This is a pretty good app. I haven't used many different apps but Cyclemeter does a good job of tracking your ride. I really love being able to share your rides with friends and being able to see their rides in real time. My wife has it on her phone, too, even though she doesn't ride. It is a good safety feature, too. If I need my wife to come get me she can tap on my location and get turn by turn directions to where I am.

The app is great, but the developers need to add a user account system so that your data is automatically synced to their servers and isn't dependent on your device. My Android phone malfunctioned and I lost all my rides and my paid Elite plan because the data was not saved on cloud. Edit on 02 September 2020 after getting a power meter: this app is insane! The amount of features they've got are incredible for the price and are perfectly suited for training.

Great app and had everything I'm looking for but a few things are totally off. I just cycled and in the splits screen my highest speed was 70mph, which just wasn't possible. But in the Laps/intervals screen my highest speed was 38mph. In the stopwatch my highest speed was 45mph. So, I have absolutely no idea what my speed were. Also, the stop detection doesn't seem to stop the clock when you stop. I have no idea how to set timers for interval training. Love it but needs a bit of work.

Best bike computer app out there! I have used cyclemeter for 3 years now it's my number 1 cycling app. I use it as a bike computer but it does a lot more. You can edit the info you want to see on the "Stopwatch" screen. I have 2 stopwatch screens running the 1st with lots of info the 2nd with speed, cadence, time only. I pay the £10 a year for the pro version. The only 1 bad thing is on android you can't have the app on several devices signed in to the same account.

The number of crashes was way too high. App UI is outdated and not suited to "modern" phones (OLED). Burn in is an issue and the developers don't care about this, even after presenting ideas for this since the beginning of the subscription. Cancelled it and moved to Garmin. This App appeared interesting in the beginning but falls extremely short of its potential. Today 2nd of jully 2024 I revisited the App and it is still the same. Shame for the team for not making any progress.

No navigation, non intuitive UX/UI, useless. what should I do with routes, how to import a route? create a route? no answers..

It didn't work for me. I allowed all the permissions in the apps settings on my phone but it didn't accurately track the kms I rode. After looking at the map of my ride it showed me crossing the river about 10 times when I only crossed once. The app works for some people and it's free so give it a shot.

It works well and I have had no problems with it since I've purchased it. It gives me all the information I need and the ability to upload data to the internet so I can pull up maps and other data from my rides. Also, the price is reasonable.

Only using the free section but seems good. I know the paid version has a lot of information and seems great as a friend has. it.

lots of interesting configurations however since upgrading to newer Samsung S22 the bike cadance readings and graph no longer work even though it is listed as a connected blue tooth device in the settings

A good app that tracks what needs to be tracked. this app sometimes randomly turns on the flashlight of my phone, which is strange. and when I'm out of cell range, the GPS tracking stops. over all I do recommend this app.

It is the best app I've found so far for tracking my rides even so there are many small annoyances. The last I checked the manual was nearly non-existent which made it tough to learn. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to analyze my rides on my real computer. A while back I asked for a loud audible alarm if it lost connection with the Bluetooth sensor. That would have saved me from losing a $70 wahoo sc.

I used to 😍 this app, but now that it's taken the features I loved and packaged them into a subscription service I'm less than thrilled. Nevertheless, if the app works flawlessly and streamlines an aspect of my fitness routine, I can make a case that it's worth the 10 bucks/year But it isn't doing that. I had hoped the fitness activity would automatically with MyfitnessPal, and just generally be better than when I used it in 2013-2015, but it isn't. And I keep getting an API ERROR ALERT.

My experience with this app has been poor so far . I use the Motorola watch for 10 years until they no longer supported that great device . Motorola is known for making poor product decisions. But this app just does not match up. I have hit speeds of over 60 mph which is impossible. Not accurate on splits . Just not what I have grown used to with my previous device which was way better than any Garmin product I used . One would think technology would get better with time....

A great application, does what it is supposed to do. the free version is good as a simple ride tracking app but the paid version is better when paired with sensors. Their customer service is the best i have ever had to deal with. they respond within 24 hours. my most recent question came on Saturday before Memorial day and they responded within 6 hours. a few emails back and forth until mid morning the next day and i was all fixed up (had recently switched from iphone to samsung). Best service.

Connecting to a Stages bike makes this app unusable most of the time. I think it's doing too much on the main thread as the UI freezes and you literally can't click or do anything. I'm on a pixel 7 pro (tried on two different devices in fact). I'm happy to help debug to fix the issue and change my review. Out of the 7-8 times I've connected to different bikes I was only able to record one ride properly.

MyFitnessPal app removed the ability to sync with Cyclemeter. This is an amazing app otherwise. I would be happy to pay even $15 annually to have my cycling data sync directly to Google Fit. RideWithGPS is not as customizable or intuitive as this app, but it syncs with Google Fit and the free version is good enough. So I regret to have to uninstall this app.

It would not sync with the DuoTrap S bike sensor. First, customer service was great. Got it to pair. Was up and running. Had some connectivity issues between phone, sensor and app. It's just more info than I need and want to deal with at this point. Went back to my free cycling app. Sometimes less is more.

I've used Cyclemeter for nearly 5 years, across 3 devices (iOS & Android), and it's been amazing on all of them. There are a bunch of reasons why I love it: • THE BEST support I've ever encountered, for any product or app. Super quick, friendly, helpful, and willing to answer weird questions. • Unlike some other apps, it lets you define custom activities (I've used it for biking, running, walking, hiking, inline skating, and moped rides) and track all of them both individually and in combination—this was a big deal for me when I started working out, because I didn't feel like I was being shamed for "just" walking every day! • Tons of export options, including automatic post-workout sharing/export, Strava/MyFitnessPal sharing, and bulk downloading of data for preservation/backup. • The "Plans" feature is incredibly powerful, if slightly counter-intuitive; I just finished a 5K running plan with it, but you could just as easily use it for interval training, calisthenics-style workouts, whatever. • Fully customizable audio feedback including pace warnings, distance markers, interval changes, etc. etc. So yeah, one of the best apps I've ever used. Thanks, & keep up the good work!

I just downloaded and set up this app. The premium version is only 10 bucks a year and has everything I want in a cycling/fitness app. speed, distance, altitude, cadence, heart rate, etc. It has so many workout options. Cycling, running, skiing, etc. It connected to my wahoo cadence monitor and my iGPSPORT heart rate monitor immediately. There are so many features and so easy to use. Love it.
