Very well laid out, simple user interface and aesthetically beautiful. This embodies the "less is more" ethos and excels as a result. Create your character spell list from the exhaustive D&D 5e library and you're done. Easy access and no fumbling about when you're at the table. I would love for there to be a section in the spell card to put my own notes as I like to abbreviate the mechanics of a spell for quick play. I'd buy you a beer for that. In fact, make that an option as well.

Spectacular, my favourite spellbook app out of all the ones I've tried. The single thing it's missing is a way to make customised or homebrew spells.

Excellent character planning and time saving app for D&D 5e. Some of the features are *somewhat* hidden.

Fantastic app, my one thing that I noticed is that in the informational area there is no mention of the Eldritch Knight or the Arcane Trickster, I did go look in the wizard section since those would be governed by nearly identical mechanics, but I saw no reference there.

Love it. Very easy to use, many filters to find exactly what you want. Prepared, known, and favourite spells are all separated, and each is unique to each character you have a spell list for and allows you to track your spell slots. Would be cool if you could activate expanded spell lists from subclasses. Currently, the "divine word" spell isn't correct and very confusing.

Perfect imo, just what you need. Simple and easy to use.

As a DM, this app is a life saver. Now, only if they had a character creator app, too, then I'd be golden

It's simply better than the rest! Multiple character spell list storage, not an add in sight, detailed spell filter. I only wish they made more apps, based on this ones quality.

Super useful. I use this for my dnd campaigns and I absolutely love that you can add your own spells.

Best app I've tried. It has everything you need for spellcasting and can have multiple characters. The layout is easy to use. I do wish there was an option to change the background to something flat (white, black, or beige) instead of the fake paper, since the paper texture can be difficult to read.

I love the app, but after the update it's been more difficult to navigate. Example, I'm a cleric of the trickster domain with wood elf as a race. I am now unable to have these selections as a filter in the spell list and know automatically which was in my realm of possibilities. I had to reference the phb to rebuild after reinstalling the app. Another downside is I can no longer keep track of spells used in each spell level while playing and they are not clealy separated. Unless missingsomething

The app is generally fine, but I find it crashes a lot requiring a reinstall every few weeks because of "Error loading character profile". I currently can't fix this particular error, but usually it's only a momentary problem. Filters could be better and more nuanced, but other spellbook apps I've used haven't had as many of D&D 5e's spells as this one.

This app has every spell. It is laggy to maneuver through the app. I don't see a point in having a refresh function. The spell slots button blocks your ability to prepare or mark "known" the bottom spell. You need to manually set the filter by level first, then alphabetical; when that should be default. You need to make sure that you've selected all classes AFTER adding subclass specific spells, since they may not be standard class choices (to see all spells). Could be more intuitive, but great.

This app is really nice once you figure out its small quirks with the filters. The only things that I think could be improved is adding in subclasses (when I was adding my twilight cleric in I had to go to the main list a lot) and the backgrounds that give you an expanded spell list such as the ones from Strixhaven or Ravnica, and I could not find any functionality for adding in homebrewed spells. These are pretty nitpicky reasons, but on the whole it works very well, hence 4 stars.

Clunky, kind of hard to use. It would be nice if things are laid out in a simple way, but filtering things is a chore. Not sure why there needs to be so much going on when a simple list of spells, easily organized, would be way more effective. Currently, it's not displaying ANY spells, and I have no idea why (probably something to do with the awful filters). Other than all that, it's somewhat useful.

It's not a bad app, but I hope it gets redone a bit. I would like a change in organization, maybe organized by spell level, instead of alphabetically. Or you can do both. (Just my opinion) Some of the filters don't work well, some spells for certain classes don't show up when messing with the filters.

It's a decent app. I love that it has the spells from the newest books (so many apps don't). But the grey font on the parchment style background is hard on the eyes. It really should be a lighter background with black text to increase the contrast. There's a version update notification about dark mode settings being adjusted to increase constant, but I can't find that setting anywhere in the app. I also wish that it included a builder for counters.

Good app, easy to use. Does everything it should, and almost everything I would like it to. As for that last bit though it is somewhat important. The problem is simple. There is no way to add your homebrewed spells to the book, or 3rd party spells for that matter. In essence this app needlessly limits itself in the way all walled gardens limit themselves. Making it only potentially useful, not certainly useful.

Get this instead of D&D beyond. Genuinely the best way to organize and look up spells on the fly, and easy to use. You can also make custom spell lists for multiple characters which is real convenient. Note to the devs, There is an error in the Contagion spell. It says that the disease in Contagion activates if the melee spell attack hits, but it shouldn't activate unless that creature also fails three saving throws. However this is the only error I have seen so far in 2 years of using this app.

This is a fine spellbook app, but I have a few complaints. For one, there are certain absent filters I feel should be included, like "Subclass," "Saving Throw," and "Damage Type." For two, the explanation for the "Royalty" component is absent from the "components" section of the info menu. The rest are mostly nitpicks about design (like separating the levels of the spells with a header), or ideas that could be implemented to improve the app (such as the ability to create your own custom spells).
