Thank-you for this great compass app. No. 1 in my books. It is an easy to use app has very nice graphics. It is add free, and does as advertised and has True North ability. As an installer of Satellite equipment it would be a nice "extra" and make this a go-to app if it had a level (see compass 360 pro), and elevation as part of the functionality, perhaps in a future release. Thank-you so much!👍👍👍

The best and most accurate compass that always works correctly even if you hold your phone vertically in portrait mode in weird angles while moving (that's where other compass apps would fail miserably) PS. An option to always keep the compass buttons visible on screen would be useful. Currently they fade away after a few sec. Keep up the good work and best regards.

I love the different compasses you can get I personally like the red one but it seems to be very accurate

The compass is really what you think a compass probably the best one I have downloaded but the one feature I wish it had would be a widget I want a compass widget it would be 5 stars if it could be a widget

Works nicely. With both compass (true north and magnetic north) and clinometer on the same app, I can use it for some rudimentary surveying and geologic mapping. Not as accurate as a Brunton pocket transit, but it's always with me any time I remember to bring my phone along. Now somebody should invent a clamp for mounting the phone on a tripod and sighting.

This is an insanely cool app! I had no idea you could get an accurate Compass on a phone like this! I didn't expect it to have the "keep away from magnets!" message though, the new Galaxy Z Flip has built in magnets, so im assuming that's why I can only get the accuracy above Medium. Still very good to have and very snappy! Works way better than the actual compas I used to have, even with the accuracy/magnet problem, where north would move if you shook the Compass lol!

EXCEPTIONALLY ACCURATE IN DIRECTION I'm really bad in direction, telling which is north, south, east and west, and having this compass really helps me out. it's easy to use, large enough to read and determine where each direction is. only thing is, the numbers oftentimes change too rapidly which can be confusing, but other than that, it's very convenient. A must have for everyone!!!!

Simple Straightforward & Attractive. Includes Sun & Moon rise/set, magnetic and true bearings (must allow use of location data), various Lat/Long formats, tilt & roll, signal strength, and, as the man says, No Ads! I have not done an accuracy check but I expect it is as accurate as the thingy in your phone which it gets its info from. (ie, as accurate as any other app.)

This is a good app for light duty travel that is handy and ever present as a smartphone. When cell reception is poor, I have found my car navigation system and my military grade compass more dependable. Also, my physical compass is great out of country. I have seen commercials showing a hiker using a smartphone for making off trail decisions. I don't believe this was advertised for this app. If off trail navigation was advertised for this app, then I would lower my rating.

Best compass I've used. Shows either true or magnetic headings, multiple color/display options, and local magnetic field. Adapts to location easily, great since we now live in a location that does not have straight N/S or E/W streets. The biggest issue is the fact that every time I use it, it must be recalculated, which is a pain. It goes from "high" accuracy to "medium" or "low" in one cycle of on-off-on. Not consistent...

The compass seems accurate and the app is definitely worth having on your phone , but I haven't used it for it's intended purpose. That being said if I was doing serious orienteering , I wouldn't depend on an electronic device that can , and eventually would , lose power. However the GPS coordinates being displayed could certainly be helpful in numerous scenarios , and would especially be helpful in the Backcountry.

Works perfectly. Just used app for the first time. Calibrated easily. Simple to use. Nice. I wish I could say that about some various others who seem to be more interested in having you upgrade. The only upgrade I can imagine here to add color and maybe a musical background. Just kidding, it's just right as is. In addition: no ads. Thanks

Perfect, simple app. Large, clear display. Multiple display skins - the colorful "luminous black" option is gorgeous. Calibrate by waving in the air a few times, explanatory animated graphic shows how. Calibrated quickly, responds very promptly when I move my phone, good accuracy. Doesn't take up much space on the phone, and only asks for minimal permissions, unlike one of the other no-ads compass apps, which wanted to know practically everything on my phone.

A compass app that actually works like a real compass with no overcomplicated settings and no ads!! And yes you have to calibrate the compass every couple times you use it, but it only takes 30 seconds at most, and no compass app would be accurate without calibrating every couple of times if not every time you use it, considering all of the metals, magnets and electromagnetic fields that our phones get exposed to throughout the day.

This compass works great when you're away from a vehicle. However when you're inside a motor vehicle then it's not accurate at all. I would love to see the developer create a feature that would allow you to calibrate the compass for vehicle use so that you can improve its accuracy. This would be in the form of a manual declination adjustment. Having such a feature would be awesome!!! Then you could use the compass with Google maps for road trips.
