Would be great if there was less platforming challenges which make the game feel extremely tedious at times.

Really great original take on a classic. I played years ago and I'm happy to see the recent expansions. Idk if the premium purchase did much, but the developers deserve it.

Absolute gem of a game, beautiful graphics, really hits that gba pokemon nostalgia but with a better story, interesting mechanics and better animation, price is an absolute steal. Haven't played pvp, playing as an offline game though going online gives you some extra features. Playing it with a backbone and a Razer Kishi, works perfectl! Must play

Lovely mon collector that scratches the itch after Pokemon getting stale. Didn't want to leave a review before hitting the end but after 40 hours and finally a perfect team I guess it should be said the game is well done. Base game is only €5 which is fairly priced, I'd dare to say even cheap. Puzzles sometimes hard to perform on mobile, but with easy access to saves they are fine once you train a bit (I suck at platforms so most people should be fine). Big recommendation, try it buy it.

Amazing. This game just oozes charm and is polished to a mirror shine. Just bought the full version and I'm really excited to continue my adventure. The devs have refined what made the core of Pokemon great, and innovated in a bunch of really impactful ways (particularly in the addition of SP and the manual assigning of EVs or 'potential') The aesthetics are second to none. Walking into that cave in the paid version for the first time felt amazing. Every location is distinct and beautiful.

Great game with amazing pixelart designs and a good storyline. The game has a variety of puzzle solving and turnabased battle gameplay. Love the warm in-game sound design and musi as well.

A cute Pokémon-esque monster catching RPG. Good music, graphics, and deep progression options. You can try out the game for free, but the full game requires a one-time purchase to unlock (worth it, IMO)

I really enjoyed this game game when it came out, took forever for the full release. I just tried to purchase $10 worth of style coins only to have it freeze and erase my progress. I would appreciate compensation for this error.

Fun monster tamer, potential/prefect system condenses a few concepts down into one simpler one which is nice. Finding online matches can be hit or miss, it would be nice if we could queue in the background while doing other things.

I am an early access player from back in 2020, Even at the early stages, I enjoyed the heck out of this game so much, mainly due the fact it's clearly inspired off pokémon, like any other games I know of, and secondly because it's also its own game at the same time. Don't get me started on the graphics, music, gameplay and everything nice. Though as the description says, you have to pay to access the full game, I'm telling you it's totally worth it, so it's nice that the devs let you test play.

What to say, amazing game. But I think the design philosophy is flawed. Is it a tamer game, or a puzzle game. Sad as the tamer part of game is near perfect . But shoving puzzles down the players throat . Becomes redundant after a while then to shove them all into one area. Near end of game. Huh? Spend a good.80 percent solving puzzles and not fighting monsters. Makes the whole game feel disconnected. This is a good example of what not to do in making an idea. Try to stick to what works.

Im not too deep into the game yet, I think. At the moment I need to jump these tiles which collapse underneath you if you don't jump to the next one in time... This mechanic is totally bad. Because success rate is seemingly random, leading to many, many retries of the same thing. I'm just imagining when I am aiming to replay the game on higher difficulty, it will be things like this that holds me back.

great game, lots of updates and fun to play :-) Changed my review since I changed phones and despite saving to cloud and connecting my Nintendo account, it still didn't back up my saves, they're not transferable so I've lost all my progress. Paid for the game too so that was pointless.

Excellent game. I would highly recommend this title to both veteran and new monster tamer fans alike. The mobile version offers a very reasonable pricing compromise. $5 for the base game and an optional $5-$6 for a quality of like package (portable coromon storage, free fast travel, etc). These items are included in the base game of the $20 Switch & PC versions.

The toggle "Easy trainer battles (select a squad member after an opponent faints)" isn't working for me. On, off, doesn't matter. No prompt to swap my active after knocking out an opponent. That aside, the game has gone above and beyond my hopes. Custom difficulty settings, to include nuzlocke options? Unique designs for healing centers? Leveling adds to your move pool rather than FORGETTING older moves? It truly has everything other games miss! Oh, and you gotta love the Baelin easter egg! ^^

I haven't finished the game yet but put so many hours in, I figured it was time to review. This hits the spot for an updated GBA Creature-style game. I was initially weary because I'm not interested in the pvp, but so far that seems optional. I opted for mobile due to wanting that handheld experience. I justified the "premium" items as matching the PC price. I'm not a f2p person, so love having the full game. Most other store items seem optional as well/

Excellent port of a pretty good creature catcher. Main issue now is I'm stuck in the section where you have to dodge things as a ghost. Really unfortunate how precise timing and movement sections meant to break up the gameplay end up ruining the experience because of horrible touch controls. There should be a way to skip these silly trials so players can focus on what makes the game good.

This game is such a fun one. Goes at your own pace, it's kinda classic pokemon esque, and unlike most mobile games you don't have to spend money to do well (however you do have to spend a total of $5 to get full experience, didn't bother me tho). It also has a battle selection where you can play against others online, which I have yet to test but seems like it will be fun. The story is quite solid, and there are puzzles which will rack you brain and test your resolve. Overall a very solid game.
