I'd be lost without it. EDIT: 7 years on this platform and now they just informed me I have to pay 40 a year in order to schedule anything 30 days out! Now, this app has become a useless calendar for anyone unless they're willing to pay for a subscription! I understand wanting to make money, but making it USELESS wasn't the right way to go... offer other perks for the subscription, but that was a LOW move cozi. Wow.

Recent updates have cut off my access to my calendar for the entire summer. I had important dates, notes, lodging confirmation numbers for travel, addresses of events in the event notes, now inaccessible because I use the free version. I'm not shelling out $39 a year for the Gold version. Totally uncool. After more than 10 years using cozi, I'm deleting your app off my phone.

So disappointed! I have used the free w/ ads version of the app for 10 years. It was a great way to sync family lists for groceries & trips esp between iPhones & Androids. But a recent update removed use of widgets for free users, which was the primary way I accessed those lists. Cozi was helpful but I don't use it enough to justify paying for it, now I will be uninstalling & not using it at all. Edit: I can see it's not just me! Hope they fix it.

Our family has been using this for years & with NO notice lost previously free features. All appointments that are more than 30 days out can't be changed or edited, fine, but they can't even be SEEN. We have medical appointments, practices & reminders, we can't even VIEW them. Again, with NO NOTICE. We weren't even given a chance to look at or download our current calendar. I notice you also can't look back at the last 30 days either! I used to recommend cozi to everyone, but not anymore!

Used to love the app and had recommended it to several friends and family members. The recent change to only show one month of events forced us to shift to Google calendar, which has other free features that are very convenient (like search). That they gave basically no notice demonstrates their values and it is apparent that is not the customer. I no longer would recommended this app unless you want to pay for the upgraded version.

Good, but they took away more helpful features. Our family has used Cozi for a decade & loved it. Recently they changed some features that are now only available in the subscription model. Notification of a new calendr event used to be free; now it's not. The widget used to show the calendr, but now just advertises..sometimes it opens the app correctly, other times ONLY allows you to see the ad. AND with the latest update you can only see 30 ahead unless you pay for the gold version.

This app was great value when it was free with ads. Now that it forced us to start paying to schedule a month in advance there need to be many more improvements to justify paying again another year. First of all the app is bad compared to the iPhone version of the app. Second the widget is terrible. A widget that allows me to see the calenda on my home screen is the most important thing to me. It doesn't scroll at all. basically a screenshot of the next 3 events. you can't click into events.

Like everyone else, we have been using this app happily for many years. The ads weren't terrible and were necessary for an easy to use free app. However, when they took away the widgets and limited the free calendar to 30 days, it became pretty much useless!! You can still access your calendar from a desktop, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the app on your phone. Time to move on!! I refuse to pay them anything after this nonsense.

Disappointed with removal of items from free version. I went in to look for a future appointment and discovered I can only see a month out. I can't even add a future appointment. Cozi, not really smart! And then the price for premium is twice what I remember. I will be transitioning to Google calendar after using this app for over a decade. Way to go and alienate users Cozi!!!

Update: For a couple weeks now the widgets advertise about upgrading to Gold and you can't exit out of the add. I've tried removing and adding the widgets and reinstalling the app. None of it works. This takes away one of the most convenient features. We can keep all of our appointments on here and share with each other. It's easy to filter.

I am extremely disappointed with the new update. We have used Cozi for years, if I were to guess 8 years, probably more since I remember using it on my PC. With the new update I must have the Gold version to put something on my calendar that is more than 30 days out. I cant even look at things I put on the calendar (before the update) a few months out now. This app is useless to my family now. $39 a year is ridiculous, if it was a one time charge I'd think about it

Used to love this app. Did everything we needed on the free version. Now, they blocked every useful feature by requiring "gold" status rendering it virtually useless. Can't plan anything more than 30 days out, can't notify of new events, etc. Etc. At the moment, only making lists seems to be the one remaining feature until I'm sure they'll lock that down somehow.

My girlfriend and I have used this app for years and have loved it. Having our shopping list as a widget on my home screen has been invaluable. Over the past couple of months, this app has taken a greedy nosedive. First an annoying ad at the bottom of our shopping list begging to go gold. Now I can't even see the widget anymore without going gold. No thanks, we are moving to a different app that doesn't block the widget with a pay wall. Bye.

Beware of shady business practices! We have used this app for years and it was a little glitchy, but it was free, so I continued to use it. Last night, when I needed to make a calendar update, I was suddenly unable to view any of my calendar entries out more than 30 days unless I upgraded to a paid annual subscription (no monthly payment option). I had no warning of this change and I was unable to access my own data until I paid the fee. I would not recommend this app.

I have been using the Cozi app for the calendar and shopping features for over 10 years and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately several months ago Cozi shopping was no longer able to link with Alexa so we stopped using that feature. Now they want us to pay $40 to be able to view a month in advance on our calendars? Sorry Cozi, it's not worth the money for that! Very disappointing as our family has grown accustomed to just "look on the Cozi". Guess we'll have to switch to something different.

Edit: Without warning, most features have been moved behind a paywall, including things as basic as widgets. App is now so inconvenient it's almost pointless. Have changed my rating to reflect current state, and will be switching to a new app from now on. Goodbye, Cozi. (Old review: An extremely useful tool for families and households, keeping track of groceries, appointments, etc, and keeping everyone organized.)

DON'T DO IT! You'll lose your info and functionality or be forced to pay. I've been using this app happily and appreciatively for over 10 years. It's been great, and I've recommended it a bunch. However, in the latest update (which we were NOT warned about - I received no email), we have lost all the things that are so helpful. Basically, our info has been locked down, and if we want the ability to still use the calendar in a functional way, we have to pay. Disrespectful to long-time customers!

Locking previously free features behind a paid subscription is an absolute dealbreaker. You now have to pay to view the calendar as anything other than an agenda, or look ahead more 30 days, or even put the widgets on your home screen! And those are just the changes I've noticed so far. That is insanity. I could never justify the price for gold before, and this is clearly just a move to 'add' more value to the subscription by taking away free features.

I have been a customer for 9 years, sometimes using the free version but mostly using the paid, Gold version. About a year ago it stopped loading properly on my laptop. I contacted customer support who was no help. So, for the past year I've dealt with issues that were inconvenient and added xtra time (I had the Gold account). Now, they've raised pricing and stripped down the free version so much that it's not usable for me. Sadly, this means I'll be leaving Cozi for something else.

I have been using this app for years and have liked the functionality. Recently, the push notifications stopped working. And today, with nearly no warning, most of the free features are requiring a gold membership. I can only access my calendar 30 days in advance on the app, and none of the widgets are functional any more. Very disappointing when all of my appointments are scheduled in here, and are now difficult to access. Guess I'll be switching to another system.
