Games pretty fun but I have a couple gripes as a developer with the game. 1. You can't preview card abilities when selecting a card reward. There are two many icons to expect a player to just remember them all, at least dtarting out. 2. In the challenges that teach you the card abilities if you happen to get it wrong the game hard locks by not letting you drag the card into position on restart. At the least this is the issue for me. 3. In the Poison Challenge the cards dont capture sometimes.

Pretty good game, but ive been having issues playing the game. First off when you uninstall in the middle of the tutorial, it dosent take you back the the beginning and the game literally forces you to go through the rest f the tutorial (bad if you dont remember how to play) Second, the sound quality struggles a bit (almost screeches at you) and the games a tad slow. If theres any way to fix this please do.

A nice simple game to get into, which quickly opens up and becomes complex and competitive as card abilities are slowly introduced. I appreciate that each match has a hard time limit in the form of board size and the ranking system that ensures you're exposed to new mechanics at a good pace before you can actually work on your rank. It reminds me a bit of Go, a game I quite like, but have never been very good at. Consequently, we'll see if I can ever break out of the bottom of Bronze 4. X)

the game seems well thought out, but it's frustrating going through these tutorials when there are bugs and unclear directions. (I tried out a couple of the rivals special moves in the beginning, but there's no way to finish their tutorials because bugs in the explanation and card setups. Hopefully these bugs arent in the rest of the game, because, maybe im missing something, but this is annoying)

Haven't played very far yet, but it seems pretty fun. It's basically an evolution of triplebl triad, but that's not a bad thing. It's bringing new things to the table. My biggest criticism would be the character design. I just don't find them very interesting. Judging by the success of rivals of aether, though, I might be in the minority. Worth checking out as a great casul card game.

This is a fun unique card game that you can play and succeed in for free. Despite having a simple premise it does have a learning curve with interesting strategy; that can keep you engaged and experimenting for new ways to play. The tutorial never broke for me and I had this game day one before the bug fixes were added, so take other reviews claiming they couldnt get passed the tutorial with a grain of salt.

Man, I really wanna play this game, but it just chugs on my phone. I've had this issue with Candies 'n' Curses too. After 1 to 5 minutes the game goes from playable without any slowdown to nothing working. The framerate, the music, the logic, everything slows to an unplayable crawl. (Like 10 seconds per frame.) For it to become functional again, all I have to do is go to the home screen and clear the app. Everything starts working again, sans progress. The game is fun, I just can't play it.

Game looks amazing and I'm sure its fun, but I literally can't play it. After finishing the first tutorial mission and getting the three booster packs the game won't load the second tutorial mission. I even tried it on another device and it still wouldn't work. One device was an apple and the other was an android. This couldn't be a platform specific bug, there's a real problem with the game. Please fix because id love to play it

It's good. No ads just small microtransactions. It's simple and yet still requires some thought. Tho it has a kinda "pay to win" element which isn't as bad as some games. However, the 8-bit art style and sound effects are great. I played the actual game on my Xbox and I'm still failing at why this was made other than money. Good game with simple and easy to pick up mechanics.

I've dropped a few hours into this game, and I'm not sure if it's a CCG, a puzzle game, a dungeon crawler, or somewhere in between, but it's a blast. As a fan of Rivals of Aether, I was skeptical of this new take on the IP, but it's rapidly becoming my new favorite strategy game on mobile. The graphics, sound, and music are all beautifully executed (as is the case in RoA), the gameplay is exciting and challenging, and the monetization is exceptionally non-aggressive. Easily recommended to all!

I'm not really into card games but this seems to have some pretty fun gameplay. I won't know for sure because the game slows to a stop before I can finish my first match, AND it slows my whole phone down In the proccess. I tried to wait and let it sort itself out, but that made it nearly impossible to even turn my phone off. I spent 5 min trying to turn my phone back on until I had to force it on by charging it. If there's a fix, let me know, and if the music starts gliching close app imediately

While the game looks like it would be fun, I can't play it. Due to technical problems the game doesn't work. It's really weird. For a little while it plays buttery smooth, but after a few minutes it either drops the frame rate to 1 every few seconds or just straight up freezes. During the tutorial it showed downbut once I got to matches is when it started freezing. I am assuming that lil Timmy is a bot and even that freezes the game. I want this game to work since its fib but it doesn't work.

There's not too many people to matchmake with as of yet to keep fighting new people while ranking up. Overall, it's easy to pick up and play to pass the time with as I enjoy the pixel art of these named card characters that could've been originally made for the main game. However, it can get stale with time if it doesn't add a substantial amount of new content along the way. I think a quirky story mode off on the side could be amusing for a little while if written well for new&old players.

I just started playing the game, and the concept of it is nice. Sadly there are a few issues I am having with it. I cannot look at my cards info or level them up when I press the buttons that are supposed to allow it. Those are pretty basic mistakes. Other than that the game has a unique battle system that I enjoy. The monster designs for the cards are also well done. I just wish those previous options I mentioned were working properly.

Seems like a cool concept, and I already love the universe and characters, but it constantly freezes up and has me wait for minutes on end. It can be at the start of a match, opening the game, or just trying to collect a reward. Makes it hard to just chill and enjoy the game. Also there doesn't seem to be a friends list, just the option to look up a username and battle your friend that way each time. It works, but a list would let me see who's online already and send a battle invite.

Love the creator, really wish Rivals took off. However, this game is just a bland clunky concept wrapped up in gorgeous wrapping paper. The game itself can be very confusing even with the direction. Mechanics are made somewhat clear, but the strategy element is foggy at best. Of course its a card game which lends itself to a gatcha type system. Literally upgrading cards with coins. Gets a very hearthstone "technically" f2p feel to it. Worth trying out, but I doubt you'll like it.

Update was great guys!!! For anyone confused on how to play, whoever has the most cards on the field wins. You steal each other's cards based on the power level and the one you're trying to take. Example. If one is top left corner, if you're attacking from the bottom, your top number will need to be higher than their bottom number. Multiple cards can be taken at once depending on positioning. It's really great strategy. 👍When I have some suggestions I'll update my review.

The game has super fun strategic elements, plus there's the card collecting bit, which is always fun. The art and animation is pretty neat as well. My favorite part, though, is that there isn't all that much in the store that you have to buy with for real money. The biggest thing that I want changed is the fact that there's no offline way to play. It'd be super neat if you could play, like, the regular dungeon or a computer offline.

Is simple cards game with some odd skill but is fun, it can be pay to win but a least is cheap. the tutorial is fine but the most I don't like much is the dungeon mode (singleplayer mode). When both you and the opponent have a tie, you end up losing and lose a life point which it's not fair. I prefer start the match again than losing a life point.

It's a pretty solid game for an abstract numbers game. That being said, it's doing a weird thing of trying to make a bunch of units that feel unique when the actual unit interaction is very simplistic. It's not bad, mind you, it's just a pretty limited possibility space for the mechanics, so most of the units end up feeling pretty samey, and the game gets old after a bit- especially since more often than not matchmaking can't find me an opponent before it suggests I just play a bot.
