This is a great app for monitoring your credit against fraud, mistakes, and general purposes. It is not, however, an accurate representation of your credit score. Which for me was fantastic for the first few years that I used it because I was hustling to raise it and acting very responsibly, while not really needing to make any big purchases. When I went to buy a new home I realized that my ACTUAL score was close to 40 points higher. Which was awesome news.

I absolutely LOVE this app!! I get to check my score for FREE WHENEVER!! There's a simulator that; shows my current credit score, shows how many points could be added/subtracted, and what my credit score could be after either; applying for a new loan, opening a new credit card, making credit card payments on time, or even going delinquent on some accounts, if absolutely needed (WHICH I DON'T RECOMMEND EVER DOING BTW) It's just an AMAZING and EDUCATIONAL APP. THANKS CREDIT WISE FROM CAPITAL ONE!!

Easy to use credit tracker, but doesn't track funds in real time, even if you pay off your debt, it won't show up on your credit report sometimes even after a FEW 7 day updates, best to pay off your debt right away every time you use any credit because you'll never know when it will report your balance or available credit to the bureau's. This is the best way to build credit and increase your line of credit the quickest.

Really good app. Lots of notifications to choose from. Credit score is pretty accurate. Unfortunately they use fico 3 and Experian uses fico 8, but there are so many different credit scores for 1 person, the only way to get an accurate picture is to pay for a month of Experian and see them all. This app does keep you updated on credit inquiries and score changes. Plus it's free!

Info would he helpful is it consistently made sense. For instance, my total debt decreased by $2,000 therefore my credit availability increased by $2,000. According to credit wise, this dropped my credit score 86 points. This makes no sense whatsoever as you can see. However sometimes, the information is accurate and helpful. This time out of a possible 10 points, credit-wise scored 0.0.

CreditWise is very useful in helping to monitor and build credit scores. Useful tips, timely notifications. The only downside is that it most usually takes several attempts to access it, saying the app is taking longer than usual to boot up, check back later. This happens more often than not. It is very frustrating when trying to take care of business on the go. I would otherwise recommend the app for anyone who is trying to build back or to maintain a good credit score.

Absolute joke. Pay down a bill a little, score drops a lot. What kind of sense does that make? I'm making my payments. My score shouldn't be dropping because I'm paying off debt. It seems CreditWise wants to encourage people to get themselves into debt by adjusting scores in a deceitful way, that the other two credit agencies don't do. When your score is 100 points less on one of the three apps, you know where the problem is, and it's not with you, it's with CreditWise.

Could be much better. Not very user friendly (not clear what you are supposed to touch to do what) and every time I hit the back button on my phone, the app wants to log out instead of returning to the previous screen. Also, would be a whole lot better if you could screenshot your information for comparison at a later time. Other apps are much more user friendly and allow for screenshots.

This is a great design for a credit score app. When you open the app each month it will refresh your score and walk you through changes that resulted in your new score. It also has a simulator that allows you to see the impact of changes you make. For instance, you can simulate your score if you reduced your percentage of credit card debt or see the impact of missing a payment for one month. You also get identity monitoring tools in this app.

Couldn't be any easier to navigate. Love how you can simulate very different scenarios to see if your score will drop or go up, depending if making a big purchase or paying off loans/credit cards. This app also alerts you on a possible breach to one of your accounts and even your email. I log in once or twice a week to see how I am doing. Thank you for the app.

I can honestly say, that utilizing "CreditWise," has been easy and wonderful, simultaneously. CreditWise does all the work for you. You simply login, and view your file. It is so simplistic. You receive what I call, a "Scorecard," which gives you a grade on each subcategory of your credit report. You can easily see where work is required, to improve your score. Most importantly, you can view it whenever without your credit-score being jeopardized. No soft/hard hits to your credit record.

Great interaction tool and provides a simple, high level oversight into your general credit rating. Also seems to be very responsive to fraudulent activity with your credit (thank you, Equifax), and have successfully called in and cancelled an Amazon credit card request. It's a great so, monitors TransUnion information. I wouldn't use this to navigate your potential purchase of a house, (since the algorithm may be different than the general consumer credit algorithm), but it's definitely good to get a general sense of where you are, at least.

Best app to monitor Credit Score. It shows your transition credit score (which is usually a bit higher than your FICO score) but helpful none the less. It also provides details of your accounts, inquiries and other things that impact your credit score. I specifically use it to monitor any new accounts or addresses added under my name to prevent identity theft. And best of all.. its FREE and no capital one credit card is needed! No ads either. I would recommend it to all my friends and family.

seems pretty good and easy to use. I don't how much detail is available but for the average person who just wants to see where they are its good and its free. I like the little credit simulator - if you want to open it account or buy a house it shows what it does to your credit rating, and if your going to be late on payments (say it isnt so lol) it shows that also. Here also there are not lot of options but it is easy to use. It has been a good App so far & w free service its even better : )

A product that needs an upgrade so often needs to be redesigned. Is it really an upgrade, or the source of all these mysterious new emails I have been getting...in addition, much of the metrics are redundant, but seem to at the same time signify something different. Makes no sense. Just a panic button to get you to buy something. I am impressed at how quickly and accurately information is gathered. Too bad banks dont actually use it. Getting a loan is a mysterious matter beyond a credit score.

Makes building credit much easier! I love that I get alerts any time there is a change in my credit history or my credit score. I can use the simulator to see how actions will affect my credit. Overall, its peace of mind knowing that I can check any time, anywhere, and its completely free. I don't get all the persistent ads trying to get me to upgrade service or buy anything. It's an awesome app!

Creditwise is the first app I have ever used for the intention of monitoring my own credit score. It is extremely intuitive, enlightening, thorough, and fun to use. It has showed me things about my credit report I was unaware of. It also gives you the ability to generate hypothetical scores based on decisions you may decide to make. It explains how an action will either improve your score or have an adverse effect. I have used this app much more during the past few months. Excellent!

I think this is a great app to give you an idea where you stand between the 3, I know it's just a round a bout, but absolutely a very useful key to help you see what using to much credit hurts your score, or late payments, versus not running your credit up and just use what's absolutely necessary.. This app shows that and also gives options to show how ones credit could be reflected by late payments, or opening a account, or even opening to many over short periods of time.. So again this is a VERY useful app that I check at least monthly to see what is going on..

I really like the app for checking on my credit score progress. But the 3 stars is for changing the Score History graph to 1 year. I used to be able to see 3 years of tracking, but now it's down to 1. Please change it back. I just paid off a 2 year personal loan, and I'm getting ready to take out another 2 year personal loan to improve my credit score. My credit score increased quite a bit with the 1st loan, but I didn't write my scores down, so I don't know by how much, since you changed to 1yr

This is a good way to have an overview of your credit score and how it changes based on payments or adding additional accounts. The drawback is that even though this app is from Capital One and uses that information in the app, it does not update in realtime. If a payment is made or charges are added on your Capital One card, they should be reflected in the CreditWise app within a few days, not once a month.
