What should be a great time killer game, is hugely let down by the shot randomness. It is completely luck-based to hit accurate long shots and it is extremely annoying to work with. On top of that sometimes the ball bounces erratically and suddenly stops along the polygons. When you're only allowed a single attempt for free and these two issues kick in, it's just not worth it

I love this little game. Wish I could have this on a larger 18 hole game. I also wish the physics were more consistent. I love the little sounds. Probably my favorite part. I do wish there was a way to see strokes data for all users for each day. For example: average, lowest, highest. Sometimes I want to see if others had the same difficulty I did.

I've been greatly enjoying this game. It's a nice 5 minute daily time commitment. Easy controls, love figuring which path through the course will lead to the best round. Others complain about the "randomness" of slices/hooks on long shots, but it makes sense the further you try to hit it, the more off target it might go. It makes sense to try to set up safer medium shots with predictable roll that lead into easy chips and putts.

it's pretty fun but the matchmaking system needs a lot of work l. I was in the first league with maybe 3 trophies and I'm playing against people in the top 10% who make everything in 1-2 shots. It wouldn't be such a big deal but you have to gamble premium currency every time you play. it's a bummer. update: The amount of tracking in this app is insane. It sent over 500 tracking attempts to 3rd parties in one round of golf.

It's pretty fun. The sounds are incredibly satisfying! The slicing on strokes is way too aggressive and makes it feel a little unfair with the trajectory being unpredictable. I feel like the trees should slow the ball, not completely stop it and bounce off. I paid the 2 bucks for unlimited play, didn't realize it was just one course for the day regardless. No biggie, it for sure has potential! I will continue playing and look forward to updates! Keep it up!

I definitely thought I'd get tired of the same terrain all the time but the random layouts and freedom of order really does keep it fresh and engaging. And what really keeps me coming back is the beautiful clean design and simple and smooth controls. Sounds are perfect too. I love opening it up every morning and seeing what the course looks like for the day. My only wish is that there wasn't unlimited replays. Kind of takes away the stakes of a daily challenge. Overall very fun game.

I want to like this game. Great graphics, the challenge in picking your route on each day's course and carving through is simple and engaging. I've been looking for a simple game like this. But all the elegance is thrown out the window with the "random" way your shots change. 3 clubs, practical aiming tool, simply great game concept. But shots will not follow your line and will have unexpected backspin/top spin, will defy physics to bounce out of the cup or off a hill.

Strong bones with some major weaknesses. The concept is fun, the control style is nice, and the graphics are unexceptional, but well-suited to the game. The major flaw (as others have noted) is the random and extreme nature of the hooking and slicing when you hit your ball. This is supposed to be a game of skill, but it's extremely frustrating to line up your shots and watch them go wild for no reason. If you want to make it more difficult add control to the swing and spin, not randomness.

Sound design, and the visuals are top notch, I wish more golf apps felt like this one did. The simplicity of having only three clubs is brilliant. The part of the game that is frustrating is the + or - slicing on the ball, I have shot the same shot 5 times and the ball goes a different way every time its insane. It's not supposed to be competitive they why have a leader board? Just a little less slicing please! The variable distance on shots is fine.

Took a terrific game and are slowly ruining it. Paid to unlock it and now it's a death by 1000 cuts with gems and a horrible match up system. Physics are getting worse, mechanics are getting worse but let's do what we can to keep putting quarters into the machine. Every game that does this ends up getting replaced. What did I pay to unlock it for if it's still going to try to be a daily money grab. Get rid of the stupid gems.

It's close to being a good game, but you quickly get to the point to where you have to be perfect to advance. And since the system doesn't always let you hit it like you aim, it's impossible to be perfect. Soon you will need to score a 9 or 10 on a match to advance. Maybe you can get a 10 for a tie if everything goes great, but you aren't scoring 9s enough to progress. It's crazy to have to be that good just to get 70 or so trophies. Frustratingly set up for you to hit a wall.

The ranking system is unbalanced and filled with cheaters and its only worsened by the disgustingly janky physics and shot line. For example, In multiple instances ive hit the same full power shot as my oponent from the same launch area, yet my shot was shorter 4 times in a row, causing me to lose the match. This game used to be relaxing, but now it's just stressful with the addition of multi-player. And even if you passed a tier, you should still be able to get trophies from it.

It's a fun game, but as others have mentioned, the mechanics of play seem a bit random. Also, as a novice player, it would be nice to have the system match you against players more suitable to your level instead of getting annihilated in a beginner tournament against a player with hundreds of trophies that nails eagles while your ball hovers at the edge but doesn't go in

I want to like this game but the mechanics are so clanky. The physics are all messed up. you hit any kind of ridge and your ball flies in the other direction (usually into the water). You can't even trust the path marker that tells you where the ball will land. there is no form of consistency in match making either. you find yourself playing against pros who always sink their shots. i don't think it's truly online either. Which makes it even more frustrating losing to an unfair AI.

I really want to like this game. It's so close to being so good. But once you get to a certain point it seems like your luck just runs out. Inconsistent bounces, shots going off line, or "opponents" just playing at an unbeatable level. The vs mode is insanely frustrating past the point where the game is fun. Maybe if the different course styles were available as a career mode I'd keep playing, but the vs mode is clearly rigged to just get you to spend money. Not worth it.

The hearts system is wack, I used to play this game for hours while listening to audio books now I can only play for like 20 minutes. Also there's a constant issue where your ball hits the ground & doesn't bounce, it just stops dead & it happens alot, which is awesome when it makes you lose your round & since you can only lose 5 times b4 you can't play its pretty infuriating.

Great game. Fun to play. The new update brought a bunch of cool mechanics and even a campaign of sorts lol. I absolutely LOVED this game for one particular reason; the ability to bet big, lose big or win big in the versus mode with your fake in-game currency. Unfortunately, the update slashed the winnings down ten fold... where you use to be able to win hundreds of thousands of "dollars" and feel like a king... now you can barely win a couple grand. Huge disappointment and let down.

It's been my favorite game for almost a year, but now... It appears, like most other games, the devs run out of patience and begin throwing in new elements that take away from the original intrigue of the game. In my opinion, the quickest way to kill a realistic game is to begin adding power-ups and unrealistic boosters. Adding power-ups to a golf game is silly. The essence of golf is the simplicity of the sport. That's what made this game great. It's not anymore. And that's unfortunate.

Accuracy on longer shots feels completely random. Would be better with some kind of timing-based accuracy slider, so it felt more like skill and less like luck. Camera controls are also a bit frustrating- lifting your finger from the screen after careful alignment sends the camera to the left or right by a couple degrees and messes up your shot. Also frustrating that choosing a different club changes the zoom amount, meaning you're constantly trying to adjust the camera back to where you want it

Fun game with janky physics at times. The target for your swing is so wide and random that most shots are hit correctly but missed due to the random line it follows. Shots that bounce off of objects suddenly speed up to three times the speed of the initial shot, which causes a lot of shots to careem into the water when it should have rolled a little bit and stopped. There is no rhyme or reason to when these things happen so you cannot plan against them. You just hope it doesn't happen.
