Complicated junctions are a big issue for this app. We need clearer instructions, like perhaps a white arrow pointing to the exact trail at the junction. Very often, we end up taking the wrong turn. Also, the arrows on the trail map are almost invisible. (They're) black on a dark green background, so you can't even see which direction the trail is going. Much more work needs to be done to assist the rider at junctions, bearing in mind that we're usually travelling quite quickly.

I paid for the yearly subscription a few months back. Now app is telling to unlock Cyclers Plus for more options. I've send an email 3 times with no response about this issue. Edit: Complete BS. No reply email. And yes I checked my spam box. Not a peep from these guys. This is literally the third time I've had my Cyclers Plus reverted back to basic. Complete waste of money. You're better using Mapquest than paying extra just to be logged out of the features you need to be cyclist commuter.

One major issue I've found with the path finding algorithm is that it doesn't seem to consider how safe the street crossings are. For example, it may give me a route that is rated 98% bike friendly that stays almost exclusively on low-stress residential roads. But connecting from one residential road to the next on the recommended route will require me to cross four lanes of traffic in the middle of arterial major arterial roads without a traffic light or even a crosswalk.

This is very cool, I am using the free version currently. It can map out different routes including bike friendly rides depending on terrain and distance. As well as recording your rides average speed, fastest and slowest speeds including inclines and declines. When I rIde more frequently and further distance I'm buying the pro version.

I needed to find a reliable navigation aid to guide me from Paris to Versaille, avoiding main roads. I came across “cyclers” and although inputting the “from & to” details was a little difficult I soon sorted it out. I am not technically competent. Having practiced for about 10 minutes I got the hang of it and it guided me brilliantly through Paris, on cycle lanes, back to Versaille. It then guided me from Versaille back to Dieppe via Vernon on the Seine………..I continue to use this app.

Doesn't work. I downloaded the app. The first trip I tried to plan it avoids trails even though I selected gravel ride. I placed a pin on the trail around the reservoir, which is marked on the map, and it refuses to take the trail. This is THE best part of the ride i I'm planning. It also avoids the trail that helps get out to the reservoir. When I put a pin on that trail, it only uses part of it. Then, it routes me through the neighborhood. Google Maps is better. My Fit Bit will track my ride.

I think the app is good for finding routes but it definitely needs improvements with routing. Need something where you can change the route in real time I've had a few routes try to take me across a busy road just to turn around and go back over the road again and I couldn't really edit it in real time I just had to not go that way it's a bit annoying to not be able to adjust it in real time so that way it's saved for your next ride

Can give you some OK routes but failed both on the free tier and paid at getting me off pavement. The gravel setting, even with the paid option of "prefer unpaved", gave me routes which were 90-100% paved at almost any distance. Even then, the one with the most unpaved miles was the lowest match score... May give it another go in a year or so but as of today, it's rather useless considering shared routes available on other apps.

For route planning Cyclers outshines rivals like Strava, Google Maps, and Komoot. I ride in a bicycle-hostile area with heavy traffic and no dedicated lanes. This app goes above and beyond to uncover hidden neighborhood routes that other apps simply miss. It's like finding a secret passage while others are stuck in a traffic nightmare. You have full control to customize your routes and preferences effortlessly. I highly recommend Cyclers for a safe and enjoyable ride!

I purchased the 24h access for 'hero' features, wanted to know how they work. I was charged however never was able to use voice navigation... Message 'for heros only' was popping on my screen every time I pressed the voice navigation button. Sent a couple of emails to Urban Cyclers and never got any response... Very disappointed... Thank you for your kind reply and 1 month free of charge. After the update all features work great, voice navigation works as it should. I give the app 4 stars now

Have been using for about a month and lovvvvvve the routing options. You can't get this level of bike friendly routes on Google map at all. I feel safe using this app and where it wants to take me. The whole giveaway point system makes the experience totally unique and gets me wanting to get out and ride so I can win stuff. Would like to see an American world selector, but totally get it. "Rest of the world" is kinda cool though. Cheeers!!! Long ride edit: seemed to kill my battery wayy fast

A great app for biking. Gives lots of safe bike routes with very clear directions. My only complaint: too many time wasting questions about ride rating, save routes, and other annoying factors that really annoy me when all I want is to ride the bike. Otherwise, the best for finding bike routes, just bike routes. Very few whistles and bells: just safe and cool roads for biking for just about anywhere.

I had high hopes for this app as an ebike cyclist. I loved how could curate your route, take scenic rides, avoid the things most hate about cycling like steep hills, heavy traffic, smoother terrain, etc. But it absolutely failed in operation. The arrows are impossible to see and direction is very difficult trying to figure out. It lacks all simple navigation convenience that other gps apps offer. I ended up crashing on my bike trying to navigate my route. As is, not even worth for free!

Overall good, it's updated most of the time with the current trails. Sometimes trails don't match with the type of trail the app think it is but usually not a problem. Better than most of the cycling apps. It's major problem is editing routes, no simple way to do it and if done later navigation can be chaotic. It would be awesome to have a Strava link.

Can be helpful to find less traffic-heavy ways through the city but kind of annoying for planning your own routes. There isn't a great way to create your own loops - around parks etc - because the app thinks it's smarter than you. And if it's a matter of just adding waypoints, it makes more sense to just use Google maps (because it's free and does it better). I really want to love this app, but it just isn't worth the money in comparison

This is the best biking map app I've ever used. Their team continues to make improvements on the app. I'm impressed that the app adjusts the suggested routes based on user preferences such as desired hilliness, auto traffic, and terrain. I am looking forward to the future ability that would allow the user to avoid certain streets. I'd like the ability to avoid skechy alleys. I love that adjusts the suggested route on the fly when the user goes off the original planned route. Thanks!

I loved this app and was so excited to purchase it. I had the trial version and the turn by turn navigation worked flawlessly. Now that I have purchased it for $29.99/yr, the navigation stopped working, won't load or play. I have reached out to support several times and they do not respond. Technology is only good if it can be supported. I am so frustrated by the lack of support that I am going to cancel my subscription, hope to get a refund and purchase Komoot. U could use Whatsapp for calls.

So far so good! I love the ability to set your preferences and it giving you a match score with several options (and the fastest one regardless of preferences). I haven't seen this on other apps. Also you have the ability to set a distance and it will recommend routes around you that match your route preferences and distance. Looking forward to fully testing it out (I got a flat a quarter of the way through my first route with it yesterday)

I'm starting to think I'll just have to keep using Google Maps and Google Fit to track my ebike adventures (both of which are free). I don't mind paying a one-time fee for a good app, but I'm not interested at all in paying a subscription forever just to use an app on my hardware and data plan. Unfortunately that's the model that most apps (but especially tracking apps) seem to be adopting. Just because "everyone" is going with that model doesn't mean it's good/right. Uninstalling.

Great at mapping trips out, love that it takes terrain and traffic into consideration. Wish the map had a compass and the ability to reorient quickly, the map seems to always be facing where it wants. Also wish it was easier to add a destination while keeping tracking active so I don't have to track a new trip just to go somewhere else.
