I was trying to write a positive review for a product, but the app seems to be designed to make it as hard as possible. Even though I am logged in, they require me to manually enter my email, location, costco membership number, purchase date and other stuff that they already know. Date fields are implemented as plain text boxes instead of date pickers. And after I put up with all this BS they say "oops, something went wrong". It's like the app is designed by someone who's never seen other apps.

This app is all weird. I hit to renew my membership and it brought up a deal about a sectional! It won't stop bringing up the couch. I had my card to auto renew and it hasn't done anything. So now I have to wait to make sure I don't get double charged. A lot of buttons you click will randomly direct you elsewhere. You have to exit it then click again to get to the menu option you selected. I've clicked on products before just for it to continually bring up something unrelated.

The app literally resets every time you leave the window. So if you're trying to research an item, looking at the page on the app, and you switch over to a different app on your phone to look at reviews or price comparisons, you go back to the costco app and it will have refreshed and you have to completely start over with your search to get back to the product or product category. INFURIATING and absurd behavior that should never happen.

It's Costco. Of course I'm gonna give it 5 stars! However, a recent update seems to have made it impossible to see prices of things that are "member only items". You add the membership number (which is on the account tab) and it refreshes but still prompts for the number. Makes it difficult to shop on the phone. :/ Edit: had to uninstall / reinstall. This time they asked for credit report info which might be why it didn't work prior.

It is an app and technically works, but I have issue with it's service to me. It seems the app is more than primarily, even singularly for online ordering for delivery. Yes, you can search to see if Costco carries a particular item but if you want to find it in the store (if you can even get a signal, wifi?) the app has no value. Today I was in a store and the app kept stating I was shopping in a different store. I finally figured that the item I was shopping for was not available in my store!

Decided to try the app again after a couple of years (had previously uninstalled due to glitches). The app still needs work. Keeps changing delivery zip code. When I input the correct one and hit save, it acts like it's saving, but then right away displays some other zip code I've never heard of.

I am a Costco fan. I'd like to see this mobile product improved. Pros: - digital card id - that you can use at the door to your location or when paying for gas. Cons: - poor side project, look, feel and user experience -- like a mobile website inside of an app - if you want to purchase more of an awesome item, you cant, search doesn't find it. - slow - many times when you open it, it takes time before you can get to your id. - switching to other apps on your phone and returning, resets state

they brought back the savings tab which is great. thank you. so that brings it up by one star. now it would be great if the app did not restart the second i navigate away from the app. i go to a different to app to check on something for a few seconds and when i come back to the Costco app it starts at the home page and i have to waste time getting back to where i was

There are so many unfixed bugs in this app that make the entire experience unpleasant. For instance, when you click on an item from a promotional email, it redirects you to the main page of the app instead of the item itself. Additionally, if you background the app while viewing an item, and then switch back to the app, it throws you back to the main page. The list of bugs seems endless...

It's a good app for buying just about all the Costco items you love, but it has been very buggy for me. Sometimes it doesn't recognize that I'm not a member, sometimes it gets stuck on loading screens. The "find my automotive battery" menu doesn't work. The search engine is horrible, you need to search super specific words to find specific items. The app needs work.

Nice to have on my phone. But the caching is broken. You leave the app for a second and come back and it's a complete reload of the page you were on. Pictures constantly load, which takes forever. Search is also broken. It never works. You search for an item and it just takes you to a main page with deals and other stuff. It's bordering on useless.

Hate using this app. You're in the middle of searching where you have selected everything all your filters and you're looking through the products. Then if you get a call or have to switch over to another app you come back to it and it boots you right back to the beginning losing all of your search criteria. That is ridiculous!!!!! Costco people have other lives and they shouldn't have to start all the way over just because they switch off of the app for a second.

The most recent update has surfaced a ton of errors in the app. If I scroll down a page too quickly, it shoots me right back up to the top of the page. Trying to login with my password manager has been impossible, and you don't seem to be able to move past the first page of the app without granting location permissions any time you're using the app (why do they _need_ my location at all? Feels like this should be an optional permission to grant).

Horrible app specifically designed to frustrate. All I want to do is see what is in stock at my local Costco and all this app wants to do is make that as difficult as humanely possible. When you turn off 'Delivery' it does absolutely nothing. Every category is still dominated by 'Online Only'. After you spend 5 minutes searching and drilling down to an item, if focus shifts for any reason, like a text, it jumps straight back to the top screen and you have to start over. Utter trash design.

Atrocious app. Can't click on many links, painstakingly tedious "filter" when narrowing down seach results (even though it's check box style, you can only check ONE box at a time-- WHY can't multiple boxes be checked at once?!?), the "include out of stock" filter is applied by default (WHO is searching for out of stock items?), if app is left for whatever reason, the page you were on disappears and the painstaking re-search/filter of items ensues. 1 star for app-ready Costco card alternative.

Most annoying app on my phone! No matter how many times I set my location for the warehouse and delivery zip code, it keeps defaulting back to someplace far far away. I even allow location permissions for the app hoping it will help but it doesn't. I set the location then try to shop. By the 3rd page I look up and notice I'm back in Pennsylvania. I live in Texas! Why can't this app remember where I'm at and stop defaulting to some other location? It's pretty much unusable for me.

Would be much more helpful if it wasn't so glitchy. On two different phones now, the app allows me to sign in and connect my membership without a problem. However, it always changes my default warehouse and delivery zipcode to a location over 90 miles away. No matter what I do, whether location is turned on or off, it instantly switches back every time I fix it. It usually results in me closing the app without finishing what I was trying to work on or find. Not unusable but very frustrating.
