I found a Way!!! I have not been able to reliably receive text messages on my Alphagear Deltapro from my Samsung S22 Ultra. I changed the sms texting app from the basic sms app to the RCS app (the one with the two speech bubbles. Now I have received and been able to read all text messages. Update: The watch quit receiving text notifications again from my Google text app. Fussing with the app(s) and the watch but not holding out much hope.

Mostly good I've had the watch for a few days now. It seems to have good battery life, it's very stylish, and it feels comfortable in my wrist. I've tracked health data, sleep pattern, etc with ease. The 2 very bug bugs in experiencing are the setting for vibrate or ring continues to reset to vibrate and ring when I want vibrate only. The other is the temperature unit of measure continues to reset to Celsius when I want Fahrenheit.

The watch worked fine for a few months. Now, after setting it on my dresser & not wearing it while I went on an extended vacation, (6 weeks) I come back & watch is DEAD. Tried putting it on the charge cable & nothing. NADA... ZILCH... What's up with it quitting on me while not even wearing it? Tried leaving it on the charge cable overnight, & still zero charge. Nothing in manual covers resetting the device, or even where to go to troubleshoot. Why? If I could give the device zero stars I would.

Good App and Stable. This is a good app for tracking and customizing watch faces. Sleep doesn't know when to track for night shift workers that sleep during the day however. It would be nice to see an app finally do this. Maybe like a setting where "I sleep between 11:00am and 7:00pm" would be useful so it knows when to track off-hours sleep patterns. EDIT: The app doesn't show text messages from the Google Messages app. If I restart the watch, it will for one, but then nothing else.

Like many of the reviewers, the contacts don't sync correctly and I only get a bunch of random ones from my phone. I can't add new ones to the app, either. When I try to edit the ones it lets me have, it goes back to the list of randomized contacts and doesn't let me edit them in any of them. The developer needs to address these issues ASAP because this aggravating to no end.

Overall pretty good even though I question some of the results such as blood pressure monitoring. It reads the same result every time and it's wrong. So I now question everything else. But for a 20 dollar watch it's hard to complain as it is rather feature rich. Quite honestly it has more features than my samsung gear classic that was 300 bucks when I bought it.

It runs my watch battery down too fast! It keeps turning on "Email" and "Others" even when I turn them off! I already have "Gmail" toggled on; why is "Email" on? It's redundant. It's not like I have Outlook. I do like that I can customize my watch face with a personal photo, and the weather is actually accurate! :) Update 5/9/24: Now it's not even counting my steps! It stays on 0! 😡 DO BETTER!

Needs better watch faces for Alphagear Raptor Pro tactical smartwatch and let the user choose which apps to send notifications to watch from the phone. Example: I want to allow my MS Outlook to send me notifications for work purposes, and I can't do that unless I enable all apps from the "Other" option. This allows all nofications from my phone, which is annoying. I don't want my Google Maps GPS sending me alerts to my watch every 5 seconds while I drive. The fitness aspect of the app is great!

I really like the watch. Seems the app is missing some options. I would like to see an option that has the ability to lock the watch face you have chosen so that the knob on the watch itself can't be bumped to change it. Everytime I check my watch is a different watch face. More options on how the time and date read on the watch and their format would be nice to. The face that goes with a photo you choose reads backwards for the date. It'll say 2103 for March 3rd instead of 03/21.

Like most of the reviews on this product and the app. They work for a little bit until syncing issues occur and you have to reboot everything. Even doing that it still doesn't correct the syncing issues. For example phone calls notifications and definitely texting notifications do not come through. I even tried the default SMS app on the phone hoping that was the issue but to no avail it didn't do the job. I am speculating that it is a software issue on their end. I followed the instructions

The app is extremely terrible. The watch looks and feels fantastic, but the app is atrocious. No matter what it doesn't sync contacts correctly. It syncs old contacts somehow and maybe a quarter of my current contacts. Also, no matter what settings I mess with, I have 0 ability to receive text messages. Again, the watch is great, but they spent 0 time working on the app. Unfortunately they go hand in hand, so it's not worth keeping the watch with such a terrible app

It is easy to use but does not sync contacts correctly. The watch is a mile ahead of the app, and other fitness tracking apps are worlds beyond this one. I can track a menstrual cycle, but not medication. I guess it serves its basic function, but nothing that sets it apart from other apps. Had a bug needing fixed related to water intake (new issue). Maybe if the app didn't force close for no apparent reason, it would be an improvement.

Works great when it actually connects. The setup instructions don't actually match up with the apps I have. I have a Samsung Note 20, but the little video they show and the written instructions don't help at all. So as a result, my watch only gives me notifications for a day or two, then I have to unpair it from Bluetooth and start all over. I never had this issue with my fitbit, but I cracked the face of it because of the nature of the work I do. A little disappointed, this could've been great.

The app loses connection to the watch often. The readings are inaccurate. According to the app, my blood pressure is threw the roof. Tested my blood pressure with an actual cuff and it's perfect. The weather temp. is always wrong. The water reminder sometimes works. Bpm may be correct, but with every other inaccuracy I don't trust it. You have several sport modes that all do the same thing. The app doesn't do anything with the distinction that I was riding a bike or using free weights.

Overall the app is fine. it's simple and easy to use. I like being able to put my own pics on the watch face. The 2 main problems for me tho are: I cannot get the contacts to work right. I've tried everything. It brings up random and old ones that I cant sync to the watch anyways, but, if a contact from my phone calls me, their name shows on the watch. 🤷‍♀️. The blood pressure is WAY off, like 20+ too high top number, and almost always around the same numbers everytime.

The app is honestly the worst app I have ever "tried" to use. It is such a shame too, because the watch is great, but it is useless as a smart watch, due to the poor app software. You can't even sync your contacts to the watch, and the contacts that are on the app, I have no idea where they came from. You can't sync just your text messaging app, or certain email apps, unless you select to receive "other" apps notifications, which means you receive all notifications from your, SO FRUSTRATING!

Overall, still the best "cheap" watch I've owned, but as far as the app, Contacts in particular are a pain in the butt. After moving contacts around from account to account, I finally got Contacts loaded, but three (3) days later, my watch reset (and I don't know why) and now I can't get those exact same Contacts to show up in the selectable list. Between Samsung, Google, and local (on-the-phone), I have yet to figure out why the ones that to show up do, and the ones that don't don't.

Honestly? I only have this because I got a cheap watch to track my sleep for like $10 bucks. It's okay, and seems to track decently. It doesn't let you look at details for past nights' sleep, you can only see hour total not breakdowns like you do for the current day. The water tracking system notices can't be changed, so it you're on night shift then you're screwed I guess. So many typos. Redeemable quality is you can use any image to make a watch face...

Basic but works well. This app syncs with My Fitness Pal and all of it's off shoot apps like Map My Walk, etc. Stats seem fairly accurate, like sleep hours. I don't need that info up to the minute. This app/ watch is not meant for medical usage so slight inaccuracies is fine for my usage. There is one annoying problem. This app won't let me (in my profile) choose my gender. I can only choose male. Really strange.

Very good watch. Okay app. Resets often, erasing saved info. Disconnects from Bluetooth randomly. Edit: Since update, smartwatch will no longer connect to the app. There are also several features missing from the options. The watch says it's trying to connect but it never fully does. Really quite a shame because it was a really good watch.
