It works but it's a pretty lacking experience, although typical from one of the big old banks. Paying to a PayID doesn't save it for later use. The address book is only available on the website and you can't save PayIDs there either! You can't set up your debit card in GPay before it arrives in the mail. Scheduled bank to bank payments are delayed days for some reason. It's all pretty old school.

Account info is very limited. Opening balance each month or a simple feature to show a balance of how much I need to get the bonus interest is also not here.

I love this app. Their tool to categorize your spending is so amazing. Over the years, if I've lost my card, being able to instantly lock my card is such a relief. I've also managed to save myself from being scammed by turning my bank notifications on. Noticed instantly 2 unauthorised transactions and was able to block them before they went for the whole lot. The CBA AI assistant is accurate. The transfers are instant. No complaints.

App is very easy to navigate for the most part. Would be nice to be able to view my international trading accounts as part of my portfolio in this app, to better help me manage my budgets/ savings - is there any plan to do so in the future?

The app is stupid it only decides to download atm and branch updates when you need to use the app, why doesnt it do this in the background like gee i dont know EVERY OTHER APP. And half the time, you have to reload the app to see any changes made to account balances. Why is there no refresh option??

Another update that is purely cosmetic and fixes no issues, you still can't delete an account from your "address book" you can't delete, modify, view or even find any scheduled payment in the app, there's no way to dismiss all notifications in the app, nor turn off marketing notifications, the app dumps you into a browser constantly to enter any information they require into a web page that looks like it was built in 2009. I know who i am so the 15% of the screen filled with "hello, (name)"? Why

it works. i want more categories and to be able to make my own so i can track spending and do several saving plans. thank you. Edit: 2024 - still waiting 5 years is a bit much - taking a star off lads till you can assist simple request

I have long been annoyed by having to click multiple times to log out. If I click on my icon, then click on Log Out, why do I have to click yet again to confirm? Poor user interface design. I am also annoyed by Available Funds being highlighted, rather than Balance. I Should be able to choose what is highlighted!

New updates are continuously disconnecting tap and pay. Incredibly embarrassing when I get to a checkout to use my card on my phone and then it isn't available and then takes an unknown amount of time to restore it...

Ever since the new version came out 18/07, the app now looks like a museum. Instead of it showing you your balance, it now shows you 20 other things that you are not interested in. Used to be a decent banking app, now it's so bloated with other useless nonsense that it's "lighter and quicker" to use the web browser to open the web version of NetBank. Christ.

I don't feel that The Commonwealth Bank is best suited for me anymore 😕... I feel like I'm rejected from trying to receive any form of further financing for any purposes I may need, and I don't get a lot of smart, usable rewards, offers, resources and saving choices that are beneficial for my Livelihood, on a Low Income, Receiving a Disability Pension. Maybe time for a change up...Sorry 🤔 😔

The app is great. A few improvements: 1. When a payment is received using the app, you have to close the app and restart to see it in available balance. 2. Be able to see from the home loan account how much interest has been applied a) since the loan started b) in the month. 3. Show interest accrued on the savings account ie long term and this month ect. 3. More insight into home loan, ie. Ways to reduce home loan length, what additional payments will reduce length by ect.

New update is a mess. I spent the last 15 minutes at the supermarket checkout trying to find tge tap& pay feature. It was downright emberassing. The option was no where to be found under categories you would intuitively look under.

Can't pay with app, need to use 3rd party apps. Can't copy paste bank information when sending money to other people, need to manually write bank account number. When sending money overseas can't simply send AUD, forces to exchange money to USD or EUR and charges a fee for that exchange. Can't repeat previous transaction, need to create a new one and enter all the details from scratch. Customer service doesn't read messages and just copy paste answers based on keywords.

I want to remove all the stuff on the home screen. I want the balance to update. Not have to log off and on to make it update. I hate the home screen. I don't need apply for a product or bills or the search bar. Give options to delete it all. Customise home page is useless. The worst bank app I've ever used.

The recent update is that it messes up my PayId. I could not use it! It keeps saying, "something went wrong." I did not have a problem with this before and have been using PayId for almost 7 years now. But with the recent update, I could not make any payment through PayId using the commbank app. I had to go to a web browser to use PayId. I an uninstalled the app and installed it again, turned off my phone, updated my software, and still not working. I am really annoyed with their update!!!

Clunky app with no way to check a balance quickly without logging in. Often lags behind with posting transactions, and overall, it isn't great. It was much better 3 years ago. Newer additions have reduced functionality.

I've tried the apps of most of the major banks and the CBA one is definitely the best. One small issue has cropped up recently though; transaction notifications don't work any more. I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, all the usual things. Still nothing. Quite frustrating.

The app has not worked for over 6 months or longer. I uninstall reinstall and all it states is connection time out phone bank. I have tried everything. Need to be reconfigured and security teams to look into perhaps other scripts trying to compromise security on install from Google Play I am an Android (Samsung) customer. Telstra updated to handle these with a BETA user team, their app was also heavily compromised and unusable for well over 6 months also. They have managed to fix the holes.

Reliable and easy to use. Recent update with categories and budgets are a welcome change though it contains a bug with calculating average spend per category. I got issued a new Credit Card (old one was compromised) and my totals are calculated based on transactions from new card (since September), yet the time period taken is from beginning of the year. So instead of groceries averaging $1200 a month or so I see $200. Not a big problem, but would be nice to get it fixed.
