I wanted to like it because I play other games with similar concepts. This game is among the worst in terms of graphics, game experience, enjoyment, and ability to play without having to pay. The tutorial might as well be removed for all the good it does. I spent the first 3 days just trying to grasp the basics and I still feel lost 6 days in. Clones are broken down into different categories but there is no explanation for any of it. Poor design. Poor execution.

IMHO having character level caps linked to account level has always been a terrible way to go, and this game hasnt changed my mind on that.. I would also like it if all fights werent auto, and that I could control heros when wanted. Using specials on an enemy that has a sliver of health is a complete waste and happens way too often.

EDIT: Uninstalled. Yeah, I'm done with this one. Updates and required grinding have made this once casual game a thankless chore. Throw your money into this pit if you want, but that's your call. OP: Well, I'm never not playing this game when I have a spare moment. Lots to keep you busy and just enough strategy to keep you interested. Periodic events are cool, VIP levels are not, but you don't have to participate in either.

5stars for the name alone. Edit: No option to change sound, blaring (but decent) music until after a too long and forced demo. Might not have minded if my music wasn't also playing and I like my music better. Anyway, I have played the exact same game without the pretty interface/graphics but with monsters. FFBE has a much better battle system, but much more complicated. This has better/more original interface graphics, the intro guy looks awesome in borderlands style. And that name, awesome!

The main reason I'm giving this game 3 stars because all of the battles are done on auto, and sadly there isnt anyway to turn that style of play off. To me the point of an RPG is to level up using various skills, tactics and upgrades to get you there. When the attacks are all timed and carried out with out the players input, I think that takes alot of the fun out of the gane. Though with that said, the game has still found away to draw me in and provides enough interaction to keep me interested

Changing my review to one star... one of the most quietly buggy app games I've ever played. Equipment disappears without a trace, you dont get the rest of the campaign rewards when the exp stored up causes you to hit a level that unlocks a new building, random floating ghosts of enemies that are actually dead in battle mode. Was a bit fun at first, but overall meh game. Would be 3, maybe 4 stars without the bugs.

Money hungry, poor balance Devs have no idea how to balance new heroes. Tons of bugs run rampant and remain uncorrected for months. There's no customer service. If you experience any issues, you won't get help. As for end-game, you'll use (or want to use) the same team setup as the top players. There's little room for variety, despite having tons of options. The options just aren't balanced well, so there's little point to most of the units. Stay away. You've been warned!

This game is more of an idle game, which is a plus or minus depending what you are looking for. I like the borderlands art style, but not to fond of some of the funky looking character designs. Game mechanic wise, the tutorial seems pretty detailed as you unlock things. 4/5 for now because I've seen better values for transactions in other games and the attempts to get you to spend are mixed with events.

This game is built for those with deep pockets, plain and simple. It's very PTW, or dedicate mass amounts of time, heavy. I've been brought back to this game from a separate account (which I lost), and I've been met with the same problem as before; minimal progression and minimal monetary value. I have spent quite a bit of money and have yet to obtain a substantial value for my purchase. Please don't download if you want to compete with other players or play something where you progress quickly.

This game would be very fun if it weren't very obviously geared toward pay to play. The lottery system in it gives you the same 4 drawing even if you draw 30 times, which I found out the hard way. Levels do not give you a recommended power level for the story. The side quests do give recommendations but they do not follow them. ex. dungeon level 12 power recommendation: 55000, my power level 83,000. cannot beat it. every time you lose you get a notification to buy things.

I HATED this game. DO NOT PLAY FOR TAPJOY. Did it for TapJoy and it was a waste of time. Nearly impossible to get orange without dropping a lot of money in the time frame. There's soooo much waiting. You can't skip most flights. I thought it was an interesting 'idle heroes' clone, but then the grind started. The amount of heroes you can have at first really stifles development and the ability to upgrade them. I earned nearly 30 red clone tickets and didn't get an orange ONCE. That's after I broke down and dropped $10 on the game. I regret. Wish I could demand my money back. Unless you like wasting your time waiting for slow battles, near impossibilities to improve through upgrading heroes, skewed casino probabilities...don't waste your time. The gimmick isn't that enjoyable to keep coming back for more.

I honestly hate this game. The ONLY positive is that the graphics are comical. Otherwise -upgrading heroes to Orange is nearly impossible. It takes forever to grow. The casino is ridiculously rigged. The expedition is a waste of time. The campaigns... Ha! And worst of all, it is B.O.R.I.N.G. So so so boring. You can't skip a lot of the battles and there is nothing to do but wait. And wait. And wait. ** the ONLY reason I played this at all was for another game and I CAN'T get the reward.

The strategy aspect of this game is pretty good, but it has a lot of hands off controls, which kills most of the fun. My main dilemma is with the initial loading screen. It cycles through this loading phase for a few seconds before repeatedly telling me I'm offline "failed to connect to the server" (I stream 1080p movies). Most of the time after hitting 'retry' for a few minutes it will eventually load the next screen, but it's been getting worse lately and never loads at all or just crashes.

I would give 5 stars if a few things were different. The system is great and the game is really fun, except you can reach a point where you literally can't do anything, and have to wait until you level up before you can continue. Some of the in-game deals are far too expensive for what you get out of it. Some rewards for saving up game currency have terrible prices. Specifically the tavern bottlecap shop prices (500 caps for 5 blue hero fragments). Lastly. Bring more events. It just gets boring.

I installed and started playing from an offerwall to get gems for Animation Throwdown, and now I play Clone Wars more. It's really fun because there's tons of different things to do, it's not just grinding over and over. Also, the character design is insane! I mean that in the best way possible, the art is really really good. I find myself cracking up all the time over hilarious little details in the animations. Uncrowned Queen for instance...

the game is very easy to play if you are lazy. it's fun and interesting. a good time killer. the issue I have is trying to get certain characters who are necessary for certain evolutions. you cant find them, they dont drop regularly, and there isnt even a way to buy if you wanted to. so aside from some flaws that hurt the game.in my eyes, I'll give 3 stars. it is a good game, but again the one issue is very frustrating

Not bad....has cool animation. game is automated. You set character placement(6) 2 up front 4 in back. There is strategy but its limited. It's a collection game. Theres an arena but that to is limited. its a pay to play but I have not spent a dime and play heavy once a day. spent a long time getting all 28 purple characters to lvl 70. Now the game wont allow me to pass the loading profile screen. I had a visually stimulating distraction. That's over now. No tech support. Moving on.

If there was an option for lower stars I would give this game it. The only thing I can say thats good about this game is the character design, other than that this game is trash. Crashes way too much, freezes a lot, not to mention the lack of freedom it has. Like why the hell is there not an option to disable autoplay, i get that it says its an autobattle game, but at least make the AI smarter and make better discisions. Also it just gets boring after a short period of time. Just add more events

You're probably here from an offer wall somewhere. If you are, don't bother, it's not worth the time. This game is based on RNG rolls for characters, and all offers are based on getting a certain level character. It is incredibly likely you'll waste days trying to meet that offer's requirements and still fail through no fault of your own. As to the game itself, it's incredibly basic. Historical figures dressed up as superheroes, with automatic gameplay. It got old in about three minutes.

It's a good game. ALOT TO GRASP at first though. But overall it is a good game with awesome graffix. Lately I have noticed that the game has been eating some of my rewards and or credits???? 😐 At first I thought it was just me, but then I really started paying attention and sure enough it's true. It will take my diamonds or special items that are NEEDED for the game or tournament going on at the current time and I will win the correct amount of rounds necessary but don't EVER receive the PRIZE
