox set as my default browser, and I have Cromite as a backup. All this app does when I open it is launch the daily.dev website in Cromite. The app does absolutely nothing. Why it doesn't respect by default browser, or why they don't at least try to integrate the web experience into the app a little better is beyond me. But this app is completely useless.

The app itself is actually pretty good. I like the interface and the articles are interesting as well. However, it was almost impossible to log in. I couldn't use the Google login for some reason, and overall it was just very confusing as if the app didn't even want me to login.

It's cool just few enhancement required as I found from my end. 1. The post view and back is not syncing but again it's going to top. 2. The post feeds in channel look little off as they completely different 3. Some time when internet is little slow the post are loading and streching to fit which looks little off. Thank you

Hi, just wanted to let you know that your form validation in the sign up doesn't really work as planned, i was trying to write a username that has a dot in it and it wouldn't let me sign up but i didnt know why, nothing was showing on screen saying that anything was wrong, but after i removed the dot and created my acc and feed, the warning showed up at the bottom of my feed.

I like it because I read a lot of interesting articles about JavaScript.

The new update broke the sign in process. Cannot login properly using my Google account. Even sign in using email is not working.

Couldn't use the app, everything was way too small and I couldn't find a setting to adjust that.

Really buggy app. I couldn't even complete my sign up procedure and had to hit 'back' to enter the main feed page... Which told me my non-existent preferences were too specific. So I tried to set up my filters but it was a struggle as well, selecting one option deselects the previous one so you only really can have one filter. I gave up after that. Waiting for an update before I pick this up again.

PWA experience is just bad. Try again with a better solution. Like when logging in it's in a custom browser window or something and I don't have access to saved passwords. You guys are devs, do better. *Tried again after a few months and the experience hasnt gotten any better. There are no options to open articles in a preferred web browser. You're stuck using the built in browser that has 0 features. You cant even share the url of the article directly. Will be deleting my account.
