I've only been playing for 2 days but I am highly enjoying this game so far! I have not had to watch a single ad, the pacing is perfect, the art style is simple but not unaesthetic, and the fishing mechanic is engaging. The game lets you explore at your own pace but guides you towards achievements and the in-game currency is fairly attainable without paying. Overall, in a market saturated with money grabs, overly complex graphics, or bad mechanics this game stands out!

It's everything the Animal Crossing Pocket Camp fishing SHOULD feel like. I'm deeply in love with the progression system - it feels like a mix of all the good fishing mechanics from pc gaming. Aknly one feature I'd love to see added, a skip quest option in exchange for gems or smth after a finite period of time. I've been trying to catch this shark for over a week 😭 Edit 2: im... still trying to catch the shark. It's been a really really really long time. Literal hours of gameplay.

I am saying a 3 not because im not enjoying the game because i am. The graphics are good and the idea is great but i was hoping to see some competition such as anytime challenges against other players. Quick and long ones, more things to earn for fish bait maybe earn reels and lures. Its just very slow going but the idea is there it just needs more excitement if that makes sense.

Great fishing experience. Takes into account night and day and months. At first as a gamer I thought "hey this is lame you cant catch anything anytime." But then my fisherman semse took over and thought "this is super realistic while also fun. What a great design." So taking into account that you wont be able to "WIN" the game in 2 months, then yeah its a phenomenal game. I personally love it. Music. Aesthetics. Ambiance. It feels good. It plays amazingly. Good challenge where challenge is due.

Relaxing game with simple mechanics. Progressions seems a little slow but sometimes it is nice to just go out and fish without worrying about capturing a large monster or building up your home island. There are in-app purchases but they don't appear to be too intrusive. You have the option to watch ads for certain things but at the time of this review there aren't any limits or walls requiring you to cool down or watch an ad to continue playing.

I wish it was possible to redo the tutorial to learn game play. I downloaded, started playing the beginning tutorial, then wasn't able to log back in for a long time. Now it remembers me, but won't let me do things (like go fishing) to level up. I'm stuck at level 1.... this may be user error, but I still can not continue in the game

While the progression, noticeably at the beginning, is relatively slow at times when compared to other mobile titles, I've found creatures of the deep to be genuinely rewarding to play. Everything is simple, small, and it's the kind of game that's best appreciated by just sort of slowing down and sniffing the roses. Advertisements are pretty scarce, so I'm unsure how it's monetized, but I would absolutely pay for a release on my PS5 if given the chance.

Fun, chill. I play this game when Im waiting for something at work or before bed or to wake up. Very relaxing design and atmosphere with a variety of fish. There's a bit of challenge to catch certain fish, too. No annoying ads and you dont have to buy stuff if you have a lot of patients. The dang fishing poles break too often, and after months I have yet to see all the fish or the really big fish, but I still play it. One of the best phone games around.

it's very nice so far. no forced ads. while it's not easy to get paid currency for free, it isn't necessary to play and only makes it easier to or for cosmetics. fishing is a mix of animal crossing and typical fishing mini games for harder fish. my suggestion is that while the haptic feedback is great for disabled players, make the vibration for hooking a fish stronger/different from when a fish nibbles on the hook; it's hard to see for visually impaired players due to the tiny visual style.

It's a very good game, it can be very satisfying as much as it is frustrating. I like fishing games, and this reminds me a lot of Dredge. There are some bugs I've experienced, such as watching an ad for the chests that spawn around your island and not being rewarded. An aspect that could use a rework are the rods and how often they break. It feels like I can only catch a few dish before I need to buy a new one.

This game is so wonderful. It's pretty and relaxing and has a great soundtrack. They consistently update it so there's often new stuff to do! Also there are NO ADS! Genuinely the best mobile game I've ever played. The only suggestion I have is to maybe add more music because it does get a little repetitive if you play the game frequently.

Cannot purchase anything in shop, always gives me "Unable to connect to server" message but it plays ads just fine, however it doesn't give me the reward for the chest. I am connected to the internet, I have uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn't work. Was not able to purchase starter pack due to this. Very ironic since I'm trying to spend money and the app itself won't even let me. Will change rating if fixed.

Very fun, surprisingly well developed for a free game. Progression in the game is slow but fulfilling. Great music, too. Please figure out the watch ad reward system. Most of the time, the reward is not granted after watching the advertisement.

It is fun, simple, only ads I've seen are when I seek out and open chests for extra free rewards. That is the biggest bonus for me. I can't stand watching an ad every 30 seconds to keep playing a game. It is beautiful, has growing complexity, and I love the music and atmosphere.

I've only just started playing, I am enjoying it. I can't say it's 100% relaxing since the timing needs to be just right to catch the fish or trash. I do wish it was easier to gain experience points, especially for beginners, gaining +1 point for fish or trash seems a bit low to start. Having to pay up 100 coins every time you have to go back to the island gets a bit annoying as well, but all in all seems like a nice game.

Fun, I really enjoy it although I feel like the mini game should happen more often, needing to tap at the right moment can be difficult as this game does not make you focus but rather relax. Could be different fishing mini games for each rarity then or something. Or just random fishing mini games in general. Fishing is the point of the game, so making it not feel diverse does dull the game a tad.

I'd recommend this game. Finally, a good game with no forced ads. It's relaxing and fun in short bursts. I'd recommend spicing things up a bit, though, because it can get a bit repetitive. I find myself playing for maybe 10 min at a time and then I get bored. Take a page out of Dredge and make the fishing minigames differ based on what you're fishing for.

I really like the game and would have gave it 5 star but their are ser Certain things that I am struggling with like finding and catching the monster fish at different locations. Also I would like to be able to interact more maybe communicate with other players.but who knows what you guys will add in the future because there's room for a lot of potential.im really looking forward to seeing what kinda stuff you guys add in the future.

Not bad but need some adjustments. First off fix the servers plz. Constantly crashing and reconnecting to the server, makes it difficult to enjoy at times. Second gold cost to travel back and forth shout be free for 1st island. Way too difficult to do anything in the beginning. And lastly maybe add some more info about using different lures, is there a bonus for specific types of fish or what. But overall not bad. Make some improvements and my rating will be adjusted accordingly

I didn't play phone games. I do now. This has me absolutely addicted. The goals are just the right level of difficulty, the fish/map/competition setup makes for loads to explore, and I love the graphics. Best part is: minimal ads, fewer than any free game I've ever played. I ended up buying one or two things in the game store, because I wanted to help out the dev team and the purchases are pretty useful in game. This is a keeper. I'm still in the early stages. I know this one has a ton to offer!
