Technology exists that is capable of transferring memories to these robots.

But with limited space, new memories will gradually overwrite the old.

To prevent the emotions in human memories from fading away, the robots resorted to converting the emotions to music, and storing them in a place called Cytus.

The robots use these songs to experience human emotion and dream that souls exists in each of them...

I used to play this back when I was in high school. It was a fun app to pass the time. So I downloaded it again to have some fun. In the beginning I had no issues but after I purchased the full version it keep closing for no reason. I couldn't even enjoy the game since it would randomly close. Really need to fix that bug.

I've been playing this game probably since 2012, in that time it has aged incredibly well, both this game and the sequel are excellent must plays, I do find the music in this game to be amazing, which truelly says a lot about it as a mobile game, it really takes you to another place unlike any other rhythm game. I always find myself coming back to this game time and time again over the years, if you're looking for an S tier rhythm game, you've found the one, Cyrus 2 is also amazing, and newer.

This game is AWESOME! I love that you pay one price for a premium version, and THAT'S IT! No microtransactions, no excessive grinding, just play the game. Some chapters have a paywall, but you pay $2, you get a premium version with 100+ songs. AND IT'S SO MUCH FUN! The gameplay is actually touchscreen-centric. Quick question, have you guys thought about adding a way for people to import and chart their own songs? Because that. Would. Be. AMAZING!

Great app! Worth the $2 for the full version to remove wait time & ads. I've played 8 songs so far. I was looking for a rhythm game that played like Elite Beat Agents or osu!, & Cytus is pretty close! The big difference I can tell so far is that in Cytus, you often must press 2 buttons simultaneously, which is difficult while holding my phone, especially with my headphones plugged in. That's one complaint, & another complaint is the HUGE file size. Thus, 4 stars. Still, great game so far!

I have been playing this game since 2013 over 3 different phones. It's one of my absolute favorites games, so I'm really sad to have to give a less than 5 star review :( but as I've seen a lot of other users review, the app has been crashing continuously. I can usually get through one song before it crashes. I am playing on a Galaxy Note 10, and I know I played it earlier on this new phone and did NOT have the crashing issue. I hope this can be resolved soon because I miss playing

I've always been a big fan of every game Rayark has ever come out with. I've bought the full game for this, Cytus 2 and Implosion, and I've never been disappointed until recently. I've upgraded to a galaxy note 8 and I'm no longer able to play cytus. It crashes every time I'm in the middle of a song and sends me to my phones home screen. Still love the game, but I wish I could play :/

I used to play this game a lot and was addicted. But lately after I got a new phone, it has been consistently crashing in the middle of songs, I haven't been able to complete any for months. I really love this game, it's my fav rhythm game after cytus 2. But PLEASE fix the crashing issue!

This game was good until I bought the full version. When I bought the full version, It started to not register direct taps which frustrated me because it ruined perfect combos. Even after I restarted the game and my phone, it would still do the same thing. I would rather deal with the 30 second timer than what the game is putting me through now. Being patient is gonna save you money.

Best rhythm game ever! I downloaded and unlocked all the songs and found the hidden songs. When the new update came about, I redownload the game again to play. Superb! The music and gameplay are amazing! I love this game! The only issue is that it's heavy, so I had to uninstall after finishing all the songs. The company does wonderful quality games overall and def recommended those too!

One of the best music/rhythm games I've ever played. The songs are all beautiful and catchy, and the gameplay is easy to catch on to. My only complaint is the fact that after buying the expansion for the extra levels, I still needed to pay an extra dollar for each song after unlocking the chapters. If I would've known I wouldn't have spent the money. But other than that, awesome game

So I'ma start with saying that this game is awsome. When you play this you will probably figure out that holing your device to hit the "objects" on your screen is pretty difficult, I recommend that you put your device down (on your knees, or another surface) to play it and you will see that it's much easier, it takes some getting used to but it works.

I lost all the progress I made 8 years ago. Can't blame the devs, I stop playing this game for 7 years and decide to pick it up again of course the cloud save system gonna change in all that years and the way to transfer won't stayed forever. But I still have a little hope to get all my progress back. Good game otherwise. Very good game.

I only have good things to say about this game, and trust me when I say I am a very critical person. The game is easy to get into, and it's normal increase in difficulty is nice and slow, however you can jump in wherever you want in the game, or go straight for hard mode if you wish. The controls are the best of any mobile rythym game that I have played, period. It can be played on phone or tablet, and the gameplay works excellently on both, and both are different experiences. I highly recommend.

I have been playing this game since 2016, and though the app has had some issues ( I've also been on a variety of phones with varying quality so some of that may have been used error) I love it. It's something I'll forget I have for months and then I pick it up and hours will go by as I keep telling myself "just one more I know I can get it." This was definitely my gateway into rhythm games and is my favorite.

One of the best rhythm games that I have played, good soundtracks and gorgeous arts. Working good on my phone so far. Quick update: it's says that it can run offline, but if try to play the game offline, a pop up asking for authentication will appear every time, and you can't close it. This makes the game unplayable offline, I would improve the rate if this problem gets fixed in the next update.

I don't want to agree with an app discription, but Cytus is THE BEST rythm game on a phone. Can't argue. This game raised the bar of mobile games. I never imaged a touch-screen can bring so much difference to the genre. This is truely a game that should only be enjoyed on a touch-screen. It stands out from all those "I can't use mouse & keyboard on a phone so I settled for this" ports of PC and console games.

I've been playing Cytus for as long as I can remember and even bought Cytus 2. After not playing this one for awhile, I decided to come back for a bit of nostalgia. Unfortunately, Cytus crashes at random times and quite often. The most I've been able to do is two songs before the screen blacks out and closes the app. I really love this game and I'm just kinda sad that I'm not able to actually play it.

First off, the game crashes almost every time I play it. Secondly, what I'm mad about the most is that I can't play it offline. It's a good game with awesome music, but don't say it's offline when you can't play it properly without wifi. When it's offline, all I can do is listen to the music instead of actually playing it. Every time I play it offline, this stupid thing pops up, saying something about gameplay worsening if you don't have internet, and something blocks the screen during songs.

This is a killer rhythm game that offers variable difficulty. Levels are set up to give you transferable skills to adapt to playing on harder difficulties Pricing x/5: Playstore membership, I would happily support the developers. Difficulty to pick up 3/5: requires hand eye coordination, though eases you into the genre Fun 5/5: Easy to pick up, hard to put down. I'm going to go back to playing the game now. If this review helped, please rate it. Thanks.

I absolutely love it! I've always loved rhythm based games (Stepmania, Frets on Fire, Rhythm Heaven, ect). And I've always played on the hardest difficulty levels! But Cytus gives me one hell of a run for my money on any of the only two difficulty levels on here! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 Get more song packs, and make it easier to transfer data from one upgraded-phone-to-another.
