Bought a bad stylus for capacitive screens. I mean it works as it should but as it should, it comes with a lot of jitter. You've probably seen the stylus I'm talking about. it has a blue light and it's on Amazon. Concepts has the ability to stabilize strokes, without any input lag at all from my experience (Galaxy S20 FE). In conjunction with this pen, it works so well. Just find the sweet spot for you. For me it's 18% stability. it feels as if I have a normal pen that works.

The app is great. It's best for beginners and the interface is just so aesthetic. However, ite edit mode is not worth $14. You get infinite layers and ability to edit. That's it. No other tools that are available on other apps. It's just sad that I see some feature mentioned in the YouTube tutorials and don't see it in my app that I paid $14 for. Maybe vector drawing is the main reason for such cost. Maybe I will change my review after a while, but now I am just frustrated on what to do next.

The paid version is so worth it. The unconventional workflow takes a little getting used to, but it is a very powerful tool set. I love that the canvas is boundless, or if I set an art board size, I can draw past the edge. I like setting "finger action" to "nudge". Now I can quickly draw with the stylus and immediately make an adjustment with my finger, without having to select a different tool. I'm impressed!

Just a heads up if you have a 2016 or older tablet. I loved the app, bought the add ons, and it became my go-to drawing app. I just paid for the app AGAIN for Windows so I could work on my Concepts files on my PC. After the last update, the Android app crashed every time I tried to resize anything. Tech support was unable to find a solution so they told me that my 2016 Samsung tablet is just too old. Too bad I can't go back to the previous version.

Honestly amazing app. I've drawn more with this than with most other apps I've tried. The infinite canvas makes it easy to treat as a sketchbook. That, and the one time purchases make this an easy five star. That said, I have just one thing I'd improve. I think that being able to zoom in and out infinitely would be very helpful. At this point, my drawings take up more space than the max screen size. Maybe a button to zoom to contain all content would be good.

So far it gives me almost everything I need to make art and I love the smoothing feature a lot! One thing I would like is a bucket feature or a way to fill in an area with any color. The current "fill" feature just allows you to place a filled-in shape in the photo, but it isn't convenient when it comes to filling in an already existing area. Otherwise, my favorite drawing software. 9/10

Concepts is a great app in the making. So far I have bought all the adds ons. There are a few issues that plague this app. One of them is that while drawing, menus keep popping up causing me to accidentally select and change settings. While trying to change pen settings, such as the opacity, the size of the pen will be changed, this of course is very frustrating. The Fill tool is not a good replacement for a bucket tool. Update 1/1/21: for the love of God allow us to turn off Tap & Hold!

The layout of tools is aesthetically pleasing, simple, and accessible. However, Concepts is missing one crucial tool that other drawing apps like Fresco, Clip Studio, and ibisPaint X all have, Folders. Having folders allows grouping without merging, so that we can move whole parts in one folder without it being merged. When multiple layers are grouped in the folders, the individual layers can still be edited. Hope this feature is added in the future! 7/10 overall for Concepts.

I use Concepts for 90% of my stickers in my shop. Now that there's a backup option it's much easier to go from my phone to my desktop and export high resolution PNGs for production. The only complaints I have are: 1. My Galaxy Note 9 is unable to export highest resolution files. Often crashing. Backing up files and finishing on my desktop has helped fix that issue. 2. No fill tool. Having that option would speed up the process immensely.

Such a great way to get into digital art, and to design sketches of characters, scenes, etc. But if I had to change a few things, I would probably get some more flexiblity in the app, like with the number of imports available, it seems unfair to give people the ability to sketch freely, but to not give them any availability to put in references for sketches easily. Another thing, is that it feels like a finished art program, and the eraser is broken. Thank you, and sorry I couldn't fit more in.

Was good for concept sketches. Being able to change the angle of the canvas like it's a piece of paper is nice. The app is unsuitable for anything that requires precision such as pixel art or drafting. I also wouldn't attempt anything wordy in this app. Overall: It's fussy, limted, but useable. There are no ads; although, some of the features are locked unless you pay. UPDATE: ML was added, which makes it feel untrustworthy; I'm lowering my score and uninstalling the app.

It's a great drawing app. However, they really limit the tools you can use if you're not on iOS. Even with the pro version, you don't even get simple things like favoriting your colors to find them easier. On their site, they do have some options from IOS that they are starting to implement for andriod/windows, but pallete options just seem to have no support at all.

The app is alright. I initially really liked it, but for its price it's not everything I hoped. There is no fill tool, which is very unfortunate. It also lost my subscription (one time purchase) with the new update. I'm signed into a personal and a work google account. Even though I was signed into the correct account in the concepts app, it wants me to re-buy for the other google account with no in app way to switch it back.

Free version is not vector. You can only draw freestyle. There's no line, circle, rectangle, or other shapes to use. If it had shapes and the ability to manipulate it, I would have at least bought the vector pdf export version for $5.00. $29.99 is too much money, especially since a reviewer said it's possible to loose your one time payment. I hate knowing I could loose my lifetime payment and nothing can be done about it. I will not recommend this product to anyone!

As someone extremely picky about all of my apps, this one has been one of the best I have paid for. Searching for a combination note-taking/artboard application to use for mind mapping, I came across Concepts. It is feature-rich with practical tools, user-friendly and intuitive. If you have latency issues, just check your apps settings. I have been using it for about a month and have had none. A $25 lifetime subscription and users give 1 ⭐ 🤯. Understand what the app is for first.

Really like the app. I use it both on my phone and computer with graphics tablet. It's a great combination of being both simple and easy to use, but also having enough features to produce quality content. I do find that sometimes when I open it the app has 'forgotten' that I have access to the pro features which is really frustrating. Also would be good to access files between my phone/laptop Would be great to combine shape guides for more complex precision drawing.

Exactly what I was looking for, but was pretty disappointed at the lack of project syncing between my samsung tab and Samsung phone. I know it's a work in progress, in the meantime I used another app I paid for called "drivesync" (an automatic google drive syncing tool for Android), and set up an auto sync folder pair for both internal storage locations for concepts, then it syncs my project files between both devices automatically. Paid for the full version, hope we see live collab & sync soon!

The art is amazing. ONE of the very few free or reasonably priced art apps. BUT.. There is one main issue. Where is the smudge tool or a tool similar. I love smudging my art.. So learning to have to deal without it is a struggle and a half along with the blur tool. If you can place these in I just need them direly. Things I love about this app : Functionality, it's easy to get adjusted to Infinite landscape Reasonable prices + Free Smooth connection, draws where placed Saves automatically

This is my favorite drawing app. The infinite canvas is ideal for situations where you don't know exactly how much space you'll need, but it wouldn't make sense to split it on to multiple pages (e.g. a mind map). I use it quite a lot for playing table top role playing games. Recent improvement of being able to save to internal storage is huge for me. Using an app called OneSync, I am able to sync the folder on my Android to OneDrive so everything is available on Windows also.

the tools could be a little better and the color well needs a little more color bc it needs to be full and everything else is really good I like the way that you can zoom out as much as you need and zoom in as much as you need I think this is a great app some people might have different options Abt the color well but other than that I think this is a really good digital art arrangement app.
