I'm new at coin collecting, but I love learning new things about history. I think this app is awesome! it lets you take a picture of your coin and it will tell you it's worth. I wish it gave a little more information about the coin or gave the option to ask a question about your coin. overall the app is easy to navigate and very helpful nonetheless. 5 Stars 🤩

awesome app. Take great pics with zoom in or out and has flash in app. Pretty accurate from what I can tell on prices and etc. It's a great app. I'm using the free version and I love it . But when I get paid I plan on getting the yearly 29.00 membership simply because it's worth it and I appreciate having an app like this. U should check it out..I love the way it takes the pictures it puts your obverse and reverse side by side in one photo. I think that's so awesome. Thank you

I like the app. But I signed up with free trial and after I go in and realized it wasn't going to serve my needs I tried to cancel subscription but was unable to finish as power went out and lost connection when I went back to check I noticed my card had been charged anyway. I've sent email requesting refund but nothing has been done ...yet.

I love the app! It's great for coin collectors, like my fiance and I do. I suggest maybe putting a feature where you can add your friends and family because maybe they want to exchange or buy or sell coins and talk about through the app. A great way to spread the word as well, across the globe. You can make it where they add friends by phone number or Facebook friends, that way they already know each other. Add a block feature that blocks the person when you block then on FB or via contacts.

I've never had so much fun getting organized! This app is pretty amazing. It identifies every American coin ever minted. Plus, it grades and values your coins. It catalogs your collection for you, making everything so organized that I'm almost embarrassed to think about it! Very useful. Easy to navigate. Real cool. Mr. Wilson would have loved this.

App works fine from the little I used it for but after a week I became locked out of my phone and had to buy a new one (kept same #) and found it was impossible to get the premium account that I had just paid $29.99 for less than a month prior. App has a 'restore' button. Not sure why because nothing I did worked. Emailed customer service A BUNCH of times and they weren't helpful in the least. With all the info/proof I had they should have gotten me into the account the day I contacted them.

I Was hopeful for this app but am disappointed after trying it . Ran one coin through 3 seperate times with the same pictures got 3 different grades off the same pictures plus years don't match up with the clearly visible date on the coin with no option in the drop down options. And forget about trying to take a picture camera will not focus and unable to keep it steady on coin so alll my photos cqme out blurred Really wanted to like this app but I don't. Plus side it was fairly easy to use

worth the subscription but the ability to add error to coin or have the ability to compare with others and select the closest match by error. the ability to grade from the add info screen instead of exiting the screen to home then grade then back to coin info to add. it's redundant to make a separate entry just to grade. other than that I'm good but for $30 a year I expect better. nice features just needs a little tweeking. Gave an extra star since they replied to my comment. Thanks again

Loving this app. I only have one improvement that I'd like to see happen for me to give it 5 stars. This could be user error on my part, but I haven't figured out a way to section my collection. It's all one giant list, and I'd like to be able to categorize the coins I record. Other than that, this functions exactly as I was hoping it would. I'm sure the grading system has a great deal of room for error but it's much less biased than my eyes. Helps to create a standard for your collection.

Great for identifying, great for keeping track of what you have. Pretty good price if you're a serious collector or have a large collection to catalog. Minor flaw (which may not actually be a flaw but at the very least isn't intuitive) is that I can't add coins I've added to my collection to a custom set without actually retaking pics. It'd be nice to be able to use the custom sets to organize coins I've already added to my collection.

Great at identifying coins but lacks useful tools to organize and share. There is no way to organize your collection after taking the picture. Also, you can only share a single coin. It would be very useful to be able to share a collection instead of just a single coin. I am enjoying how quickly it identifies the coin, but with no organizational tools, it gets really hard to navigate if you've scanned a large amount of coins.

The app itself is nice, it is exactly as advertised, you take photos of your coins and it estimates how much the coin is worth, even goes into detail about the thickness of the coin and if it has ridges or not. The developers have also been very kind! I ended up not realizing that my free week trial had ended and it charged my account, so I sent in a request for a refund and the money was back in my account this morning. Great app, and great people!

It's ok I like the app and all but it would be nice if they had a rare coin, miss truck coin, error coin, recalled coin and flawed coin index and identifier with the free version of the app. I'm not sure if they offer that in the paid for version I didn't get a chance to explore the entire app in the 3 days free trial of it. None the less it would be a cool free feature in the app.

Bottom line: This a great app for identifying and grading coins, BUT not for organizing or even exporting them. Great: I snapped a coin rated as MS-60 from outside the display case. CS rated it as XF. I had the case unlocked and did a magnifier check. Sure enough there was a tiny bit of wear not visible. Saved me from spending $500 on an $80 coin. The BAD: Once the data is in CS, it is hard to use. Filters are min. Export does not export the mint mark. 5* when these are fixed.

Good app for beginner. Try to have good lighting when taking pictures or it will skew your grading results. Do NOT rely on your phone's flash, it will wash out the coin with similar results. I woukd like if I grade a coin, I have the ability to save it to "My Collection" right away instead of grading it, THEN retaking pictures for "My Collection". That way, if I'm out and about, I can refer back to it later instead of trying to go home, fish it back out of whichever tube I put it in.

Coin Snap is the perfect app if your a beginner collector or a master collector. But for beginners sake.. You'll use a phone camera to scan coins on both sides. It pulls up info like the dates, values, errors, even the type of metals that make up the coin scanned. The app has over 40,000 coins to browse and a wishlist feature for coins you find that you might want. The app has a Collections feature allowing you to add your coins to a well organized simple to view list for all the coins you own!!

As a free app It would have some value. The scan is extremely accurate and does help to hone in on the origin country, which is useful for early Asian coins. That's about all the positive, I can say, though. Once the scan is complete, it makes suggestions about what the coin likely is. The problem is that much of the reference is incorrect. For example I scanned several Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese Cash Coins. Generally the period and denomination were correct however the references wrong.

Generally useful so far for US coins, but a few bugs and missing features. Ability to share your coin or a collection should be a basic feature, but the share button only sends a link to download the app... a useless promotion. Also, you have to take photos a second time if you want to use the grading feature. Why?? Finally, although your photos show in the main coin list, they are nowhere to be found in the coin detail... Just a sample photo. So nowhere to download or share your own photos.

I love this app. You can become educated about currency as you go, so it's perfect for those starting a new collection, or simply pricing coins that you may happen across. But I'm telling you, this app runs deep. You can save your entire collection on it, take pics and they will i.d. and grade your coin for you. They teach you about grading and every facet of it, as well as give you pretty in depth info about the proofing and striking process, and it's very fun to learn about.

Totally dig this app! It has to be the very best app experienceive for me thus far! It's very well designed, super easy to navigate, and most beneficial for researching coins. Though I haven't taken my coins to an expert or had them appraised by anyone, I feel that the app served me well, with a better understanding and invaluble amount of knowledge that I didn't have otherwise. There are several different options in app, that each in and of themselves makes the app cost effectively appropriate.
