WOULD YOU LIKE TO SUBSCRIBE FOR PREMIUM? NO? OK. SUBSCRIBE TO CLUE PLUS? NO? OK. UPGRADE TO PREMIUM PLUS FOR 75% OFF! The tracking works. But the constant, neverending, multiple screens in a row, every time you open the app or do anything in the app, attempts to upsell are absolutely insane. You will spend 3x as much time closing out upgrade windows and screens than using the app.

The app is functional to keep track of your period on the surface level without paying for anything. I would be fine accepting the fact that I cannot have any of the many add-ons because I do not pay for anything but it is so annoying to have them ask you to go premium every single time you go into the app. if it weren't for the fact that I have kept track of my period for a long time here, I would probably switch to a different app.

Edited review: They fixed the crashing problem and I caved and created an account because I had already paid for the premium version. However, even if you do pay for premium, there are constant pop-ups and banners telling you to teach different things or advertising additional features. I'm using what I want. Premium shouldn't KEEP advertising!

They updated the app recently and it's much harder to track my cycles because the track button doesn't work....I have to go to calendar and click the tiny drop icon in the top left corner which always takes me a minute to remember since I do this once a month.... And have had it for years where you could track from the home screen. It is accurate and I've loved having it over the years and that I can take it from phone to phone. I don't like how they changed how to track cycles though. ☹️

This app ued to be great (used it for years) and not overbearing with their ads for getting their subscription service, but they fairly recently did a forced update (you couldn't continue to use the app unless you updated). Now, every time you try to track anything you get ads for their subscription service (and it doesn't load the close out of ad button to return to the main page until after their ad is done which is pretty shady).

PLEASE LESS ADS IM SO CLOSE TO DELETING THIS APP. I've used it for years, I loved this app. But the adds are getting unbearable. At first it was just one which was annoying because it popped up every single time, but now it's at least two Everytime I log in and one blocks off the only way to exit it so it forces you to stare at this ad. There are ways to advertise without infuriating your user base.

Easy to use, predictions are on point except for when I have an irregular period, but then app keeps track of how frequently those occur too. Still using the free tracking, but app provides option to go premium monthly or yearly with some really nice additional health tracking features. You can track way more than just your periods with daily entries for mood, pain, energy, and digestive issues like bloating or nausea.

Hello clue team! I've been using this app since 2017 and I love this layout and it tracks my irregular period quite well. However, the amount of promos I receive when putting in my data is making the app feel unusable. Even if the frequency of promos were once a week I would consider it a major improvement. Until this is addressed, 3/5 stars for the irritation of seeing promos every 30 seconds.

I downloaded this app because they encrypt data and are based outside of the US. Unfortunately, though, you cannot track while offline. Premium or basic- you have to be online. This is incredibly unfortunate as I work a remote job and I'm out of service for weeks at a time. I used to use a simpler, free, tracking app that required no internet to function. I'll probably have to switch back to that.

Amazing for women, not for their male partners. The amount and detail on the recording options was phenomenal. Flow level, birth control methods (and reminders), medications, exercise, sleep, mood, adult activities, etc. However, my issue is with the Clue Connect. For my husband to access mine, he has to go all the way through the app, to the settings, to access the data. The app itself is exessively useless to him as he doesn't have a cycle to track and its literally the settings info he needs.

I used to really love this app. I waited AGES for them to update the app so I could use the birth control reminders again, but now, the app has been very glitchy (I currently have been unable to open the app for the last 2 days, I just get a white screen). Also, you literally can't click a single button in the app without getting spammed with popup ads for the paid version. I'm really not thrilled at having to find another period tracker, but these issues are too much.

NOT AN AD FREE APP! The advertising / self-promotion is getting really ridiculous. I've been using this app since it came out, but lately I have been thinking of switching to a competitor. You close one advertising banner, and underneath is another one. You close that banner, and an even larger one takes it's place, this time you can't even hide this one, and it takes up nearly half the screen! Not to mention all the other pop-ups they shove in your face every time you do something in the app.

In the last 6 months this app has taken a huge turn for the worse. Any time I try to use it/update my period tracking it tries to get me to switch to the paid version. It pops up like a loading screen and the X is blocked off for several seconds by a loading bar. It's made the whole app into a giant ad. It's one thing to have a banner at the top but now I can't even update my blood flow without a forced fullscreen popup I can't close out of.

I think it's helpful when wanting to keep track for looking back at health problems. I just wish it would have options like tubal removal, ablation, or d&c, just so the app wouldn't be dead set on your period being the "normal" range. It just needs to be able to accept a wider variety. That's why I only paid for 1 year, then I fell off with tracking.

Used to be a very good app. Now, anytime you do anything (and I mean ANYTHING) you get a pop-up about buying a premium account and details about all its extra features. It seems they change the location of the x out button each time too because I find myself fiddling around trying to figure out how to get back to the screen I was just on. Incredibly annoying. Been using this app for years but this aggressive level of advertising is making me want to switch.

Like everyone else, I'd loved this app for years, but the switch to never-ending and inescapable ads/pop-ups for the premium version is getting to be way too much. I can’t even do the basic things I wanted this app for anymore. I understand that they need to make money, but based on all these other reviews, it's pretty clear that the constant self-promotion is just pushing non-paying users away. Will be switching to a simpler option.

They removed my #1 favorite feature. Being able to scroll through and tell my heavy/medium/light flow days apart WITHOUT clicking through menus was why I started using Clue. The flow used to fill the calendar date to indicate how much. Now it's just a horizontal line. It's much less functional at a glance. They are pushing CluePlus too much too. I'm not interested in subscription fees; I'd only ever consider a one time fee. I don't care about pregnancy features. Thinking of switching apps.

I really appreciate that this is one of the rare apps that doesn't sell health data. Definitely recommend it. Really detailed tracking for completely free. It doesn't have any ads other than for the premium subscription, which I'm thinking of getting to support this lovely app. UPDATE: I would love it if there was a toggle feature to switch to Metric system instead of Imperial!! So far my only issue with the app!

Honestly it used to be phenomenonal, but they just keep taking away more and more features if you don't pay. And trying to get it for my youngest daughter I've realized that you cannot use it at all anymore without subscribing. Even worse, they make you go through all the trouble of setting up an account and putting in all of your information (seriously taking several minutes of your time) just to have you select a free one week trial or a subscription in the end.

Ain't what it used to be. This app is easy to use, and can predict your periods with a startling degree of accuracy. It doesn't use gendered language, which I appreciate as a trans person. However. With every action you take in the app, you're interrupted with a "subscribe now" page to navigate out of. Edit: Pushy premium advertisement has gotten even worse. Multiple ads per action. App now unusable.
