Great game, lots to do, and lots of fun. At least when I played it years ago. I came back because I'm looking for a hidden object game and I remembered how fun this one is. But the moment an ad popped up, I came back to uninstall. Awesome idea to give me a bonus to watch an ad. But force one, after I leave a level, nope. I know, free app. I don't care though. Make ads optional for bonus (and I'll watch them, I like bonuses).

Update: I'm still playing and here it is a year later. My only complaint is the ads!!! They didn't use to pop up at all and now they pop up every other time you play a scene. It's highly annoying and I've actually considered giving the game up but I keep playing in hopes they will fix it. I've played this game for years and I won't be giving it up any time soon! The story plot makes it even more interesting!!!

Very fun if you like those types of t.v. shows! You must like solving puzzles. Several times I have run out of stars and energy rapidly. So far. I have been able to watch ads to help with that; but it takes A LOT of them to be able to do anything or get anywhere which is somewhat disheartening. I still like it and still think fun despite this one major set back.

I like the game and have played for a few years. However, recently the ads have gotten out of hand. I understand it's free and totally understand watching ads for a benefit like more energy, more bonus spins, etc. but having ads popup after every 2 scene plays is ridiculous. Just thought you should know why you lost a long time consistent player. I will check back every few months to see if it has been changed back. There are so many good options for hidden object games, this one is not worth it

I've been playing this off and on for 8 years, and I'm still loving the game. Yes, there are ads after levels, but most are skippable. Wait times can be a bit egregious, so I usually just spend the downtime earning energy, as you can rack up more than the energy bar's limit. If you don't enjoy grinding and want instantaneous gratification, this is not for you. I recommend standalone games and not something that started on Facebook.

Criminal Case is a pretty good game. Rating of 3 stars is due to the fact that it takes 20 energies for each scene played, the max given is 110 so you only get to play 5 scenes and if you're good at finding the items that's not long. It would be better if the energy used was less, instead of having to watch ads to get more playtime. Edit: it seems the further you get in the game the more ads you have to watch, then most of the time it just keeps going to the play store when you X out of the ad

The gameplay is sloooow, you have to do hidden object levels over and over to progress. And you need energy to do the smallest tasks, and you run out of energy fast. You'll play about 5 minutes on a full bar. Was hoping there'd be more forensic puzzles, you know, matching fingerprints or DNA. The mini games are so mini, you'll complete them in seconds. The characters are unlikeable, and it solves each case for you, which I hate. No mysteries here, and no fun!

Loved in until the ads returned. I paid the $7.99 not to have ads pop up between every single action. Worked great until today, when the ads returned. I tried clicking "restore purchases" says it worked, but it didn't. Tried to purchase it again. Wouldn't let me because I already owned it, which caused the game to freeze. Disappointing really. I hope it gets fixed soon! Things I like about the game: interesting, compelling cases. Brief interactions with NPCs, and I am excited to see whats next

I like the game, but a lot of features/bonuses require Facebook which I find a bit annoying since you need 3 Facebook friends in order to move on at a reasonable pace, which isn't a big deal. Also, the energy thing is also a pain. The puzzles take up so much energy it's not possible to progress without watching a bunch of ads. Other than that, the game is cool

Fun to play. Each scene is entertaining but wish there was more energy capacity without having to have a weekly subscription. It takes much too long to make progress without purchases. There are in-app purchases but sometimes the one-time flash sales error out and aren't able to be redeemed, which is kind of a bummer because those are the sales that you would actually want if you needed them.

I love this game, I have been playing it for years, give or take a couple. Recently started playing again to find out the you can no longer log in to Facebook with it to save your progress, i was playing a few others but when I logged into them it started ne back at the beginning so I deleted them, i an only playing this one and the Supernatural one only, now have ads pop up constantly, was going to pay 7.99 for ad free but it won't take the payment. Is all of this ever going to be fixed?

The game is fun. The graphics are good. And it's interesting enough. One major complaint that ruins the entire thing is the number of ads. There are back to back ads between stages/sections. There seem to be random periodic ads. There are ads to get additional energy or to spin the bonus wheel, which makes more sense but becomes overwhelming. The cost to remove the ads between stages/sections is 7.99 which is much too high to pay.

I've been playing this game for years. People say finding the same items in the same scenes is repetitive, but I like challenging myself for speed. Also, the cases are interesting. I like having the option to watch an ad for extra energy/coins, or for extra spins on the wheel. Operative word being OPTION. Now it plays ads after nearly every crime scene. Way too many ads now, it's pretty annoying. I've changed my rating from 4 stars to 2. I'll change it back if they go back to how it was before..

The various game functions are pretty fun and challenging like the finding game and the analyzing clues game. However, it's really annoying that the "recruit your friends" (to recommend this game to friends) keep popping up and especially when the only way to "recruit" them is on Facebook which is such an outdated site, especially if the target audience are teens and young adults. Also an ad pops up after every single time you complete a game.

This game is addicting as hell. I see a lot of people nix it over the energy you have to wait to accrue, but you can watch a 20 second ad to gain it. But with how fun the game is, ive never cared about that. Only thing I hate is some of the "tests" in the cases take hours before you can do anything further. But i download the spinoff games (the conspiracy, pacific bay) so i can pretty much always progress in one.

Way, way, way too many ads. Almost every action you take results in an ad popping up. Its aggravating to have to fight through that. I can understand watching ads to earn more energy points. That is fine with me, because it is voluntary. But constant pop up ads for everything else just drives me away. Its honestly not worth all the hassle. Which is a shame, because the game is well designed, and the writing is charming.

Lost it's fun. I used to spend money on this game but why bother when you are forced to sit through a 3p second ad after EVERY SINGLE SCENE! And then if you want more energy you have to sit through MORE ADS. I would gladly CHOOSE to wait through the latter ads if I didn't already waste 20 minutes just trying to complete one scene and most of it was sitting through ads! I loved this game and it's story. Now I can only play in airplane mode to enjoy it, which doesn't allow co-OP! I no longer play.

I love this game. I just have one issue with it and it's only been recently. Every time the game stops to show an ad, whether you select to watch for items or just periodically, the game freezes and stays black. Sadly, I am deleting this, which sucks as I was beginning to make progress. The amount of ads has seriously increased in the past two years and that's a lot of frozen game time. Not willing to catch a virus, just in case... Uninstalling!

This game has many plot twist and a lot of puzzles to solve. The main puzzle is to look for objects and items to help you solve the murder. Each time you beat the level you can earn points to fill a star. The stars help you solve the crime. You can also decorate your avatar with coins you collect. This game has definitely helped me solve puzzles alot faster.

Great game! Just too many ads. I love scavenger puzzles such as these with a great plot and honestly dark story, but I don't need a mood change of being really into the game's lore, and then BOOM. Another annoying ad. I'm not asking for y'all to remove em, (Even though that would be nice) but just turn it down a bit. Is that too much to ask?
