Love this game! It's challenging enough to keep me interested and rewarding enough to feel like I've accomplished something. Without all the pay to win content of other puzzle games. The ads are shorter than on other games. The hint costs are super reasonable so no need to watch a million ads to earn enough coins to use the hints. All in all I'd say totally worth the download. Keep up the good work! :) :)

Good game. Fun, challenging, interesting, with cool graphics and relevant clues. BUT there are a lot of ads. After each round theres an ad, and they're video ads. After you skip the video, there's another little post-ad ad that lasts for a few more seconds before it lets you exit out. Would be 5 stars if not for the obscene amount of ads.

probably ok for an older kid or people learning English. have yet to choose Hard mode but kinda bored of it 8 stages in (40 puzzles). cute for a while but little gratification/motivation to keep going. biggest issue: ads. plays after EVERY puzzle - 20 seconds you can't remove, then you "X" it, comes another. i understand that's what keep the game free but still very annoying. not sure if ads eat up my data; I'd play 3-4 puzzles and my usage jumped. thank you, it's been fun, but will be uninstalling.

Been playing for a day and I really enjoy it! The game is fun and challenging, but not frustrating, and I appreciate that the difficulty can be adjusted (I play on medium). There are sometimes ads but they do not interrupt gameplay. The coins you use to get hints can be obtained reasonably without forcing you to spend money, which I think is important too. I recommend trying the game!

Love the game but the ads, the ads, THE ADS!! I started the ap, accidentally chose a puzzle that I had already done , hit the back arrow to select a different puzzle but bammo was served an ad after pressing the back arrow. Didn't even play anything. That's obscene ad abuse. Uninstalled. May take a look at it in a few months if they've fixed their ad orgasm.

very fun trivia based crossword puzzle game. i can already see myself spending hours on this. my only gripe right now is the apparent inability to turn off the little bug guys popups. "drag me to a space to reveal a letter". its really a minor annoyance, but it's often the smallest annoyances that are the most aggravating. regardless, if you are thinking of trying it out, give it a shot! edit: upon progressing further into the game, the little reminders to use the bug friend have ceased!

I've been playing darn near a decade, and I'm still going, it's that good. Easy to pick up, never gets frustratingly difficult like a lot of these games, ads are infrequent and mostly unobtrusive, and while you will see some question repeats, overall it never gets too repetitive. Only complaint is that some of the paid elements have pretty high prices, but you can play without them. If you're gonna play daily for a few minutes before bed to wind down, this is an excellent choice. Overall, 9.5/10

Uses way too much battery and memory... More than any other game I've played, including high-end 3D rendered ones! No reason for this other than not caring. And the devs obviously don't care as I'm not the only one saying this with no reply or fix from them. Also it should go to the next round automatically when you finish one instead of having to select it every time. And the hook of the song it plays on loop the entire game sounds like Jingle Bells. Please fix the battery issue as I do like it

I really enjoy playing this game, it combines Trivia, Spelling and with a hint of the " crossword puzzle " feel to it...The gameplay is smooth and fast and the Ads are not too bad, most of the ads are VERY short and some of them you don't even have to watch you just have to click on the X and that's it. So, overall CodyCross is a winner with nothing negative about it!! ☆KUDOS To The App Developers ☆

I was enjoying this game because I love crossword puzzles. But when I went to get a free token to solve a word that I had no idea what it was, it said I needed two tokens not just one so when I went to get a second free one through an ad it said I had to wait 41 minutes to get the free token or pay for it using my own money. I uninstalled. This game gets one star only because zero isn't an option.

I've played this game for a few years. I used to love it and regularly do the daily challenges. It's a week from getting deleted though. It's forcing me to watch full-length ads before I can play... The game isn't entertaining enough to deal with that. After the response, I didn't wait longer. The app is gone. I'm not going to be forced into an entire ad for every individual game.

While it is an alright crossword game, the constant push for micro transactions is very off-putting. I can deal with the commercials but you can't go one puzzle without some kind of ploy to get you to buy something. Start a board and you get "Buy more bees?". Finish a match to a commercial which comes in three separate parts and then forced to a journey screen to remind you that if you spend some money you can get better rewards. Just annoying.

Would be a solid 4 BUT the mandatory invasive ADS are TERRIBLE!! I understand games have to make money but making us sit through 3-part ads that last 60 to 90 seconds is enough for me to say NOOPE. Nobody has time for that and I will no longer make time for this game because of it. You would thing that developers would learn by now. Lengthy ads are a major turnoff for most people.

I am currently very frustrated with the game, but I like it overall. In the past week or so, if you don't complete the missions AT LEAST 12ish hours before time runs out, the puzzle freezes. You can't finish it, which means you can't receive the reward. Of course, there is no way in the game itself to contact anyone, so all of the rewards are lost...

The game is fun, I played it every day for months. And I don't mind watching ads since I wasn't spending money but they started putting ads before you play a round not after and I just refuse to deal with that. I was at like a 430 day streak and stopped because of it. Came back after a few months and they let me play for a few days with the ads after again but then started up with the same nonsense so I'm finally uninstalling.

I loved playing this game, but getting out of the ads and back to the game was difficult. I responded to some ads, and I don't mind ads. But after the add were over I had difficulty returning to the game. It kept switching me to Google play. After about three months of playing, I quit fighting it. Really enjoyed playing it, though.

Great app, I love that the clues are a far cry from the redundant usual clues that most other crossword apps use. Yes there are ads, but they are dispersed fairly and never cut in mid game play. There is an option to buy-out of ad if they ruffle your knickers. But honestly, the ads are no issue at all. All in all, I fully recommend this app. 🤓

Rewards don't match the effort put in! I played this game for a year straight. I devoted my time to reach what I would assume was a big milestone since it tracks day streaks and rewards them; all I got was a helmet upgrade for the little character?!? For real?! That's crazy. I can't even imagine the disappointment for others playing longer than I have. Well, I guess it's time to use up my stuff on here, uninstall, and find another game. Other than that, it was decent game to wind down with.

Love this game, have been playing for years. Really love the recent addition of Lunacross puzzles, but disappointed that the reward for completing the mission is only another chest. I don't want to invest the time over several days of playing for such a piddly little reward. The first few times I played it gave a high level book. Please go back to that.

Idk why they changed the difficulty of this game. I got a replacement phone in January 2024. It started my progress over--not a problem. I got about 100 levels in before that replacement phone died, and I got a new phone March 2024. Again, my progress started over. It wouldn't be a problem if they hadn't changed the difficulty so much. Both times, I played on medium difficulty. The first time, I rarely had to use hints to get to level 100. Now I'm not even level 20 and have had to use multiple.
