Holy adds. Wow. 100% not worth it. Nearly EVERY click in the app results in an add popping up. Several of which require you to wait 3-5 seconds before you can click out. I don't track nearly enough stuff to necessitate a paid subscription, so I deleted this and will just resort to using Google search to track "how many days until" a specific event.

I like it! Works for me. I use it to keep track of the numbers of days till next payday. Also appointments and other important dates.Apart from that I paid for fonts and their great. All in all it keeps me on track. There's one countdown that I assigned 20 days to get it done. There by helping me maintain awareness that time is ticking. Very helpful indeed.

Used to be stellar and I gave 5 stars. Still an intuitive app with nice widgets but at the expense of relentless, repetitive ads on free version. $12.89 per WEEK is the most ludicrous subscription price I have ever seen for such a basic app.. more than streaming services? Come on! Maybe as a one time charge I'd pay $12.89 for basic with no ads.. but now I hesitate to even open the app because some stupid ad will be blaring at me

Got 5 ads while making my first timer. Nothing is worth this. Open app? Ad. Make timer? Ad. Leave app to check your calendar and come back? Ad. Finish countdown? 30 second unskippable ad. Gross. Edit to reflect their reply: the amount of ads are egregious. I understand you have costs of development, but it is an absurd amount of ads. I'm not paying for your product to stop annoying me, and I'm not willing to sit through that amount of ads before deciding if it's even worth paying for.

Less than 10 minutes and I experienced 6 ads. It makes count down timers but if I get 3 ads on average setting up a count down it's not worth it. Edit: use Time Until for a better version of this app. The company justifying the amount of ads as the *free* version doesn't change anything. You didn't do anything remarkable or ground breaking. Slamming ads harder than a twitch streamer isn't going to have people use your product.

Literally couldn't load the app up for the first time without seeing an ad. Edit: this app makes a timer to countdown, not only cant I imagine why it would need a premium version but it is still inexcusable that the free version can't even load the app for the very first time without seeing an ad. Whatever premium version you have I didn't even get the chance to think about purchasing before I was inundated with ads. Even if I had the desire to purchase it that flame was snuffed before it loaded

I tried this app in 2017 and found it buggy. I tried it again in 2024, and I will never try it again. It plays an unskippable ad after every tap, making it non-navigable. Stopping the ads requires a premium subscription. It costs the ludicrous price of $15 per week. Shocking, inexcusable, and permanently alienating. That's nearly $800 per year. Competing countdown apps are free simply with banner ads.

The ads are full screen and require you to wait before exiting. Terrible for a productivity app. What's worse is when I tried to create a widget they asked me to sign up for a free trial of the ad-free version. In fine print it indicates that this free week is followed by a recurring $14.99 per WEEK subscription fee! That's an obscene amount that should not be allowed on the Play Store. I can pay less than that per YEAR for a TB of cloud storage. What is this app doing to earn that kind of fee?

Awful, had this app for years but putting it on a new phone find that they've ruined it. Can't make even one countdown due to ads. Also, double check that price for premium. They want $14.99 per week! I guess they want to slip that in unnoticed. Can't get this garbage off my phone fast enough. Update: After reading "developer's" automatic response to mine and other commenters regarding un-useabilty & fantasy $60.00 per month...this simple app has to be hijacked. Google Play...do your job.

Ads make this unusable. I was entering my first countdown & an ad started, after it ended, I lost all of my progression. I had to start over again. I was finally able to enter two countdowns, but every time I just want to check them, I have to sit through a long ad. This is NOT worth it & to pay $15 to stop the ads is RIDICULOUS. This was a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. I understand they make money off the ads, but make it so we can see the ad AND view our countdown at the same time like other aps.

Ads are relentless for the free version. I refuse to be pressured into paying, but what's worse is the cost: $15/wk subscription. HOLY HELL. Not worth it, for me. If you are fine with the $ or don't mind the ads, then the app seems okay. Home screen widgets are rather easily customized, with lots of options. Colors are kind of whacky to tune in, but you'll get peppered with ads while you adjust and check. Hence... here I am, uninstalling it only a few minutes later.

Far too many ads and $11/WEEK premium cost??????? In the free version an ad pops up every time you attempt a function. Then you get an invitation to a subscription of $11 PER WEEK for the non-ad premium version. Are you insane? Nearly $600/year for an app that does basic addition and subtraction of dates???? That's more than my cellphone bill!!!! More than any streaming service!!!!

Elegant, simple app that works very well w/o issues or unnecessary nonsense. Update 9/2024. As before. Interface is a bit tricky but that may be me. I have it in constant use. Alert: I downloaded it early, before the ads appeared. Would I pay $11/month for it - NO. That's a ridiculous amount; a scam for the unwary. Too many cheap or free alternatives - like my phone's calendar.

This widget used to be amazing. I used it for many years and previously would have given it 5 stars. However, its latest updates, relentless ads, and obscene price point for the paid version have made it unusable. The paid version might unlock new possibilities as the company claims, but nothing in this is worth $15 a week. That's too much even for a one-time payment. Ads pop too frequently and last so long that you can't update a counter without a struggle. It's not worth anything now.

I previously paid to unlock the premium features as it used to be a one time payment. Now I've lost what I've had all this time, am slammed with ads non-stop, and to get the premium version back, I have to pay $14.99 a week?!? You cannot tell me that this app is worth $60 a month ($780 if you pay weekly all year). Complete betrayal to anyone who has previously paid to unlock the premium features. It was great for a while, but it's time to say goodbye. 👋

The ads are so overwhelming. I was testing it to see if it would be the timer app I need. Open the app, ad. Go to switch windows on my phone to grab the date I need from my calendar, another ad immediately when I return less than 2-3 seconds. Go to look for another date, another ad. Like my goodness. I understand needing support for the ad, but this is WAY too much.

THEYRE TRYING TO SIGN PEOPLE UP FOR $780/YEAR!!! This is beyond expensive, it's BASICALLY AN ATTEMPTED SCAM of people who aren't paying attention. This used to be a good app. Now they push you to a $15 PER WEEK PAYMENT, which is ridiculous for a simple timer. Otherwise you get highly intrusive unskippable ads. I would be open to a $6 one time payment or perhaps 5/year. For the price of a new phone every year, you get a single number on your home screen. DELETED!

I have used this widget for years, probably more than is healthy 😅 I use it both to count down to events and to count days/ weeks/months since an event. It helps me keep track of upcoming birth days, healing times on piercings/tattoos, my childrens' ages with unnecessary specificity. I love it. It was one of the first things I installed when I got a new phone. Can't do without it.

Creates a countdown. Displays it in a widget. Does it reliably and well. A great app to track number of days to a holiday, vacation, retirement, etc. I've used it for years now, and have been (mostly - see below) happy with it Previously: This is supposed to be "ad free" with Play Pass. Now, relentless ads. They've violated their Play Pass agreement, so 1 star.

I've used for 10+ years. No ads. I don't work & only use free or open source apps. Maybe I paid a dollar? Works fine, love it! The only "Premium Feature" on menu is a backup I don't use. What does this paid version have now? I have the features shown. Colors & fonts, it's only a widget, should be free! New cost must be a typo - or a fever dream, whoa! Keeping mine unless it changes. My YouTube Premium is only 13.99 per MONTH ad free, plenty to watch & I pay in Google Play Points! Peace ☮️💜!
