It seems to me like they keep you chasing something you'll never have. As soon as you level up. Your redeeming point spot jumps up as well. Keeping just close enough to keep going, but far enough away to keep you from redeeming. After 2 mouths I was finally able to redeem points for a $5 spot on Amazon. It's free money, but not even close to worth the time you put in to get it. My deleting app now.

I've had the app for years, back before the upgrades and while I wasn't happy with the switch from $amount to points at first after a while and a bit of math I realized they increased what you get with the points. Highly recommend this app for some extra side money. Eta: I'm hoping it's from not knowing or time but I tried to cash out after a couple years of building my rewards and now I can't even log in and have yet to receive my 25$ gift card. For not I will drop my stars in hopes of recourse

Every month I complete every task needed to level up but like clockwork it drops my email connection and I've been stuck as silver for months due to this. It's not a bad process but what's the point if I've been uploading for 6 months and can only get a 3 dollar reward! I should be levels ahead by now and earning a lot more per receipt. If the app worked it would be 5 stars but if as is .. 2 .

I'm not a huge fan of the new points system, and it seems there are fewer options to earn rewards. The app also cannot maintain its connection to Gmail, but they have automated the reconnect process. However, I don't like how it basically has to create a new app password for Gmail every week. It's quite frustrating. Overall, it's still worth a few minutes to earn a few of cents. It does add up eventually, and the payout is real.

I have been with Coinout for a long time. I cashed out on the old platform and now with the new platform. It takes a while to build momentum. Once you get moving on rewards it adds up quickly. Worth hanging in for $25 and up before cashing out. I have had to contact customer service and they were prompt & resolved my issue. Thank you for a good app Coinout.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. The app worked until I reached a redemption level. Then it quit working. Cleared cache, no improvement. Uninstalled and reinstalled, can't even log in. Support is unresponsive. They collect all they can from you before they lock you out preventing reward redemption. Super scammy. Be especially careful giving access to your email and retailer accounts, imagine what they're doing with it after they lock you out. Change those passwords.

I like how easy it is to snap a picture of your receipt and upload. Getting rewards for receipts doesn't take forever either. The downside is the new structured reward level that is dependant on keeping an email linked to your account. This feature disconnects frequently and then limits your reward potential.

Seriously what is going on with all these crashes? It hasn't worked in the last 4 days when I had scanned the last set of receipts I had set aside. Even after the update just now, it's not loading correctly and it will open the homepage for half a second and then crash and close out! Now, mind you I have been scanning all my receipts since 2021! I am 🤏 close to cashing out my points. BUT I'm almost betting that something will happen after some of these reviews I have read which is sad to hear!

The points system is decent enough from a lot of receipt apps that I've used. I don't like that I keep having to disconnect and reconnect my Amazon & Walmart app in order to update my orders. I also don't care for how long it takes to scan my email and app receipts, especially with having to stay on that screen. Screen will time out if I'm not looking at it And that's with having my screen timer on 10 minutes.

I sent support an email. I changed my rating, back to 1 star. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP! No matter how many coins you earn, redemption is based on your level, and it restarts your level every month. I earned almost enough for $10 and diamond level, but before I could redeem, they dropped me back to beginner level, so I can't redeem more than $3. I contacted support and got a "read the how to level up" email. There is no point in leveling up if it restarts to prevent redemption!

Points for rewards add up quickly, which is great, but... The app DOES freeze entirely too often, leaving me to have to close the app and restart it. I also find myself needing to sign back in to my retail accounts and / or delete said accounts and then activate them again daily. It's kind of annoying. I'll edit my review, if this gets fixed. Aside from that I could really dig CoinOut

I've tried this app out for a year, and have had nothing but problems. I've never been able to download online receipts, I'm unable to keep my email connected for more than a couple seconds, there's no option to add more screenshots for lengthy receipts, the list goes on. Support is nonexistent, just automated messages without anyone ever actually looking into the issue. UPDATED 03/30/24 - I have reached out to the support email provided numerous times. Support never writes back.

Great App. One of my favorites by far. Recently I have been having issues with my connected accounts for some reason. It used to work perfectly so I'm not sure what happened. I've tried all the standard fixes like deleting the cache and data, reinstalling the app, and disconnecting and reconnecting my accounts. Sometimes it will work for a day or two then goes back. It's bit disappointing and causes me to miss out on some points and waste time. If not for that I would give it 5 stars all day.

I use a bunch of other cash back apps and this is by far my favorite. This is the only app that allows you to earn the ability to get more coins/points back by leveling up just based on using it. I have been able to get real cash back at twice the amount of time it would take on any of the other apps I use (fetch, receipt hog, Ibotta). the only downside is that it takes forever to connect to the linked online accounts and doesn't seem to automatically check for you.

I use it almost every day. The revamped version isn't as good as the previous version. I had to contact customer service to get my account to stay at platinumlevel, but it's fixed now. But what's up with limitations on GC redemption? That's just mean. Plus, the spin game is pretty lame; use the spins if you get them, but don't expend extra effort for it. But I still use the app to get Amazon gcs.

I have been using this app for 2 years and like how it's so simple and straightforward when it comes to snapping receipts and earning points. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because even after a year, I still cannot download my Amazon orders. It always fails even tho I can see it's the right email linked to my Amazon. Also, a feature to redeem coins for gift cards would be nice as well.

This app is pretty simple to use and typically I have had no issues getting credit on scanned receipts. However digital payments from linked accounts is pointless. Only 1 out of 4 linked accounts ever receives credit. Not to mention issues with accounts staying linked including email. With limited options for rewards and high point needed to withdraw it has become more of a hassle than it's worth.
