Excellent app, does what it says it does and allows you to watch ads instead of requiring you upgrade to the pro version which is both a more mature and reasonable means of including ads in an app. Without watching the ads you are limited to three videos at a time, but that's reasonable for those avoiding ads I would. I'm extremely impressed with the compression functionality as well, works well on moderate hardware even. 10/10

Garbage. If you move your video file out of the app folder, it returns to the original file size and can't be edited any further due to "file corruption". App developer says it doesn't change the file size, which is accurate. The software instead corrupts your file somehow which makes it send as a larger file regardless. But only if you move it out of the app folder. You also still can't edit it again because of the file corruption. This all favors the App Developer. It's a design decision.

I don't usually rate apps but this is very good. I'm extremely pleased. I'm not very smart so I was afraid it would be difficult to use but it's very easy. Compresses videos perfectly and now I can share them on Discord. Note though that the free version has a lot of loud ads, just be aware and turn your volume down/mute if you need to! I paid for the lifetime ad-free because it is worth it for me.

My version is free and I'm very impressed! The different output options are very helpful. I would just be forewarned that there are pop-up ads for other services, so don't get them confused and think they are related to the video compression. Just close those ads and you'll get back to the video compressor. Otherwise, damn near perfect.

Works great except with the "Fit to size." There are times when a file still ends up greater than the size limit set. I'm pretty sure this has to do with the audio stream as it doesn't seem to be included in the limit. It just means I have to balance the audio stream bit rate to video size limit. That being said, unless the video is well over 5 or 6 minutes it shouldn't be an issue. Other than that I love it.

it compresses. it does it moderately fast but guess wha? you don't have to care. It can run in the background anyways so it doesn't really bother you. iirc it sometimes makes you watch an ad first but I think they're usually quickly skippable. there are also ads on the compression status page but you can just put it on the background and look at the widget in your notifications that tells you the length anyways. use it please.

Clean interface, good selection of options and codecs, and the ads are present but not intrusive or overly burdensome. Pro features unlock temporarily for watching a 30 sec ad spot, which in today's app marketplace seems a reasonable tradeoff and preferable to some other developers' approach. Program is functional as advertised, I've not had any errors in the year or so I've used it, and isn't a resource hog. Good choice for low-loss compression to make videos textable, but still watchable.

I have a One Plus 7 Pro that's capable of recording videos at 4K at 60 fps. The one thing that I like about this app is that it solved my problem with spacing issues. What I mean by this is that usually whenever I record a video at those settings, the size of the video is extremely large and when I want to share it, it was a hassle because I had lower the quality of my videos in order to share them. Thankfully, this app was able to let me compress my videos and keep my video quality!

Great app. Thank you. It reduced a 10gb video down to 1.3gb (I opted for high sound quality). The compressed file was virtually indistinguishable from the original, the sound was actually louder. There are periodic non invasive ads during the compression process, but no watermark on the video. I'm sure it takes a lot of memory to work so charge your phone for big files. So far no bugs. No surprise fees.Intuitive interface. Takes up little space on my low end phone. Thank you for the service.

Easy to use, very reasonably priced (even a lifetime subsc avail), essential for sharing Android videos via MMS (texting). Why Android doesn't have built in very low size compression is beyond me. But this app will solve the issue for you. I found it to be fast, but I do have a newer phone. It converted a 24MB mp4 to a 645KB 3gp in about 25 sec. That's excellent. Thanks for developing it!

I was about the throw my very expensive samsung s22+ against the wall in frustration for the lack of low res. options in the phone. I couldn't send videos by email or text until I installed this app. It's more intuitive with a better range of features than a few other apps I tried. They put a lot of thought into this app. I recommend it to anyone who is without low resolution options on their samsung phone and can't send anything but the shortest video using the phone's video settings.

Great app!!! Allows me to send videos to my friends and family via text message and also FB messenger/other similar apps. Without this, it says "Video is too large, trim the video to enable it to be sent." Very happy with this app. It's free too and I don't see super annoying ads every time you click something!!! 5 stars and two thumbs up from me! PS. You can choose what quality/definition you want the videos as well, even if you don't plan on using this app to send videos via a messaging app.

Best and easiest. Great compressor, supports h.265, very fast considering h.265 requires enormous resources.I wish there was a way to create presets or remember the last settings or something. The slider is very sensitive and honestly I spend a good deal of time trying to select the right setting. I usually get 85-90% compression from original video, sometimes smaller than a jpeg

4/1/24 Update I particularly like how this let's you know that you already compressed a file. Also the fact that it lets you delete the original in the same layout is very user friendly. Careful about going less than medium high quality as you get what you ask for and might get grainy unacceptable images at lower rates. Runs in background so you can check email or write this review then return to a done project on it. 10/30/23Pretty good.

Hands down the best video compressor download it again and I downloaded a lot of them in the past! It's free & Fast. Watch a 30 sec add to unlock premium features. Uploads up to 3 video's at the same time. Go about doing other tasks outside the app while video's are compressing. Wise selection of format options. Quality selection is outstanding! I compress my videos at a 50% and don't really notice a change in quality at all! Also has a manual quality function to set the compression rate!

Trash, can't test it first. Probably a scam Update to response from publisher: when I first opened the app, I was met with a screen with multiple options that demanded money and no trial or advertising free pass. You are not fooling me, I tried interacting with the app many ways and nothing worked except pay buttons. Sorry but your response is a flat out lie. I've already found an app that does work, so you may as well delete yours from the store. I already recorded a video using screen capture.

Great compressor and functions quite well. One bug (That still is buggy when I compress lots of videos) is when pressing the delete the original sometimes it doesn't delete it but the button greys out and then I have to go into my file explorer and it's a PITA. Major inconvenience for my use. Two other features that would be very useful, bulk original video deletion and being able to keep the same meta info for the file, like date taken and modified, so they would keep their place in gallery.

This is 'standout' THE best Compression SoftWare out there for ANY phone! Kudos 2 U guys! But it does suck when I get a new phone, & realize that I've paid good money for MUCH less memory, lower tech, & too many Uninstall Stock Apps, including Droid Market, or elsewhere. And I've NEVER heard anyone say, 'yay, new phone, with less storage & less features, & the cost is double than the cost 4 service than last year, Thank U very much, new phone, dirtbag!

Update: fixed crashes by clearing data, reinstalling, stopping process, clearing data, opening again. App annoyingly asks for enable background permissions every time, but I wish I could say thanks but no thanks. Previously: crashes constantly on s23 ultra when opening the app (probably due to lack of storage access after permissions got changed by Samsung after not being used for a while?)
