Interesting idea for a game, but not much can be done to actually affect the outcome of a match. If the AI decides it is meant to win, then it is given tiles to make words to do so. The game isn't hard, so you will make all your points most of the time and will win until the AI decides you won't.

It's a good game, but the ads. The first few levels you get not ads, then as you progress, you get more and more. I'm in the higher levels and I get 3-4 ads per match. There's too many.

Most of the time that you added the correct letter to the block, it gives you an error and the letter gets removed, but then when the opponent adds that letter to the block, it's accepted and correct. This is unfair.

Good overall, but if you leave a game and then come back to it later, it forgets that you have all the power ups and gives you only 3 tiles. The other player gets all power ups and gets an advantage because of this.

Having to pay game currency to play a hard level wouldn't normally be a deal breaker, but hard levels should have a greater reward than the easier ones, especially since you have to pay. I also don't like that there's zero social aspect and all the opponents are just AI.

I really loved this game when I first started playing. After the update, there are multiple ads during ONE game and to top it all off, the last few games I have played, I have not gotten coins! There is no way to contact support. There are just faqs... this was my go to game now it might end up deleted.

All was going fine until the ad in the middle of a game. That sucks so it's gots to go. Otherwise it was fun and kinda challenging. Change the ad timing and I'll try again

It's not that bad, but sometimes, it takes much longer than it needs to figure out certain answers, and a few clues were quite misleading (like "trendy joint" meaning "hip" instead of "hub" (well played)). Also, the loading screen takes its sweet time to load when you're in a hurry to get back to the game before the prize expires.

It's addicting for a bit. But, I started noticing quite early on that hints were repeated over and over so the challenge was gone and sometimes the hints were just dumb. And also, if you are going to make a crossword game, make sure you know how to spell. "Not glossy" does not equal "Matt". After I saw that, I immediately un-installed. It's not great.

Disappointed that it's the same puzzle every match. There is zero challenge and the game becomes boring rather quick. It seems this app was released prematurely since there are no other word puzzles. Add more puzzles and allow players to play each other. Then I'll change this review to 5 🌟. I'll be waiting for the update. Thanks.

When you have all the tiles on their spots that their supposed to be on, and you just missing that LAST tile that you need to figure out, and you click hint, and it shoots up a letter and it disappears under an already placed tile. You move the tile there's the letter. the hint you used was for knowledge you already knew. This wasnt any kind of assistance. Those tiles were already there and I already clicked end turn thinking I had it right, but no, can't figure out where the W goes.

Adored this game, ads weren't intrusive and it was lots of fun. Then I came back to it after a week and I'm getting an ad after literally every turn. And there's no option to pay to remove ads (or worse, if there is, this is happening after I already bought it...). Really frustrating

Edit: This issue was resolved in a couple of days. I'm back to playing several times a day. Thank you, Cozzle devs! I love this game. I have been playing it for a while. I don't mind ads, I understand the need for them. However, going from no ads to an ad after every single turn is ridiculous. If this isn't adjusted soon, I'll be uninstalling.

I love this game . it's addictive. but I hate ads. so make it where I can pay to have them removed. update: you put more ads in the game that pop up during and after game play. and for 30 days you can have no ads for $2. this sounds money hungry. forcing people to pay $24 a year to you guys so that the uptake in ads that you programmed doesn't annoy us. which is why you put more ads in the game.

came back to this game today after awhile not playing, it's like everything else, riddled with ads, I can forgive end of level ads, but ads that interrupt levels are an instant -3 for me, they interrupt thought process and are overall unappealing. good game but can't give good rating due to this. Doesn't make sense for round based games to have ads during the round

Edit: they added several ads per level and payment only removes them for 30 days so I'm uninstalling and dropping from 4 stars to 1 😒 Original: Some of the clues are kinda lame, and they reuse them over and over, but here I am still playing anyway. It's a nice game and really fun. Love finally having a fun game with no ads. I wish the music kept playing during the puzzles though.

The most recent update added a ladybug side challenge, but it effectively is making the game pay to play. The bugs often cover the only square where a letter can go, and the only way to move forward is to swap (spends gems and doesn't guarantee a letter you can place), hint (move the bugs, but costs gems), pass when remaining tiles left (doesn't allow for the 5 bonus points), or exiting the level altogether. I'm not sure I'm going to keep playing after this. 🤷‍♀️
