It's made redundant the one feature that makes Samsung wallet useful. On my phone I swipe up to open the wallet, but that no longer accepts certain credit cards. Instead the cards are saved on this garbage app, which doesn't appear when you swipe up and trying to change the settings so that you can access your cards easily is not straightforward.

Paid plan offerings are almost useless. Most of the people would be using it for the cashback. The plan with cashback charges 10 EUR per month .. it doesn't really matter if you get 6 retailers or 60 as you need to spend at least 1000 EUR per month in total to break even. That's too much! It would make more sense to charge 1 to 2 EUR per retailer as optional service for all tiers and let the users decide how many they want to pay for.

This app has way too much marketing notifications! And there's no option to turn off specific categories of notifications (like marketing ones). You can either turn off all notifications (even the ones about payments which you generally don't want to turn off), or keep all notifications. It's a very shady tech design choice to not have notification categories, and to not allow people to opt-out of certain categories. That's why only 3 out of 5 stars. Please fix it!

I have been on the wait-list the US launch since basically the announcement date. I got an email inviting me to beta early access but when I tried to sign up I kept getting an error message when typing in my address. Contacted support and although they were quick to respond they said the error was being caused because they were unable to open up accounts for people in my state right now. Very disappointed.

Soon no more free ATM withdrawals with the standard card. SO it becomes useless for my usage. The Terms just changed, I received an email and they don't even mention it in the summary email! You have to dig down and read all the terms and pricing. I feel scammed! Be careful and read well the terms before using it

Updated review June 29, 2023: It just doesn't work. Still no resolution to my problem, going on 4 months later. Just stunningly bad for a fintech company. One star. Original review March 8, 2023: As of now the app does not work at all and you cannot use the card without the app. I actually had my card get declined because of this the other day - embarrassing!

My new go to credit card. Love that I can use it for all my mastercards or discover, awesome metal card upgrade I got for free, great go back in time feature. Plus you get an extra 1% cash back for 6 months on top of your other credit cards cash back reward programs. What a deal! It's been working great for me.

Update: please followup with my ticket. My issue is still unsolved. Please :( I opened an account and they charged me a 10 euros subscription fee. I wrote an email to them and they promised to refund and downgrade my subscription to free one. Then they asked me to confirm my birth "year" and zip code. I confirmed it. After 10 days they wrote back that the birth year is wrong and I have to confirm again! I wrote back ALL the info I entered during registration, like my address, my full birthday, my phone number, and I am communicating with them through my email which I entered during registration. I wrote that I am sure when I was born and what I have entered. They didn't reply again even though all my information are correct and my request is to be on a free tier! Long story short, more than a month has been past since I registered and asked them for refund. They have not refunded and soon they Will charge for the next subscription fee. When I reply, it takes them between a week and 10 days to reply, if they reply! I lost my money and now the headache of going to my bank to place a charge back and changing my master card (which by the way cost money) so they won't be able to automatically deduct a subscription fee. People, this is Curve's business model. Be careful. You fall in a trap which will be difficult to come out. There are much better companies out there like Revolut.

I can't believe this service is free. absolutely amazing and the go back in time feature changes my card strategy. I have been favoring Mastercard now. I had some issues where charges were getting declined if they were large (<300) which is irritating, but other than that it's flawless. Huge fan.

Great concept by letting you integrate all your cards in one. This is the way to go specially when there are so many online bankings available. As long as I know, no other company offer this function. and every now and then, they introduce a new function inside the app, like anti-embracement, where you can choose few backup cards, if the first one rejects the payment.

this is a great app, support is also great, i contacted them for a couple of times, always got great answers timely; as a new user at free tier for a month so far, i set the reward retailers randomly in the beginning, but it turns out to be very useful, i asked if can help me change, they said there were only 3 retailers can be set and last for 3 months to be able change again, or can pay £50 to upgrade to Black; i asked again forgiveness to new users like me, and they did! this is great experie

I got this originally to avoid foreign transaction fees, then just kept using it after my trip as my default card for the extra cashback. But at the end of last year it randomly stopped giving me cashback, and now I am completely unable to log into the app. I put in the PIN and it just refreshes and asks again. Changed the PIN and didn't work. App was buggy before, now it's unusable

I've been working with support for the last 3 weeks with zero progress made, the Curve Card stopped working and began to decline all my charges no matter what card I had selected. Their "curve credit" creature has a lot of problems, their reporting on it is terrible. I didn't even know it took a charge until a month later because the app wouldn't show a balance. Then Curve locked my card use because a $15 balance that I didn't know existed wasn't paid, their support is slow.

UPDATE: They are removing the one defining feature of this service and putting it under a monthly subscription. Shameful [Old review] Fantastic service. Initially i thought the convenience of carrying 1 card was enough. But the automatic currency conversion when abroad saved me so many times, as does the move function between cards. Not to mention less hassle of it gets stolen.

The US version of the curve card was a credit card not a debit card which is highly disappointing. What a waste of a credit hard pull. The app is excruciatingly slow and buggy. For instance, Curve keeps asking me to verify my email, but everytime I try, the app keeps trying to change my email. I still need to test the card but if it is as disappointing as the app, this card and app will be trashed.

The app is filled with bugs. It constantly closes, you have to click the same prompt multiple times to move forward. Applying for the card is a pain. My profile is bugged and it can't move in the application. Customer service is asking me the same question multiple times after I sent them proof that it wasn't the issue. Overall, better off to save yourself the headache until this company figures out the operational and technical problems. If launch is this terrible, imagine the day to day.

The app freezes at "join waitlist" has a black bar box at bottom of screen but clicking it does nothing. I know this is a great app as I have several friends who highly recommend so I'm not gonna give a bad review. I wait until I get issued resolved and will edit to include their customer support. Edit less than 24 hrs and Curve responded!! Got me squared away in no time. 5 stars!!

Curve used to be such an amazing app. I would say I was a very early adopter of the app, loved the concept, loaded all my cards and used it as often as I could. Over the past few years I've seen Curve become one of those companies that care more about the profits then the care given to consumers. I used to have about 9 cards on there, and now every time I go to add a new card due to one expiring I'm being told I've maxed out funding cards and I'm being forced to upgrade my free plan to a paidone

Interesting idea but terrible product. I signed up last year for the extra 1% on mobile purchases but have had nothing but issues since. It took forever to get approved and get the physical card. Then this summer they charged me a temporary hold that triggered a late payment notice and penalty. It's been 6 weeks and they still have not resolved the issue. Not worth trusting your money to a company which such poor customer support.

Great idea but does not seem to work. The app keeps resetting and asks for my details and to add a card after I have already added cards. The only fix is to uninstall and re set up, but then the magic links don't work so cant get back in. Have only succeeded in 2 transactions. All others are rejected by the banks. SHAME, its a great idea whose time has not come. Perhaps Curve or someone else will get it right one day.
