I have never seen a more cohesive implementation of systems in any mobile game. Theorycrafting is a real possibility that results in even common heroes being relevant: there's no "right answer" across all game modes. The art (especially battle backdrops) is beautiful and detailed while staying accessible. The UI is similarly clean and tidy. The monetization is powerful but never feels necessary... beyond the $5 for a starter pack or two. The devs are highly active and honest on Discord. My only wish is for some backstory on the unit cards, and perhaps a 'retry' button on dungeon bosses, just to skip the slightly inconvenient trip back to the menu.

The game overall is really fun and the incremental gameplay works well. The only suggestions I would have is to not require players to manually upgrade shops (auto-collect and bonuses). The other is breaking up power levels in the arena some; having a 25k opponent and a 2mil opponent in one spin seems broken.

I want to be completely honest. Keep in mind that I've been playing for less than a year. I've been playing ever since the epidemic first hit severely and it's been a pretty nice "time waster", but I say that in the the most positive ways possible. Is a perfect blend of interactions and grinding, which I love. The community is great too. My only complaint is sometimes it can get repetitive, but not too much where I lose interest in the game. Overall, I'm glad I'm playing.. Keep it up Devs.

This game is alright. The dailies are nearly impossible to complete sometimes. Stinks that you can complete most of then, which aren't easy anyway, and then still not be able to get the reward. You constantly need the p2w currency, from unit aquiring to expanding stashes everywhere. Another point of contention I have is with the ad reward system. I appreciate the choice to watch ads for the real money currency, but the variability in the reward is terrible. Wasting 30 seconds of time to get 2 flooz or whatever it's called is rediculous, especially when the developer makes money off every video. Just greeedy

Initially rated 5 stars a year ago, but no more. Recent decisions designed to fleece players of premium currency are ruining the experience. Stay away from this one. Major example, game has a button that makes the staging process quicker. a new button added extremely close to this button, that spends 20 premium currency on an in game resource that is all but useless by the time you start using the time saving button, its completely out of place in context with the menu its placed in too!

I have bounced between a lot of games and uninstalled a lot of games (especially "idle" ones), but this game i have been stuck on for 3 months. I've played this game everyday for 3 months... I am hooked. It can be as simple as you want it to be or it has some in depth strategy as well. This is especially helpful during these isolated times too! I would recommend this game to anyone who likes idle games, building up characters, pick up and play games, and adapting games!

Tried this game after years of leaving it behind nothing has improved. Better yet my account apparently was purged due to inactivity. Not only is the game still a chore the ads are comical when they tell you to delete games with ads. All in all the experience hasn't changed much still boring. They did add a few heroes but nothing that increases the replay value for me.

The game is done very well the graphics look really cool and each character is unique in some way! Yeah it's a idle upgrade and tap game but theres something about it that makes me want to keep going and being in an active guild helps when everyone works together!! Customer support also is really helpful if you have a problem!! Definitely recommend for people who either want to play a little at a time or for awhile!

I used to have way too much fun playing this. Sadly the game is under new management and all they seem to care about is getting people to spend as much as humanly possible. They just released an extra hero star, then imediately made it so you can get half of the medals you need for $20. I played for over 1000 days, and spent a fair bit of money, but the black Friday deals was my last straw. It's like they pushed that content out just to milk the player base for all they are worth.

That is game. I've upgraded everything (includes level, villages income, stages, and prisms) to advanced further a bit for me got stronger. The game processes automatically as further as I left game for about 20 mins. Then I've returned to that game where I left off. I saw my upgraded everything return to their positions exactly where I've already upgraded everything before as it thought the time travels minutes back. I'm not sure if that has got to be glitch or pathetic internet connection.

I was completely fine and happy with this game until a very fustrating couple of bugs started to happen. The art and animation is pretty decient. If only I could see it! Half the monsters in this game are conpletely invisible to me! All you can see is their health bar. The levels are super bugged. The screen glitches out and shows misplaced graphics often. Plus you cant beat them even if all your heros made it to the other side safely! The monsters only respawn and win.

Played daily for a couple years, minimal money spent and never felt like it was required. Last purchase I did make was for medals on a specific toon. It automatically applied those to the toon, rather than letting me apply only what I wanted, which removed the toon from my 3-4 star team. Support not willing to reverse/change. Spent months getting that team just right and was top of leaderboard. It all left a bad taste and slowly drifted away rather than grind it out again.

Edit May 2022: Dropped from 5* to 1*. New owners IO have completely destroyed the game. This isn't just my personal opinion. People are leaving the game in droves. ---- [Review from 2 years ago ->] Very good idle game that you can also spend too much time on. Great music, cute characters. Very complicated with lots of depth. Great job by the developers. Easy to learn, hard to master the complexities - like chess, but not quite so strategic. Lots of fun

Update 3 years later, been playing on and off, and still love this game.. it's just a very fun time killer! Thanks for making a great consistent game This is a really fun game, great time killer, I even spent a little money on a few packs. I had a minor crash issue that was resolved immediately and when I say immediately I'm talking like the issue happened as i was going to bed, I woke up and had a response that was timestamped within a few hours with a fix. Very awesome customer support..

Really enjoyed the game, but as of late I have been having issues with things working properly, mainly anything that deals ads. The ad pops up then the game crashes. I have already uninstall reinstalled it. I have also cleared cache and everything I can think of. They never even came by to suggest anything I might have missed to fix and appropriate the crashes. While a decent game the struggle with growth is impossible with your ad system crashing the game and me not having the money to invest

There seems to be an awful lot of tapping. You tap a message to accept a reward, then you have to tap 5 more times, meanwhile you've missed 10 chests. speaking of chests, it seems like the regular (brown) chests have to be just about hit dead center while the video (gold) chests can be missed all together and still accept your tap. It is still a good time killer and relatively fun.

Spent more on this app than I'd like to admit as it was quite fun and addictive, but after my most recent purchase the app constantly crashes when trying to open it. I can no longer play, my final purchase was a complete waste as I never got to access it, and the game as a whole was a total waste of time and money since I can no longer get in to play it. Would not recommend as the danger of your game breaking is too high. edit: I don't know my game ID and can't get into the game to find it.

This game lasted me a good year or so. All in all,a pretty good game that's easy to get in to,with,of course,a long grind to the top (which is normal for a mobile/live service game.) Unfortunate that the original development team couldn't stick around, came back to see how the game was and it's still fairly fun. I heard that the game had problems with sneak-up premium currency usage ads,but I didn't have a problem with them personally. Overall, the only real problem is abysmal frame rate later on.

Great except it doesn't autosave well.. The game itself is greatly addicting, but over the course of playing it for several weeks, I cannot even count how many times I closed the game and came back only to have lost alot of progress. Atleast give me a save button so I can be assured it saved instead of me second guessing when it autosaves. The game is great but this save issue kills it for me. If it gets fixed then I may redownload but not until then. I will keep my eye on it.

This games had simple mechanics that make you feel like your are constantly advancing. It feels great to play a game where I don't feel like I need to constantly put money into it to have fun. Changed review: The game is a marathon, I'm ok with that. But when a new company took over they kept moving the finish line so drastically that it isn't the same game anymore. Frustrating to invest time into a slow build game to have it change into a drastic pay to win that negates 3 years of building.
