What's the point? I just installed the app & can't do anything without it asking me to log in every time I try to add a cruise. It keeps asking me to sign in when I am already signed in, or it just keeps circling after trying to add a cruise. After reading some of the reviews, it looks like this is a common issue.

Like the app especially the count down. It would be great if the packing list once amended moved cruise to cruise. Its annoying to have to add the same things each cruise. Lastly whats the difference between my feed and general feed, as my feed is lines we don't travel on, is there a way to drill down to lines we do only?

It's a great way to get information on a lot of cruise lines, however I am giving it a 4 star rating because it crashes on me a lot or doesn't load at all sometimes, and when I'm looking at the pictures it sometimes doesn't show me the one I clicked on and it won't show more after a certain amount.

It's OK but not really sure of its purpose. Advertised cruises are priced in $US Dollars which tends to suggest it is aimed at the American market. The sections for each ship seem to just be duplicating threads from other social media platforms. So yes it's OK but not worth it for me.

A huge difference since my last review, in 2015. It seems they were working the bugs out. in that time, Ship Mate has absolutely stepped up their game. You will find that if the company you've booked with has an app, Ship Mate will be an easier option to find some information that your cruise line does not include in their app services. As far as social interaction and gathering information from people who have cruised the same itinerary, it is way ahead of the game. The Facebook of cruise lines.

I absolutely ❤️❤️❤️ ShipMate! I spend more time on this app than I do Facebook! I love the roll call. I love exploring new ships and ports. I love having cruise prices posted! I love reading the reviews. I love seeing all the pictures of places I want to visit and ships I want to travel on. I love learning the ship's stats and comparing them with past ships I am familiar with. I love seeing where the ship's are. I hate the new tag on my countdown. It messed up my time lapse video. 365 -186 ugh!

This app keeps telling me to log in when I do anything, and it won't let me pick the cruise I'm going on nor does it let me update my profile. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I've even turned my phone on and off, and it STILL didn't work. Please fix this because it's really annoying, and it seems like others are having this issue as well.

UPDATE 12/9/18: No issues since the latest updates. Love this app. I have used this app for every cruise I have been on. I do not like the new update. It has less options, has done away with the widget, and is not very user friendly. I will probably uninstall this app after so many years of good use. My phone did an automatic update, but if you are given the option DO NOT update. You will be disappointed.

Promptly received a response from the app team with the suggestion to either clear the app data or uninstall/reinstall the app, which I had done. Everything was restored, and the app works fine now. Thanks for the quick, courteous and helpful response. (earlier review: New version wiped out my list of past cruises and other info. And it keeps telling me to log in over and over.)

Have been having trouble with the app since I first downloaded it. I created an account, verified it, and logged in. Then when I tried to add my past and upcoming cruises, it kept telling me to log in to do that. I had to log out, completely close it, then try again to get it to work. I wrote a review for my most recent cruise and every time I go to submit it, I get an error message. Logging out didn't fix it either. I have tried for several days.

Not as easy to navigate as it was a couple years ago can't find people going on my next cruise to chat with and the horn on the ship is gone ! Really disappointed app has changed so much. After exiting the app I opened it again for some reason the appearance changed and it was easier to navigate I found everything I needed and the horn Thank you for your quick response

Adding Ship Mates feature is completely bugged! I can't add my partner with out the app locking up and she cannot on her end as well! UPDATE 7/23/2021: I finally got in touch with an awesome customer service rep that was able to rectify our immediate issue after exchanging emails for a little under a week. The issue might still persist, but at least we got what we needed out of it. She was very courteous and I'm glad they took the feedback seriously. I will do my best to continue providing any feedback and help this app grow! I love the concept of this app and wish I knew about it while we had earlier cruises!

I've been using this app for a few years now and find it invaluable. It's great to have all of my cruise info in one place both past and future. The user interface is simple to use and very functional. The few times I needed to contact support (not the app's issue but the data from the cruise line had changed) they got back to me quickly with and also updated their data to match.

EXCELLENT app. Easy to use with lots of info. Tried using the offline mode, that didn't work. Other than that, great app. UPDATE: Sent a support email to Michael who jumped right on the offline mode not working and he and the crew fixed that right quick and in a hurry. Shipmate is excellent for finding deals, info from other cruisers, great pics and so on. Shipmate is my goto when we goto cruisin'!! Thanks much for a constantly evolving app that's better with each update!! Thanks Team 😉👍

What a cool app with loads of info and ability to book excursions! Hopefully some additional functionality and bug fixes (ship mate friends count is showing 0 even though I have 4 added) will come throughout time. It would be great to be able to "tag" somone, such as my wife, in a post or picture to ensure she sees it too. I'd also like the ability to add links in comments.

Update.... Randomly tried it several weeks later, and it is now working again! Back to a great app. Old-It was great for about a year and then a couple of weeks ago, it closes on me when I try to open it. I've done their troubleshooting many times, and nothing has worked. It's been 5 days since I've heard from customer service. Prior to this, it was a great app. Disappointed!!!

Update: Got logged in and cruises added with help from tech support via email. They were quick in responding and helping solve my issue! I can't wait to explore all this app has to offer! This app came highly recommended, but it won't let me add any of my cruises. I've tried multiple times. I even uninstalled, reinstalled , and tried again with no luck. Just spins and spins. Pointless app of it won't add my cruises!
