The ADS! WTH? I used to love this app. It's fine still on my laptop, but on my phone it's ridiculous. Delete an email, you get an ad. Open an email & every few seconds, another ad. I've used Hotmail over 20 years, same address. I'm ready to delete my account & switch to anything else.

Have just started using annoying pop up ads which are on a timer before you can be free of them and actually read your emails. Used to be a great app but now it's become very frustrating and annoying to use. Such a shame to see something that was great now become unfriendly, unusable and unprofessional.

I've now used this for over a year and it has got progressively worse. I never liked the idea of lumping all items of a conversation into one entry, because you have to keep scrolling down every time you read an email, to make sure you've not missed several others. However, I stuck with it, even though it was hit and miss, when deleting an email. Also, it was too easy to delete an email accidentally, even though I was aware of the "swipe right" method of deleting. It now keeps freezing.

Can not check sender address. Can not swipe while in search mode. And there are other options as well that this app does not have that I can do just on my saved Chrome link.

I have been using this AP for some time now and it seems to be getting worse since there has been an increase in pop up ads? It Won't send, won't delete, and won't receive.. she starts up like an old Chevy with a manula choke carburetor... let er warm up .. and after 10 min or so.. seems to "run" better. If you shut it down .. wait 10 min and do a restart .. better pull the choke out again and let er run for 10 min... to warm up .. 2 years ago it was certainly a 5 star AP.. now is different.

Warning......do not update, it will lock your account into some 3rd party data mining app with no option to opt out....clicking opt out does nothing and now I have a Chinese hack on my phone ..... uninstall immediately

Thinking of closing down this email account due to the amount of advertising popping up all of a sudden. Full page adverts that cannot be turned off until the bloody timer is out. I dont want advertising. If I want something I will google for it!! This advertising is getting out of control!!! Weeks later I'm adding to this review! What the hell is going on with all the pop up ads? I cannot go out of an email without bloody afs everywhere. I have to shut the app and go back into it to see email

Version 45 isn't loading all my emails properly. Edit - Another update, another issue!! Now the app isn't updating or loading all emails. Can you please fix these issues!! Love the app and usually don't have any issues ... until the last few updates. Update - After installing the 3rd update the app is back to working properly again. Thanks for addressing the issue!! Just did the newest update and app still is not working!! After the most recent update the app won't open.

I have had Hotmail forever now. They forced I clicked my saved name and password. And it says that I have tried to log on too many times and it locked me out. I only tried once and I used the password that I just redid a couple months ago anyway. And it still locked me out, why? What? I mean, I'm with everyone else on this. Thinking about just changing my email. I get entirely too many emails anyway. I might go for a real one this time, not hotmail.

I can't read my mail for the ads. I tap a mail and I get an ad. In the middle of reading a piece of mail an ad pops over it. The only way to stop this is close the app and reopen. No arrow to go back to mail unless you watch the whole ad. This mail.app SUCKS. Especially in a business meeting suddenly you can't see the mail for an ad.

I've been using hotmail for over 15 years at this point. In the last year, the hotmail app has installed pop up ads that you can't close and play through for about 15-20 seconds in the middle of reading your emails. Seriously?? Maybe I need to finally make a new account on Gmail. What a pain! As everything is tied to my hotmail account! Super disappointed in these ridiculous ads just to check my own emails

My email is getting hijacked by adds. You can't close it either until the allotted time is up. It's infuriating! My email experience is not the same. There is no control any longer. I've had this email for many years and now I think it's time for a change. Basically when I open my email it's then hijacked by the commercials and adds. It sucks now.

I was forced to update 2 days ago. This update cleared out all my emails in ny Inbox, archive and all my other folders, except Junk Mail. I want my saved emails back. The new update is total BS! After using this same Hotmail account for over a quarter of a century, I am looking for a different email app. The developer's response advice to my review was also wrong. Their suggestion did not work. I was trying their "trigger" before I recieved the "no-reply" email.

Note...2022 ... Now there are game adds that take up my time waiting for them to cycle through. I'm ready to switch elsewhere. 2021.... The adds take over the screen and are virtually impossible go get by. This app is easy to get around, etc. 2 things I would suggest.... allow us to delete both junk and delete bins AND remove those advertisements that keep overtaking my email viewing.

Love the easy to understand Options in settings, and the rooting out of Spam does for me, with the option to save or move them before I dump the in Deleted Folder, and one last chance in end to recover before hitting that Delete Button, LOL! Good job you guys! O, by the way I Hate that now ADs are popping up in my text message app., You need to fix this Now, what's next, ads popping up on screen in middle of an actual phone call. Google, Way too Invasive, with Ads & location Tracking! Help! Bud
