Truly pitiful. The other incarnations of Criminal Case could be sort of addictive, but with each new edition it became more about money. The last went too far. Cases must be solved in less than 45 seconds or you must replay the scene while losing more energy. The only way to avoid this is to spend. It would be mediocre without ads or in-app purchases at all.

I love the criminal case games, and have all of them. This is the worst one by far. The set up for getting stars and having a time limit for each search is terrible. The hints have to be purchased just to preview an item during a search. If it were set up like the previous versions of the game, I would give it 5 stars. The energy even takes almost twice as long to accumulate. Don't fix what isn't broken...update this version to match the previous ones and you'll have a LOT more happy customers.

When I first started playing this game, it was too hard, took long to move. I am still playing and have collected coins. After the first three cases, it gets easier. Do the spinner to collect coins. As I am getting better at this game, I have changed my vote from 1 to a 4. The first few cases are really hard until you catch on to their pattern. The second story line, "the 60" moves along well and is interesting. The sliders bonus are most difficult. I can do 8 of the 10 start without having to purchase time. I find playing the sliders on my phone works better then the PC as it is a touch screen where my PC is not.

As someone who has played most of the other games (i skipped mysteries of the past), i have to say, i'm not really a fan of the changes in the gameplay like all the scenes being timed to complete. Don't get me wrong, I thought that was fine for the bonus levels in previous games, but it just doesn't feel right for normal crime scenes. I also feel that standard features from the previous games, such as hints, being completely tied to coins now is just riddiculous.

I was really excited when I saw this because I love Criminal Case games, have played them for years, and I thought the time travel concept sounded really fun. I quickly lost enthusiasm though at the new style where the time counts down and you have to say no to boosters every time. You get a star every scene no matter what, but not being able to track and improve your score takes away some of the fun challenge. It's also twice as many stars for each suspect or piece of evidence.

Love this game! Tasks are a little repetitive but the characters and storylines more than make up for it. It's like reading a good book and you get to be one of the characters! Love the ties to real life historic events. You get to learn a little while playing. Even the found objects helped me learn some new words like amphora & pillory. Especially enjoyed travelling to the groovy 1960s! Timed crime scenes can be challenging but fun. More history-linked Criminal Case, please!

Since I love the Criminal Case game series so much, I feel compelled to write this review for Travel in Time saying how much I dislike the changes to this version of the game. The star system feels unchallenging since all you have to do is play the scene and you get a star. It feels like a participation award just freely handed out. In other versions of the game, I felt a satisfaction of beating my previous score and wondering if I would get enough points to fill that next star. The timed addition to all the maps is something I despise. It doesn't make it fun to find all the objects, but rather annoying because I'm worrying about the time instead of challenging myself to a memory game of where the objects are. When I fail a level, with usually only 3 objects left, I hate that I either have to waste 5000 coins to add another 45 seconds on, or waste the 20 energy I spent starting the map in the first place. It's a lose-lose situation. The puzzle maps were my least favorite in the previous versions, but those are way more bearable than the Travel in Time version. There are too many pieces in this version, and with the added annoyance of the time limit, they're even less fun to play. In the previous versions, the time attack scene was my favorite because the time limit made perfect sense, and it was a challenge, not an annoyance. I will most likely uninstall this version of Criminal Case, but I will keep playing the other versions because they are astronomically better than this one.

Not as good as the other CC games. Of course, it's still enjoyable, but the game's set-up makes it impossible for the game to include what I play CC for-- interesting recurring characters. Mysteries of the Past is my favorite CC season, because that game contains so many excellent recurring characters. Because TT requires you to, well, travel in time, it's impossible for the game to include recurring characters you watch develop throughout the game. Some enjoyment for me is lost because of this.

I enjoy playing criminal case game. It really easy for me to solve the cases! Two thing I don't like is you have to wait 10 hours for the results come in. For you to move on the next scene. And another thing you have to wait 3 hours for the energy to fill up to collect items in the crime scene! To move on! Other than that the game is a lot of fun!

I like the different challenge. I play all the Criminal Case games & this one is different. I like it over all but I don't like the way the helpers are set up. It's much better in the other CC games. The main reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is due to the adds. They are aweful. It's no where near as bad in the other CC games. Travel in Time has an add after every play. It's ridiculous considering the other CC doesn't have them that way. The adds make me not wanna keep playing. Make them less!

Overall, I like the game. I have played the others. I tend to forget about the boosters on the other versions so I'm used to not using them. This one puts the boosters right in your face, before each try. LOL. I still don't use them, which makes this annoying. I also found with this version, once I know the grid, I zip right through the remaining stars, leaving a lot of energy unused especially when I'm waiting for things in the lab (excruciatingly long on elite).

Really disappointed...was so excited but now not so much... limited to finding my clues in 45 seconds or use more energy. I like the way all the previous cc games were. Was actually expecting cc to carry on that way. It is more challenging however the time limit is a definite disappointment for me. Not sure if I will continue with it or not. The one thing I do like is getting a star each time no matter what the points.

This is in no way as good as other criminal case games. They completely removed experience from getting stars. They also increased the stars from 5 to 10. While previously you got some experience even if the amount of experience degraded over time, now if you don't find every object in a scene in 45 seconds, you get nothing and you fail the scene. This now FORCES you to spend coins rather than being able to stockpile coins for future use. Hugely annoying to me. There's a lot more I don't like

I tried it twice. I finished the previous 5 seasons of Criminal Case. Couldn't play this one. The game seems to be designed to make absolutely sure you pay a lot of cash to move ahead in the game. You cannot even finish your level unless you pay for more time?? Which is sad, because the plot sounds fantastic. Sadly, not for me.

Great games. Great storytelling and graphics. It would be greater if you could combine all of the energy when we level up. I've had tons of energy it all gets removed. I lose it all ,then I have a piddly 110 energy, THAT IS SO WRONG........After playing this version for awhile I am not going to continue when I run out of coins I will uninstall it 😤. I agree with the other reviews.

Have played every game of Criminal Case. I do not care for the changes made. There's no real challenge any longer with obtaining stars. Regardless of my score, I receive one. Also, the timed challenge which the player has to identify 60 items in the time allowed is sorely missed. Why was this game dumbed down so much? It's no longer as enjoyable, nor challengi as the others. If you do create any additional games, which I sincerely hope you do, please consider reestablishing the original format.

This Criminal Case game has an entirely different star system than the others. Instead of filling in 5 stars per crime scene, there are 10, and each interview or investigation costs 2 stars. However, each star represents one hidden object hunt. So you don't have to repeat a crime scene 5 times to fill in a single star. The downside is you're limited to 60 seconds for each one. (You can extend that time by watching an ad.) The time travel schtick is entertaining.

I honestly don't understand why you made changes to the star system, the number of stats, but most importantly, you can't pick your own partner, you can't look at the item helper at all, you can't fill stars, you don't get hints, the stars cost double, I honestly loved the tutorial case better. And worst of all, It's now timed. Gosh, if you guys kept it how it was in the first five games before this, I would enjoy it. But now, it's just not that fun. Please change it back to the way it was.

A little too challenging and annoying. Unlike the other games I don't like how they only give you 60 seconds to find all the items in the crime scenes, which has way more items than the other games and it makes it panicky trying to get all of them before the time runs out. Once you start hearing the clock ticking down you start skimming over items and then you run out of time and don't complete it and they make you waste 5k coins to add another 60 seconds? Waste of energy to not get the star😒

Game is OK. The algorithm for the sticker book is garbage. Example: case 1 shows 52/59 stickers collected. Scroll through the pages and there are 10 empty slots, not 7. Open sticker packs a couple of days later, now case 1 shows 37/59 stickers collected. WTH?? Also, way too many duplicates. Should keep track of how many of each sticker you get like it does with the cards. Completed 15 cases all the way through collection mode and still no complete pages.
