Locked behind a 5 dollar a month paywall. I was going to do the trial but I always forget to cancel them so I opted to not even start it. I'm sure it's a fine app, maybe, maybe not. I'm torn on subscriptions because we are so inundated with them. I would much more likely choose a one time fee over a monthly fee. It just doesn't make sense to get for 5 bucks a month when I'm only gonna use it once every now and then. I just wanted a better radar than the weather channels. Oh well. Adios.

I have decided to move to another weather app. This one suddenly decided to show me three full screen ads in under a minute. Very frustrating. The map automatically zooms real close to your location so when you want to zoom out to see what's coming it hits you with the full screen ad. I don't have time for that. I have found other radar apps that just have banner ads, which are vastly preferable to full screen ads.

Ads destroyed this app. I've been using it for years and recently, every single time I go to open the app to look at the weekly forecast, loud, disturbing ads pop up and take over my entire screen. I cannot exit out of them. This has happened when I've been in quiet/public places. The only way to get them to stop, is to force close the app. Absolutely unacceptable. There are already enough ads on the main screen, so this is just over kill. Uninstalled. Do not recommend.

A customer since 2017. I pay the annual fees for this app so I don't see any ads. I have enjoyed using the app in the past. However, recently it hss become useless not showing cloud cover continuously. Suddenly there are no weather patterns in the Pacific west of California and other areas. There is a glitch. The 5 hour window looking ahead changed to 3, then back to 5 hours. Too many features making it complicated. There should be improvements not setbacks. Thanks

It might be a good app if you pay for the full subscription. They have those super intrusive ads that prevent you from doing what you are trying to do (see weather), most of the features are blocked until you pay the monthly subscription, and they constantly badger you to upgrade through push notifications that are persistent in your notification bar. If you are eager to enter into another monthly subscription, it's probably a good app. But I'm going to uninstall.

Free version is nothing but ads and teasers for things you don't get. So many apps offer the same features for free and don't give you the hassles. Thank you for the reply but the minute I installed it, willing to pay for it if it looked good, all I got was put down your credit card and have to remember to cancel in 3 days if you don't like it. If you're going to offer a free trial offer a free trial without luring people into inadvertently forgetting to cancel something if they didn't like it.

If you're looking for a weather radar map, skip this app. Radar is not over a useful period of time, and you have to play with settings to get it working. Also, it has an unusable amount of ads. They interrupt using the app, cover the screen, and pop up when you perform ANY action. App minus ads is okay, but has some usability issues related to clicking cities vs alert areas.

Forecasting and weather reporting is top notch! I have horses, so I really need accurate weather reporting in order to know what I can do on any given day. Unfortunately, what looks like an artifact of some sort (green like light rain) has been consistently showing for the last few months. Actual precipitation displays on top of it. I tried to find a way to report this within the app and could not. Would be great if I could get rid of it without having to uninstall and reinstall. Thanks!

Paid for app, and after a year I'm canceling it. Told me at least twice this winter that the current weather was a blizzard when it wasn't. Gives me notifications, then when I click on the app, I have a hard time finding what the notification was for. I usually give up and go to a free weather app to see if anything is going on. $20 a year is too much to pay for an inaccurate app.

Completely despicable that anyone would design a weather app that would alert for a tornado warning, then force a full screen ad that cannot be exited and completely prevents viewing the details of the short. Definitely worthless, and not at all okay. Also seems that if ads don't load, nothing else will load. While another app loaded alert info and even radar before the ads loaded.

I had this app for about a year. Recently we were monitoring for tornados and really needed something dependable. The problem with this app? Every time you clicked to adjust or play the radar, a full screen/stop everything ad pops up. You are forced to watch it or touch play something in the ad to close it out. I get ads, but this is like a 30 second phone takeover... while a tornado is in our area.

I was looking for a way to get severe weather alerts but was bombarded at least a dozen times with upsells to a paid account and invasive (full screen videos with loud audio) ads before I could find that option. At that point, I uninstalled. It was clear in just those first few minutes that this app will be more obnoxious than it would be helpful. Plus, the privacy protections were not sufficient to make me comfortable sharing my precise location.

Incredibly low resolution data, the radar looks worse than the weather channel did in 2005. The app is slow, glitchy, and I made sure to tell it that I used the app for work to get the features that I wanted. After that, it forced me into using the pro version, which I tried. This app is nothing but a low tier weather app with a high subscription price. If you want a good weather app, there are plenty of free ones that outperform this any day. Avoid unless it happens to fit your needs...

May 2024 update - lightning display is broken, you still get alerts with distance but no way to tell where. Canceling subscription and deinstalling app. Great radar display, really up to the minute and you can zoom down to street level. 2 years later - still liking this app. I appreciate the real time lightning alerts which prevent you from not anticipating a popup storm.

The app itself works, but the ads are constant. The ads outweigh much of the benefit. Better off just hoping for the best because when you need it, you'll certainly be blasted with a full minute ad. And god forbid you slightly touch the screen because it'll immediately bring you to download the latest garbage clicker game. Right about the time a tornado rips through your home.

Had it for years never had the paid version clicked on it for the first time in 6 months because I only use it during hurricane and rainy season In florida and all of a sudden adds more adds and unless you want something specific you have to pay never had to do that before and it no longer gives hourly weather up dates it's 48 or 72 not happy going to a different app and deleting this one.

Update: What happened to this app???? It used to be so good but now it's nothing but glitches and tells me there are connectivity issues and the service provider is unavailable. I hate losing good weather apps! ***Original: Love this app! Got it after my favorite weather app went away and found it to be the best replacement. Love the radar and lighting features! Hurricane tracker is a must. I did paid for the upgrade and feel it was worth it. It's a good weather app with all the features I need!

POP UP ADS GALORE. there's a better App This Android Version Sucks. Unless you x out all the install paywalls, you will not get the free version. If you do get the free version, expect a popup ad! Subscription NOT a one-time payment. I found MyRadar App to be far, far superior. It gives 2 dozen+ options with an Opacity slide. It offers Different Radar and Maps. Various Radars incl. NOAA. Satellite options, Cloud, and more. The pro version is a Single one-time charge.

Having ads pop up multiple times while trying to track a tornado in my area is just absolutely not acceptable. Your ads need to at a minimum be less frequent, should be less invasive, and absolutely should not be your priority when there is an active tornado in the area. Don't use this app unless you plan to pay for it. I will get my weather elsewhere thanks.

App is generally very good. The ads are somewhat annoying, but I get it -- it's a free app, they have to pay for it somehow. HOWEVER..... Lately one of the pop-up ads just goes to a completely black screen with no way to get back to the radar. Closing/reopening the app does not work, engaging/disengaging airplane mode does not work. The only way to get back to normal operation is to reboot the phone, which has me looking for a new radar app
