The game was OK, but the overwhelming ads to do everything just put me off. If there was a way to make a one time purchase for a few bucks I'd have done it, but you could only pay for subscriptions. The gameplay itself was OK, but the clues were super repetitive and several times I was wondering if I'd already completed the particular level I was on. I'm sure there's better ones out there. Happily uninstalled.

I love crosswords but these are too easy. It should give you an option for difficulty level so you don't waste time solving puzzles for simpletons. Reading other reviews indicate there may be harder puzzles but at a much higher level. Life's too short, uninstalling and moving on.

make no mistake: if you're looking for a crossword app, this is not it. this is just "easy word grid for babies!" i was hoping for a quick difficulty ramp up standard for any kind of puzzle app. im 50+ levels in and it's still 5x5. the same clues will repeat ad nauseum over several puzzles. you *will* roll your eyes each time you have to write "omaha" shortly before watching an ad (the frequency of which you cannot predict)

I liked the game and the questions and I was okay with the amount of ads but they recently added an add that plays multiple times while you're playing and shows up in a little box at the top corner and just blasts noise. There's no option to remove it and you can only mute it after it's gotten a few sentences out. The most annoying ad utilization I've ever seen and the sole reason I'm removing this app.

The ads are bad. I know that all apps have ads, and I get it! But this app has ads that don't go away, and when you press the X to end the ad, it opens the ad page MULTIPLE TIMES! IT'S SO ANNOYING! The worst ads are from Dice Dreams, that King game, and Angry Birds. If it doesn't get fixed I'll download another crossword puzzle app.

This app has become ridiculous with ads. We are now being forced to watch numerous ads in a row where before it was optional if you wanted to win coins. I've no interest in the ads or the free coins. I enjoy solving puzzles and competing with others but now in tight contests you are placed at a disadvantage by having to watch ads where time is of importance in competition. If this continues I will be looking at other apps to enjoy in my free time.

Lots of ads. Some are quite long. Also not really a crossword puzzle game, mostly a mini crossword. It's kinda boring. I was hoping for a higher difficulty and a bigger puzzle as I level up, but that's not the case. The game might be okay for an eight year old.

This is a money grab game, at first you are able to earn in game coins used to buy hints etc in the game, that's good so that when you get stuck you can get help. Yet after a few rounds your coins go into a piggy bank (like other games), which you MUST buy in order to get said coins, you get NO OTHER coins unless you buy. Then many of the clues are so obscure that no one would know the answer. And to top it off, gameplay is different from the ads.

It was fun for 24 hours, but the the ADS & FREEZING UP!! Once you rrach a certain level, the game freezes at every random ad that is shown. I would put my phone down, come back in a few minutes,& still frozen on the ad with the only option to ecit out of the game. Uninstalled!!

The puzzles are very repetitive with the same words and clues over and over. The challenges and competitions with other players are stupid and I wish I could turn them off. I paid for a year to turn off the ads but will not renew the subscription because the puzzles aren't challenging enough.

too many pop-ups and ads. I wanted to like this game and it would have been a good one. I spend more time closing annoying suggestion pop ups and watching ads (AN AD PLAYED WHILE I WAS PLAYING) try to concentrate on crosswords while that is playing in the upper right corner. I was also brought to another screen for another ad in the middle of game play. I do more fighting with trying to close ads and pop ups than playing. I have to uninstall. Fun and enjoyment ruined.

Developers need to tell us the target audience for these games. For example, this one might challenge a 4th or 5th Grader but by Grade 7 certainly most people would find these too easy. I also marked down for the excessive re-use of clues. I got 3 puzzles in a row that had OMAHA as an answer -- two times as Nebraska's biggest city, and once as Jimmy Buffet's hometown. In 100 games, OMAHA was in at least a dozen; and the same with ELLEN Degeneres. Because of these things, I'm uninstalling.

I like this game BUT there are words misspelled & some even made up, it answers the clue but it's not a real word & some are improper English. THEN there's the ads. It jumps in as soon as you win so you can't look at all the answers, then you have to watch another before you start the next game. TOO MANY ADS & most are LONG... Why not 1 ad between games? Watching ads more than playing!

I just installed this game today, and I'm going to uninstall. The ads are way too excessive, and when I press the x to dismiss, it opens the game from the ad. Also, there is no challenge whatsoever. I figured the puzzles would be more challenging as I got into higher levels, but no. Just way too easy. No thank you!

ANOTHER EDIT: Not only do youu view an add after a game, then another before you actually begin next puzzle, and then, now, little voice ads come up while playing games! Yes, ads are important, but this is ANNOYING! EDIT: This should be called "The Ad Game!" You'll spend more time watching ads than playing! I enjoy the game, but the ads are extremely annoying! Most free aps have ads, but these seem excessively long and annoying! Apart from that, I'm enjoying it so far!

If I could rate it negative 5 I definitely would. Anytime a games forces you to go to the store every time you click the x to close it, is not worth my time. Plus the additional ads between plays. I realize ads are a necessary part of doing business but this is greed at the players expense. I'm done, uninstalled complete.

I installed this game from the looks of an ad. Needless to say, the ad lied. I thought I was installing one that gave the clues in words & pictures. However that is not what this one is. Thw daily login rewards aren't worth the time of day. On day 50, I got maybe 8 coins today. Hints cost 10 coins. Some of the puzzles have maybe 5 clues while other have a lot more. Several of the same clues are used in puzzles back to back. At this point I'm only keeping it to break the boredom.
